    Pupusas

Found this cute little spot in East Boston while waiting for the rest of our group for Rino's across the street. It's a small place with coffee and el Salvadoran food. We got some hot chocolate and pupusas while we were waiting. The hot chocolate was good and had cinnamon inside. We shared a loroco and cheese and a frijol and cheese pupusa. The pupusas were super good and the salsa and cabbage they served with them were perfect. Since it was after 4, we found free parking at a school across from the fire station. Prices were super reasonable and the server was so friendly. Would definitely come back for their pupusas if I was in the area!

Might be the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Huge portions of delicious food at a great price. Will be back.

They have a large menu of offerings both drink and food wise for both breakfast and lunch as well as many baked goods on display too. For those having a difficulty time making choices may struggle. I noticed their drink menu said to ask about seasonal specials and asked. I will say I was impressed the size of the list they had but was surprised the had "harvest specials" that all felt like Fall specials. I did end up grabbing an iced banana bread latte while my wife got their brown sugar shaken oat milk espresso. They were tasty drinks but not my absolute favorite of each drink I've ever had. The banana bread latte had a surprising amount of chunky banana purée in it. Food wise my wife and I both settled on getting The Southie; Egg white, Swiss, Avocado, Spinach, & Tomato. It was tasty and would be something I'd order again. Although, next time I would likely try one or two baked goods instead to give the bakery aspect more of a try. Even the red velvet cake slices looked delicious and tempting. Ambiance was a large and inviting space for those looking for grab and go as well as others looking to sit and enjoy or do some work. Variety of table seating and some window seat stools. A solid enough experience I recommend giving them a try for food and drinks!

Wait time was about 15 min, which they tell you as soon as you order. The wait was well worth it. I got a hot hojicha latte and it is one of the best I have tried. WELL, I was downtown early today and got to try their matcha latte. I was torn between getting hot or iced but I went with hot with oatmilk. It was so goood. You can taste the high quality of the matcha. There was a line to the door and was moving a little slow but the turn around time of service was quick once I placed my order. I sat down on the wall steps (not sure of the correct name) while I waited. I was in awe when I saw the latte art. Small cafe but has choices of seating options to sit. There's tables with chairs, a bar seating to the back and the wall steps. I noticed someone ahead of me in the line brought her own reusable tumbler and I like that the cafe supports sustainability in that way. I didn't see whether they made her drink order in the tumbler or they made it first then poured it into her tumbler. Anyway, good to know if you like to reduce waste.
