A quaint, delightful window service stand that cranks out delicious cookies and pastries. Incredibly popular and it's easy to see why when there's a fresh assortment of sweet treats at the ready. We had a chia seed pudding, a variety of cookies, and even ended up buying a box of cookie dough to take home. Everybody was fresh and delicious. We also had a coffee drink that was just okay. Provided a fun way to wait for our reservation nearby
On a walk and was walking past this establishment and glad I did. Walk up window to order. Had an Iced Matcha Latte and some chocolate chip cookies. Both were so good. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for, soft, moist and chewy. Will definitely comeback.
Tiny's lives on its adorable namesake and picturesque storefront. This particular location doesn't have any seating. Ordering is at a farmhouse-esque window and pickup at an adjacent window. Lines can be long and customer service individualized, so wait times are variable. Tiny's chocolate cookies are my preferred variety: soft and moist center, slightly crispy edges, on the thinner side rather than stacked like the Levain's version. There are plenty of chocolate chips, but the fragrant dough flavor still comes through (unpopular opinion, but it's still my favorite part). The chocolate white chip version is also good, though slightly drier given the chocolate powder in the dough. I like the ice cream flavors at Tiny's, especially the fresh strawberry and fresh mint, which boast of true fruity strawberry and herbal mint. The creaminess is fine, but definitely not the most decadent in a city that is obsessed with ice cream. Coffee is merely passable, and I've tried a variety of lattes and seasonal drinks. It's just too acidic for me. The matcha is abysmal, murky and dusty tasting rather than the fresh fragrant matcha I've been spoiled by in Japan and specialty matcha stores. I tried the seasonal earl grey matcha with vanilla cold foam, and it was probably the worst drink I've had in recent memory. In addition to the dusty matcha, the earl grey syrup was sickly sweet and artificial tasting. The vanilla cold foam on top was straight chalk, super powdery tasting with a hint of vanilla aftertaste. I tried really hard to take more than two sips of this drink, especially at $8 a pop, but just couldn't get past the unpleasant combination. Even with the famous namesake of cookies, Tiny's claim to fame in my mind used to be its dark chunky brownies. Those things were decadent, dark, and insanely satisfying. The cocoa was so dense that the brownie slabs were close to black, yet somehow the texture was still the perfect balance of chewy and moist. The edge pieces are always my favorite, but I'd even eat the middle because the whole chunk was so dang good. Then.. Tiny's changed the recipe, and now its brownies are a shadow of what they used to be. The new version is made with lighter (perhaps not Dutch processed?) cocoa powder that tastes mildly of chocolate compared to its predecessor, and the texture is crumbly bordering on dry. It's a shame and definitely cut my visits to Tiny's by more than half. I'll come back for the cookies, maybe have the ice cream in a pinch, avoid the drinks (especially matcha), and continue to mourn the loss of the prior dark brownie supreme.

I decided on 2 cookies & a kids sized cocoa. Service was pleasant and as I waited, it was nice to see regulars walking up for their everyday fix. Lots of kids and dogs so it's that kind of place where everyone seems to know one another. I liked the window setup they had, and you picked up your items to your left. One woman did come up to complain that one cookie was soft and the other was hard. They did switch it out for her as she was told that they were like that. I enjoyed my own cookie regardless, and I ended up getting more for the flight crew on my return trip at Tiny No. 5 after lunch. This is an appealing spot, and those who live here are lucky to have it!
I've heard many great things about Tiny's. A coworker mentioned the cookies being delicious so I made my way over during the weekend. The current reviews match what she said, as well as them cookies! I don't know what Tiny and them are doing in the back but honey keep it up! I ordered two chocolate chip cookies and one ginger molasses (beloved likes the unique sweets - I said what I said lol). That chocolate chip cookie is outstanding! I wish I was eating one now, but don't worry because soon I'll be back. Haha! It was frigid outside when I went and thankfully I wasn't in line for too long. Service was good and the person was friendly. Check Tiny's out if you haven't already!
Amazing soft cookies and other goodies. We were visiting Houston for the first time and were recommended to come here. We tried their chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and their famous cinnamon roll. Everything was so good, that I had to slow down and savor it all. My friend got their fresh strawberry ice cream on a cone and I got a scoop of their milk and cookies flavor in a tiny cup. Texture of the ice cream was really good. The cookies were so soft that they easily broke apart. Also very kind people working here that are just trying to make your day :)
I'm in love with this ice cream shop. Living nearby is a bit dangerous because I find myself eating more ice cream and cookies than I should! They have a cute little walk up storefront where you can order coffees, pastries, their world famous cookies, and ice cream! I am usually a chocolate chip cookie girl, or I go for the milk and cookies ice cream. I'm a creature of habit. The employees are always really sweet and take time to explain the menu. Once you place your order, it's just a couple minutes till they hand it to you and you can find a nearby spot to sit and eat! I've used the patio area of Tiny Boxwoods (their parent restaurant) a few times on a weekday afternoon to devour my sweets. Located in the heart of West U, they offer a nice stop to any West U natives or students after a day at the elementary school across the street. Now for their offerings - the chocolate chip cookies are arguably the best in Houston. (Trust me - I've done a taste test). Soft and heavenly, they offer the right chip to cookie ratio, are decadent, just the right level of sweet, and filling! On one occasion I tried a menu item where you can put a cookie at the base of your ice cream cup - mixed with the milk and cookies ice cream, it's heaven on earth. The milk and cookies ice cream flavor is my favorite because it mixes my two favorite things - vanilla ice cream and tiny's cookies. Always a solid choice (which means they sometimes run out early!) I've tried a few other flavors including their more recent death by chocolate which was absolutely delicious - though the milk and cookies flavor still takes the cake (no pun intended!) One of the best sweets shops in Houston, I'm so lucky I live nearby! This is a MUST-SEE for any Houstonians and those visiting Houston!
Cookies always hit. It's such a treat to grab to finish off your evening with a glass of milk! I also tried their strawberry matcha latte. It's not my favorite. I already knew from the color of the green it wasn't the right shade.. haha but I liked how they grind the strawberry puree to make it a strawberry cream foam top (my fave). It might've been cause it was later throughout the day and the matcha tin has been outside in the hit and not stored in a cool place. It won't be my first choice but if I do get the matcha latte again, I'll stop by earlier in the day. I really like their chocolate crinkle cookies as well! It's very fudgy though so it's for my time of the month Lolol TMI BUT it's great with a glass of milk! The workers are all so sweet and happy! Love being greeted by anyone there! Never had a bad experience here!
The location is kind of tucked away, which actually adds to its charm--it has that quiet, old-fashioned feel that makes it stand out from the usual busy spots. I tried the cinnamon roll and it was excellent. The glaze was perfectly done--not too heavy, not too light--and the roll itself was soft, fluffy, and fresh. You can tell it was made with care. I also had a sprinkle cookie, which was just as good--soft, chewy, and satisfying without being overly sweet. On top of that, the service was great. Friendly, smooth, and welcoming from start to finish. Overall, it's a spot I'd definitely come back to if I'm in the mood for quality baked goods in a more relaxed setting.

The chocolate chip cookie was good. It was soft and not too sweet. I enjoyed the milk and cookies ice cream as well.
They have a great little set up for this area. The cookies were pretty good although they shorted one of our many that we ordered. The vanilla caramel crunch ice cream was a big hit but the mint chocolate chip ice cream tasted like spearmint. If we were in the area, we might stop in but we would not drive back over for them again. They consistently had a line to order but I would say abit pricey for what you get. Just my opinion. It helps that is connected to several different eating spots in the area.
Cozy and tranquil, would be nicer with benches but I don't go often enough (3rd time in 5 years) to complain. The ice cream and baked goods are fantastic, the service is polite, and this is a nice spot to pick up snack and take it home in your car.

Ambiance: This place is so cute!! You park right up front and then go to the little window to order. It is pretty quick to order and get your treats as well. I love how they have everything displayed so you can pick and choose easier. Cookies: I got the chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. The chocolate chip was by far the best out of those two. The chips were a bit melted and the center of the cookie is so soft. The outside of the cookie is more crunchy for the perfect texture. I would say the cookies are a bit greasy though. Strawberry icecream: The icecream is delicious as well. The strawberry flavor tasted natural and there was no off putting artificial flavor! read more

Tiny's Milk & Cookies is home to the best chocolate chip cookies! They're the reason I keep coming back, and they're always baked perfectly. This visit, I decided to try something different and ordered the double chocolate cookie. It was still good, but a little sweeter than I expected because of the white chocolate chips mixed in. If you have a big sweet tooth, you'll probably love it. They also had the cutest frosted sugar cookies on display. For drinks, the matcha is always consistent, and I usually add lavender syrup! read more

Milk & Cookies in Houston is a must if you love fresh desserts done right. The chocolate chip cookies might honestly be the best I've ever had. When they come out of the oven, they absolutely melt in your mouth -- and they are definitely not stingy with the chocolate. There's always a crowd in there, which tells you everything you need to know. People are enjoying cookies, ice cream, and just hanging out with good vibes all around. The croissants are also delicious and worth getting, especially if you want something a little different. They have a great variety of cookies and snacks, so there's something for everyone. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Great desserts, great vibes, and great service. Highly recommended. read more

I went to tinys milk and cookies at their west u location for a pick me up drink for a night of studying. They're a little cute window open at the side of a restaurant offering cookies, coffee, and icecream. I decided to get a vanilla latte with almond milk and my friend got the coconut sugar latte with regular milk and cinnamon. My drink was solid but I think I shoudlve stuck with regular milk because the almond milk made it a little too nutty for me. I liked my friends drink a lot more. It feels more refreshing and they don't over do the cinnamon at all so it complements the drink very well read more

Simply delightful! This charming bakery shop sells so much, but they are known for their chocolate chip cookies! This small place delivers big happinessfor the sweet tooth. With it being right next door to a restaurant it's the perfect stop off for a delectable after dinner dessert! This beautiful walk-up window location is in Rice Village, nestled in a residential area. Shout out to Gage who assisted me in familiarizing myself with the menu of options, sharing what makes them so special, and served up my tasty treats. The service was great! I selected the Vanilla Caramel Crunch Ice Cream with their signature Cocolate Chip Cookie... heaven, I tell ya! Whether you are coming for a sweet pastry, their house favorite (ie. A sandwich, parfait, pudding, etc), coffee or ice cream, don't forget the cookie! I'll be back soon. Until then, enjoy and bon apetit! read more

This place takes the term excellent counter service to a whole other level! I remember thinking "where's the entrance?" when I first saw Tiny's pristine front counter. And that's the entire point. The fact that you can't go in is what makes it so special. I love starring at all the pastries and cookies, all freshly baked. The employees are so friendly, helpful and prompt. My personal faves are the brioche bun, the chocolate chip cookie and the croissant. The death by chocolate ice cream is also, as indicated by the title, dangerously good. One piece of advice is to get there early, because they run out fast! But the extra effort is definitely worth it! read more
This is the first time I've been to this Tiny's location, and it was super cute. The little blue barn door aesthetic, and the walk up to the counter is adorable. I've always been a fan of their cookies, and they didn't disappoint this time either. The cookies are always super gooey like they've just been baked on the spot. The chocolate chips in my chocolate chip cookie are always on the verge of melting or they are melting when I pull the cookie apart, which is exactly how they should be. I could devour about 5 of them in one sitting. The person taking the orders was also really nice, and he gave the food out within 30 seconds of ordering, so that was great. read more

If you get there in time and you have a choice between the chocolate or almond croissants, please choose the chocolate. You won't be sorry. If you're into chocolate chip cookies everyone mostly knows that this is the place to be. I would skip on the decorated cookies and head over to Michael's cookie jar instead since those taste better over there. If you are into the appearance of it, then go for it by all means. Coffee and cappuccinos are good but they do get busy with kids lining up for cookies and ice cream. They also often have a mint lemonade that's a bit sweet but still refreshing in the summer. They even have a bike parking spot. read more

This place is a little charming dessert spot in the heart of Houston. The wait time was fairly short and staff friendly and helpful. My friend and I both ordered their Summer edition of sherbert ice cream, and it was delicious and creamy! I also ordered chocolate chip cookies which were so delicious... (we devoured them before we could get a picture). Although it's a walk-up stand to order, it's the perfect little spot to quickly satisfy a sweet tooth on-the-go. read more

Best chocolate chip cookie I've had in Houston :) there's a subtle crisp to it that is key to a good cookie. I went late at night and the cookies weren't warm at all which was a little disappointing but I can tell when they're fresh out the oven it would be unbeatable. The ice cream here was super light and delicious as well, not too sweet. read more
I had never been to Tiny's Milk and Cookies but was nearby with a sweet tooth. There is a small parking lot for the restaurant that was pretty full when I arrived. However, there were spots in front as well as street parking. It functions as a stand so there really isn't anywhere to enjoy the treats other than the restaurant patio but I wish there were tables just for Tiny's Milk and Cookies. Service was friendly, but I was disappointed all of my first choices of baked goods weren't available. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. It wasn't served warm so that was a bummer. The cookie was good and big but it wasn't great. I'd be open to coming by at a better time to try different items and be sure to ask for it warmed. read more

Houston's best cookie! It is always a treat to come to Milk and Cookies. The chocolate chip cookie is always a good choice but I also enjoy their chocolate croissant and other pastries. They also have coffee in the morning that was solid! Highly recommend coming here! read more

After a great lunch experience at Tiny Box, we made our way to Tiny's Milk + Cookies. It wasn't crowded at this time so we were able to place our order at the window and get our cookies quickly. I got the chocolate chip cookie and seeing as this was my first time here, I got two just in case I ended up loving it. The cookies were warm, soft and delicious. The staff were also very friendly which made the experience that much better. I think each cookie was $3.25 or $3.50 so that's about the average price nowadays. read more

How much is a single cookie, half a dozen, and a dozen? (I'm not sure if the cookie prices are cheaper if bought by half a dozen or dozen).
I believe a singe cookie is about $2.50. Not sure how much it is for a half dozen or a dozen.
If i am allergic to peanuts and treenuts, and need to avoid x-contamination, what can i eat at Tiny's Milk & Cookies?
There are nut and gluten free options, but you should ask the bakers at the window
Do they have gift cards and if they do, does anyone know if they have a pre-set amount?

Where are the prices though?
The prices are steep, I think cookies are almost $3 a pop but if you're going to Tinys in West U, you don't worry about the prices, you eat your delicious cookie and go about your way. Coffee drinks and lattes between $3-$5.
