They had all the meals with some kind of meat! All of the meals were expensive! This was a great find! We were on our way back to the airport and wanted one last unique dining experience. We love breakfast dives with great local food and local service practices. Tic Toc Cafe was super cool. We had their two signature plates . . . biscuits & gravy and loaded hash browns. Both were delicious, serving sizes were generous and prices fair. We sat at the bar and the service was nothing short of excellent. This place already is a winner being open 24/7. They however seem to have the energy of people who just had a nights full of rest. This small and quaint place holds a mighty pack in the flavor of their breakfast. The corn beef hash and the breakfast sandwich were nicely seasoned. This is a solid DINER! I found in my travels around NOLA there a several true diner style places that serve up hot, efficient...just plain good food. This place is one of them. The menu is limited but the do them well. The staff is friendly and all will serve and check on you. And even is the food come outs fast they don't rush you. Found this place on Yelp. Food was so much better than Waffle House and was around the same price. Obviously family owned. Food was home cooked. Service was on point. I went here last night 3/21/26 at 2:00 am. The place was not packed but had about 6 to 8 folks. The server took almost 15 minutes to come to the table and that should have been my warning that this was NOT going to be a good night. After placing my order the server disappeared only to reappeared on her cell phone trying to troubleshoot a computer issue. Unfotuntelly, as a result she never put my oder in. After an hour wait for 2 eggs, bacon and toast and a lot of complaining, the oder finelly came out, eggs runny and bacon burnt. It use to be a great lat night spot but not recently. The night krewe was bad and the service was horrible. I am bring good for giving them 2 stars because I do have a heart. After an hour wait for a $8.50 meal I can't believe they accetped my money but I guess customer "recovery" is not what they do at this place! Go to Waffle House not here. read more

Monday morning at 9am. Walked in and immediately met with smiles and "good morning baby, sit wherever you want baby". Very friendly atmosphere and kind servers. Treated everyone the same way. They all seem to get along well together, which obviously makes a difference. My server sat with me to take my order and was just so great! My order: Country-fried steak, scrambled eggs w cheese, grits; let me say about the grits, the consistency is perfect but they do not season them, at. all. That's my only gripe but the tables are donned with every fixing you could possibly want for your breakfast (salt, pepper, jelly's of different flavors, sugars for your coffee, bbq sauce, hot sauce, ketchup) so you can season to your own liking. I like to lay a base of some eggs on one half of the biscuit, topped with a piece of the CFS and it's just divine. This was my first time trying this diner. I love that it's open 24 hours a day! There are not a ton of places to eat after 10pm on a weeknight! I ordered the marinated chicken dinner plate and the country fried steak dinner plate, both to pick up. When we got there to grab our food, the staff inside had their masks pulled down to their chin. Lost a star for me here. Upon getting home with the food, we saw that both orders were wrong. We got a grilled chicken with no marinating and the country fried steak seemed like a pork-based breakfast sausage that had been battered and fried. We were disappointed. I was assured the country fried steak was beef when I ordered it over the phone. The diner was empty when we went to pick up our food, so I doubt I just received someone else's order. Another star lost here. Well, it can't be helped. We were already home, after all. Starving, we dug in. Although it wasn't what we ordered, the food tasted great! Well-seasoned bacon-y green beans, protein prepared properly, and the hash brown was crispy! It was delicious! However, for $12 dinner plates at a diner, the portions weren't very hearty. Diners are supposed to have cheap hearty food, so for a $12 meal, I expect to be kind of full after eating. I have to take off another star here too. The food tasted fantastic and I have no complaints about that, but there are some areas they should work on... Maybe it was just a bad night! read more

While waiting for a table, taking a look around the place, it was apparent that it was filthy. Just look at the air vent in the entry. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. The signs are amusing except the marque made reference to getting a hand job from a hooker. Not really a place you'd take your family for breakfast. Looks like this place caters to the late night crowd. Can't say how the food was as we decided to bail. Don't want to get sick while on vacation. Only reason we tried it was due to its proximity to the hotel. I'd recommend going a couple of miles to some place along Veterans. read more
