    Pollo a la Diabla

Located in a strip mall on County Line and Emerson Ave, Lindo Mexico is a popular restaurant for weeknight dinners. Parking is a bit difficult to find with Ale Emporium and a nail salon next door. Their menu is elaborate, the vibe is authentic and the food is good. This was my second time on a weeknight and it was 80% full around dinner time. Luckily we were seated quickly, and the salsa and chips arrived shortly after too. However, no one came to take our order or bring us water for a while. They have table side guacamole that is okay-ish. The fajitas are good, the pollo diablo was good too. Their chips are really fresh and crispy. I believe it's a pretty good restaurant as long as you have time and aren't impatient about the service.

We ate here again not long ago. The food this time was awful. The service was rushed and indifferent, even though they weren't especially busy. We won't be returning.

I enjoyed this place. It was a large group of us that went to get drinks. I had not been before but all I kept hearing was they have the best margaritas. I got the guava the pineapple /mango and the 3 berries. All of them were delicious.

The Guava Margarita is so good and refreshing! It was my first time trying the Molcajete and it was very flavorful. It was a little on the salty side for me and could have used some spicy jalapeños. But you can enjoy this without wrapping it in the tortillas. The vegetable chimichangas and quesadillas were good and full of flavors. Excellent customer service!

My favorite... the big Dos Equis Amber, in a frosted mug...don't ever change!

The Chips and Salsa were very good, my wife doesn't care for extreme salsa so this was pleasing to us both. And I'm a big fan of full flavor in my food, the burrito I had was awesome and my wife raved about the Pazole.

They can handle several large groups at a time.

We enjoy Lindo's Mexican Restaurant because they have a large, diverse menu, plus the food and service are always good. The atmosphere is bright and colorful and always feels festive. All the staff we have encountered are helpful and friendly. This is a great restaurant to dine at, especially if you have a large group. Many 6 - and 8-top tables are in the first dining area with the ability to push more tables together for whatever size group arrives. A nice size bar is tucked away to your left as you enter. There have been several changes since we've been here. The cocktail menu now offers 20 oz. and 40 oz. margaritas and tequila flights with 3 new types of margaritas; Tropical, Black, and Coco Azul Margarita. An Old Fashioned has been added plus a Cazuelita Tiaquepaque in a clay bowl filled with tajin, squirt, sea salt, grapefruit, orange, lime and tequila. Interesting margarita? You can find all your favorite appetizers and entrees, plus options other restaurants do not carry. Their lunch menu is generous and reasonably priced. Lunch is offered Monday - Friday, 11:00 - 2:30 p.m. Lunch combos, Mexican pizza, burritos, several salads, egg options, chimichangas, burritos, and veggie entrees are just a few of the lunch options. The regular menu is extensive as well and has many burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, carnitas, quesadillas, veggie entrees, salads, molcajete, tacos, and more. Tacos de Birria is a new option I'm seeing today with marinated goat meat topped with cilantro and onions served with a bowl of goat broth for dipping. Today, my husband ordered Cameron's Chimichanga served with rice and beans and a large Dos Equis Amber. He devoured his lunch and appeared to enjoy every bite. I ordered the 3 Chicken Enchiladas Poblanas topped with Mole Pablano sauce (black sauce with nutty-sweet taste and spice) served with excellent, fluffy rice and, beans. I ordered one ear of Elote (Corn on the Cob with seasonings), which was tasty but overcooked. Our server was swamped with several large groups after we received our food, but another server helped with the to-go boxes and check. It did get loud in the dining area with the additional crowd. Overall, it was a nice lunch, and we'll be back.

I love Mexican food but wasn't a big fan. It lacked flavor. My bill was almost $20, which I thought was on the high side. My waitress was great. My food came out piping hot. The restaurant seemed clean from what I could see.

Updated review: decided to give Lindo a second chance and dined in this time vs. ordering take out. There was a big difference in the food taste and freshness this time! The salsa was much better and had more of a salsa like consistency than my previous experience and I really liked that they put lima beans and some other veggies in the rice. That's my favorite way and not all Mexican restaurants do this. My burrito was a generous portion size and tasted fine. It's a pretty standard menu item and hard to mess up. I upgraded my review to 4 stars this time.

This is one of those places that I have been coming to for YEARS but have not posted a review yet. Lindo Mexico has been around for, according to their menu, 2 decades. I have been coming here before it was Lindo Mexico. It used to be called Little Mexico and was located on 135 and County Line Road. They have always had the best service, fresh food, and a great atmosphere. I'm really proud of how hard they have worked to make it the restaurant it is today. I love getting the Margarita flight because it gives you a little variety. You get to choose 3 flavors of your choice off of the menu. Today, I wanted to try an off-menu food item that I actually saw from reading a Yelp review, the quesabirria tacos. I have had birria/quesabirra tacos before but never from here. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. Let the pictures do the talking. I would definitely recommend checking out Lindo Mexico if you're on the Southside. It's easily accessible; right off 65 and County Line Road. You can definitely expect great service and fresh food!

I love Lindo Mexico II, Inc in Greenwood after just one visit. TLDR: Absolutely wonderful lunch with fresh food, thoughtful service, a tidy establishment, and delicious margaritas using fresh ingredients. I'll be back. ----- Delicious lunch with my mom at Lindo Mexico 2 in Greenwood. We were promptly greeted by smiling faces and seated at a booth. The decor is very colorful and entertaining, including Indianapolis-themed carvings. I was raised in Indianapolis, but, I live in Northern California now, and my taste for Mexican food has evolved to the point where I eat it multiple times a week and enjoy spicier and more flavorful food than some Hoosiers (like my mom, who wants only bland and non-spicy food and still misses Chi-Chi's and uses Taco Bell as her baseline for quality). I also prefer a margarita WITHOUT sweet and sour mix. I want fresh lemon/lime. At the guidance of our server, I tried a margarita flight with their house margarita, a tamarind margarita, and a jalapeño margarita. Mom tried the house and ended up bogarting it off my sample dish, ha! And she never drinks margaritas. I enjoyed all three, with the house and tamarind being my favorites. Mom loves nachos, so for her entree she ordered the insanely huge and great bang for your buck Nachos Bravos ($14.99). It was a huge platter of nachos topped with fresh iceberg lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, steak, shrimp and chicken. It was DELICIOUS. The seasoning on the proteins was off the charts. I wanted something house made, so I went for the Chori-Pollo, a perfectly cooked grilled chicken breast topped with cheese and house made chorizo. Not the healthiest option, but it was savory, salty and really good. Beans and rice were tasty, too. I also had a side of house made hot sauce which was on par with others I've had in Central Indiana: smoky tomatillo-based salsa. It was the spiciest I've had yet (finally!). Overall, we both praised the experience and look forward to returning soon. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular at this restaurant! https://www.inlindomexico.com/ p.s. after I told the server I was from California, about 15 minutes later, he told me "Since you're from California, you also might want to know we have menudo, pozole and birria - and we can make quesabirria." I told him I'll be back for sure!!!

Facebook foodie group recommended their margarita flights- so we decided to try. They did not disappoint! As a bonus the shrimp ceviche was AMAZING. Chips and salsa on point! House margarita was my favorite. We also tried the tamarind- yum! The bartender Moises is awesome. He has an Instagram with his creations (Myrealdrinks). It was an excellent mid-afternoon snack and sip. Can't wait to try all the food soon!

They did a great job. Only four stars bc the refried beans are made with white beans which was very unexpected and their salsa is verde (made with tomatillos?) instead of the traditional red tomato one. They should give you an option. Granted I didn't ask bc I wanted to see what the "standard" things are. Their chips are fresh and tastes like they make them in house. You have a choice of corn or flour tortillas with your meal. Plenty of cheese drip is included in almost every dish so if you prefer more traditional dishes (wout all the cheese) let them know. They took it out for us. We only had the chicken loko dish but that was good. Easy parking too. Solid 4

It's clearly a family run business with the daughters helping out front and a mom in the kitchen. The place is freshly painted, there are comfy padded booths, tasteful decorations, and unobtrusive latin reggaeton playing in the background. Service was very friendly and food could take slightly on the longer side but that's because everything is made to order. The moment we put our order in we could hear the kitchen (which was one lady) throwing stuff on the cooktop and working hard the whole time. Food: They served some complimentary chips and salsa which were very good. The chips are actually fresh fried still with the glistening oil on them. Likewise, we got a bunch of tacos and the tortilla shells were fresh fried and crispy which was amazing. Quesa birria - The birria has a very deep rich flavor almost like cabeza meat, it might be from the bone/marrow used in the stock but it has a almost game-y flavor I hadn't had before. The dipping broth was excellent and they serve it with sliced cucumber, radishes, grilled jalapeños and caramelized onions which was such an amazing touch. If you're not opposed to bold flavors I would recommend this. 4.5/5 Barbacoa taco - Not a saucy Barbacoa like Chipotle but equally as flavorful and tender. This will always be a safe bet if you just want a beefy taco that pairs great with their salsas. 4/5 Al pastor torta - My wife likes tortas more than me but I will say the Al pastor is great. They do not skimp on the caramelized pineapple chunks and the pork has a nice coating of that smoky savory achiote seasoning. The torta itself is balanced in terms of the lettuce, beans, and tomato. The bread tastes home made with a slightly chewy texture. 4.5/5 Horchata - It's creamy and rich but not too sweet and generally mild on the cinnamon, all around enjoyable. They give you a giant mason jar of it too which is like 900 ml! 4.5/5 Special mention to the salsas which are just plain great. The hot salsa is like a roasted jalapeño salsa with a smokey kick from either pasilla or guajillo chiles. The green salsa is just perfectly balanced with a gentle savory and tangy flavor that enhances whatever you put in on. Overall I seriously enjoyed Fridas. It is not fancy or innovative but if you're looking for a family-run hole-in-the-wall business serving authentic and filling food, I would strongly recommend giving this place a try. Just for reference, we got two entrees, an horchata, and a la carte taco for $40 (pre-tip) and were stuffed for the rest of the day.

For $10, I felt like it should've been up all the way with more mayo and spicy seasoning. I love how big and open the restaurant is, there is a half wall and seating on the other side, I appreciated that it was quieter and more relaxed.
