We met our friends there cuz they said it was their favorite Mexican joint but we were NOT impressed. 1st of all they came & dropped off the chips & salsas but the salsa was already poured into the small dipping bowls & only filled half way so we kept asking for more & they would only bring out these tiny dipping bowls with the salsa. I'm like, really? Then my friend ordered some kind of 3 meat dish but the steak was chopped up so fine that it was like crumble hamburger size. She complained about it, they said that they changed it & that is the new style. She was not happy. We were visiting family and it was suggested that we get a take out order from here. This is a great little neighborhood place. We walked in and were immediately asked what we wanted to order. We placed our order and the food was ready in no time. We all enjoyed a very delicious meal with plenty of chips and salsa on the side. All the staff were friendly and we were seated right away. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday around 11 when they opened. The menu is huge! Plus they have a lot of unique items that you don't normally see like fries smothered in steak. I decided on the #24 combo which was a burrito, taco, and chile relleno. We came here for the first time. It's a really nice place and the servers were friendly. However, the food is nothing to brag about. My daughter and I ordered the Chicken Milanesa Torta. To my surprise, it came with fries, and the refried beans were inside the Torta. I was disappointed since I like to mix my beans with the rice. The tortas had very little beans and mostly consisted of bread. The chicken only took up half of the bread. It was also pretty thin and wasn't even breaded. I had to originally return it because I asked for it without cheese and they brought it with cheese. My husband ordered the Combo platter which came with a Burrito, tamales, rice and beans. The tamale was unrecognizable. He really wasn't sure what it was, and he is from Mexico. It was very wet and drenched in sauce. The food took longer than average to arrive. Literally spent $50 on 2 orders of onions smh those were supposed to be steak fajitas...what they have was 99% ONIONS no tomatoes and a couple baby strands of belle peppers you can barely see...that's just ignorant why would anyone serve someone this? Overall a pretty good authentic style Mexican restaurant. We went on a Friday and the wait was quite long which was surprising to us. The chips and salsa are great and fresh while you wait on your meals. There seemed to be confusion when ordering but overall she did her best. I ordered a vegetarian plate with a burrito , enchilada and tostada it all tasted great. Thought it a bit odd that everything was covered in cheese tho instead of sauces like normal, especially since the enchilada was cheese inside already. She was nice enough to give me a little enchilada sauce tho for it which made it better. My date got an entree and a side tostada as well as a house marg. And enjoyed it all. We were able to pay quickly when we were finished which was nice and they had paper menus now for COVID I'm assuming but overall a good experience. Their prices are slightly above average for this style of restaurant in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Would probably return when in the mood for authentic style Mexican food again. read more

We finally got a server and ordered drinks and food. Fajitas are always good. After we received our food, we didn't see anyone for quite a bit. Service is sometimes an issue here. If they had better service I would come here more often. The server did an okay job. He would only refill 1 drink at a time, even though multiple refills were needed. That means I was left without a drink for 7-10 minutes. Then he would slam the refills down on the table. I'm not sure if he was in a rush, but he really didn't talk or make eye contact. The fajitas were amazing. It's a great place to have lunch. Caught a quick lunch meal here on the drive south on I-65. It's located about five miles off the freeway had a vegetarian in our party chose this place to accommodate them. Scored fajitas, cheese enchiladas, some guacamole and chips,chicken tortilla soup, and michelada. Food was solid chicken tortilla soup for $7 was a huge portion. Tasted more like chicken noodle soup then tortilla soup but it was still fresh and delicious. The michelada was huge and also equally delicious. The ladies enjoyed the fajitas and enchiladas. Rice and bean accompaniments were also good. We spent a total of about 45 minutes at the restaurant start to finish service was excellent total bill for 5 people was around $60. I have been here a few times and I would have to say this place is just okay. The service is always hit or miss. They do have a lot of seating options because the place is pretty big. They have the elaborately carved booths and the flashy murals. It's pretty inexpensive here. They have some starters that aren't really Mexican, but more American. So if you have someone in your party who doesn't totally love Mexican food, that's a nice option for them. The arroz con pollo is pretty good here. Nothing in particular has really stood out to me.
