I LOVE PUCCINO'S! These reviews are trippin'. Their iced tea is SO GOOD. Their coffee is SO GOOD. & they have their own little Frozen Puccino and Frozen Cappuccino (both are different). Frozen Puccino has ice cream. Both so good and such a good treat. They have a frozen hot chocolate for littles ~or yourself :o) Food is fresh and so good. I really just like to come and get their eggs over medium, but their biscuit options look ASTOUNDING. I'm just not a biscuit girl lol. I love the ambiance. I love the bright colors. Every morning I go to my area Puccino's located at 1801 Dickory Ave, Harahan, LA 70123 for my daily granita. Today this location has a special buy one, get one free. It's a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you tell the server prior to ordering you will be charged full price for both drinks. In addition, when I complained the server indicated that she would get the manager and left me sitting only to find out that it was a lie - the manager had left for the day. There is nothing anyone can do. Need less to say, I will no longer be a customer. Nor will my two daughters who also frequent this location. read more

This was a second choice place we decided to go to when we found out our other spot was over an hour wait for breakfast. This place is drive thru coffee shop that happens to serve food. When we got there we placed our orders for food and drinks. They told us (6 people) it might take some time because they only had 1 cook. That was fine we just were hungry and wanted food. Honestly it didn't take much time at all to get our food either. Despite how quick we got our food, mine wasn't even hot. I would say it was closer to cold/warm than anything. I ordered the short stack of pancakes, which I feel like were frozen pancakes they slightly warmed up, though I could be wrong. I also got a side of bacon and that was good and crispy at least. I also ordered a hot chocolate and it wasn't all that good, but at least it was hot. The interaction with staff wasn't anything special and the decor of the place was all over the place. They found a bunch of different signs and sayings to hang up everywhere, just looked tacky. If I were back in the area I wouldn't go back. read more

I never go to Puccino's but I was in the area and figured why not try it out. They didn't have much to choose from but I ended up settling for a white chocolate granita. The granita tasted a little off and the white chocolate syrup was way too sweet. I only drank a couple of sips before it started to make my stomach upset. This review is specific to the Metairie Rd location of Puccino's. Have been to this location several times since moving to the area. The wait for breakfast is exceedingly long, even ordering something simple like grits which are obviously already prepared. I'm talking 30+ minutes for grits and toast. On another occasion my husband and I pulled into the parking lot a full hour before they closed because we wanted something for dessert after dining out, and while walking across the parking lot and up to the door, the inside went dark. They turned off pretty much all of the lights, I guess to discourage us from even trying to go inside. I can see doing something like this 10-15 minutes before closing, but an hour before? I went through the drive-thru this morning for an iced coffee, the simplest of caffeinated beverages. You pour this dark liquid over ice and you're done. Now, I always tip at coffee shops or anywhere really, because even though tipping culture sucks I'm a tipped employee, so it means a lot to me. BUT, your girl at the window asked how much tip I wanted to add to my card and I said none (because I was reaching for a dollar bill in my purse.) The only thing I've ever ordered from Puccino's is a frozen granita. The taste is always consistent and delicious. The two stars is for the service. I go to this location 2-3 times a week. Every single time the barista asks "tip on your card?" Even when service is horrible I always do at least 20% but I hate this question. Yesterday I went and she asked this question and I said 20% and she said absolutely nothing and handed me back my card and walked away from the window. It was very rude and that was not my first interaction with her being rude. I don't feel like people should be pressured into tipping, give them the receipt with the option to add your tip like the other locations do. read more

Mediocre at best. They get my business because they're literally the only coffeeshop directly on my route to work in the morning and lately I've been opting to sleep in an extra few minutes instead of making coffee. The interior can be described as TGI Friday's meets Starbucks. They purport to offer "the real coffee of Italy" but I've had real Italian coffee and can say this is not that. It's not bad, though, and it's cheap compared to most other coffeeshops around. They offer a full breakfast and lunch menu, but be warned - it's happened more than once that what I ended up with was not what I ordered. And since I was going through the drive thru I didn't realize it until after I'd already driven away. I guess they also have cocktails in the evening? Can't speak to those. Martine's is right down Metairie Road and they also have cocktails, because they're a bar, and that's what bars do. read more

Normally Puccino's is my default stop on the way to work and during the day this isn't usually a problem. I love the place, their products and the service However, stopping at this location during the evening hours seems to be a whole nother experience. The service during the evenings is always much slower. I really question why management would put teenagers to run the store in the evenings. The coffee/beverages are on the expensive side when compared to other coffee shops ($8 for a large frozen beverage???). Be warned: they are skimpy with espresso! Lattes: Small has 1 shot, medium 1.5 shots and Large 2 shots - for a $6 large latte I expect 3 shots. NOT a great study location, unless you like loud music and don't need a readily available power outlet. Good place for a quick meet up and maybe a bite to eat. Offers more variety than your cookie cutter Starbucks but at a higher cost without higher quality. read more
