The Magic Miguels put on an incredible show--so much more than just a quick performance. They're truly talented entertainers, and it was a highlight of the trip! Dani was a fantastic pole dance instructor, and the boat crew made the entire experience so much fun. I felt like we were on the best and liveliest boat on the water compared to the others. To top it off, we got to see playful whales in the water--an added bonus to an already incredible day! The first conversation I had with Gaby and the many more exchanges I had with the team made every moment that much less stressful. Vivid Occasions really wants to understand your's and your groom's wants, needs, desires, and overall feel that you'd like to accomplish on your big day...all with staying within your budget (who does't love that?!). Hands down they delivered in every aspect and I know that we would not have had the wedding we did without them. Their approach to the planning made an OCD bride (like myself) feel organized, understood, and I always knew they were a quick call or email away. They blocked out the decision making down to "Time to Pick Your Music" to "Let's Choose an Officiant!" Our family had such a great experience at the Welcome Dinner that many of them went out of the comforts of their hotel during their trip to explore the downtown area more. Coordinating an Indian wedding with multiple events and layered cultural traditions adds a lot of complexity, and they handled it all with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. They managed our many questions, last-minute changes, and final touches with ease. If there was ever a discrepancy or oversight, it was immediately addressed and resolved. We knew generally what we wanted, but when it came to making final decisions, we couldn't always trust ourselves to make the right choices (welcome party venue, décor, certain vendors, etc.) - and luckily, we didn't really have to. We put all of our trust into Palms, and we are FOREVER grateful that we did. Every time we were dragging our feet, MJ and Elsa would say "trust us, this [vendor / design / venue] will be perfect," and they were right 100% of the time. The vendors they recommended to us were all 10/10, and they thought of truly every last detail. Their execution during our wedding weekend was top-notch: I didn't have to think or stress for one second during our fabulous three-day wedding celebration. Anytime there was a slight hiccup throughout the weekend, they brought it up to us with a plan already in place to fix, so we never worried about one single thing. Even if you're not incredibly indecisive like us, they will take your vision and execute it FLAWLESSLY. Great prices and neighborhood vibe - I saw many older people come in for their daily bread while there. They have the usual conchas, puerquitos, and gelatinas, but they also have carrot cake, birthday cakes, flans, and "pinguinos" (disappointingly, never saw anything that resembled a penguin). Their plain rolls were so soft and their conchas had almost a caramelized crunch to the topping. If you're in the area, stop by! Otherwise it's a bit out of the way in a residential neighborhood.

There is also an OXXO (think 7-11 in the states) where you can pick up milk and have an instant breakfast if you're traveling with kids or if you just enjoy a good fresh baked sweet bread with coffee.
