Save your money, this place is trash. The birria tacos lack flavor. I tasted no birria seasoning. The only salsas they have are hot. The chicken was dry with no flavor same with the beef. The strawberry agua Fresca tasted like a powder mix and it tasted artificial The food is overpriced and they tax every item to use a debit card. We will never return read more

There is such good food and flavor here!!! A true authentic restaurant!!! We got Cemita made of Cabeza (cow brain meat), the bread was a mixture of crunchy and soft on the inside, the meat was very tender and juicy. The avocados used were very fresh, the ratio of meat and cheese was perfect, and the chipotle peppers brought it together so nicely. Their fries are perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The carne asada tacos were a little dry, however, I think it was mostly the tortillas that were dry, the meat was very well seasoned. I do wish they came with more onion, cucumber, radishes, and like wedges. Now, for the real star of the show, the salsas!!!! Wowww!!!!! They do not play around! The spiciest one is the green one with avocado chunks is incredible, the smooth green salsa is the second spiciest and lastly the chipotle red is the least spiciest. Truly incredible salsas!!! I was a bit disappointed in the Esquite, it was $10, and they didn't even fill the cup to the top, it was filled about 3/4ths of the way. For $10, I felt like it should've been up all the way with more mayo and spicy seasoning. I love how big and open the restaurant is, there is a half wall and seating on the other side, I appreciated that it was quieter and more relaxed. Overall, their food was pretty good, I am looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. read more

My Go-To Birria Taco spot on the Southside! Red Tacos is right off Madison and Stop 10 in a little strip mall. You walk in and order from the counter. They have a large menu behind the counter and lots of bottled drink options. No fountain drinks. You take a seat and they call your number when the food is ready. Everything is made fresh to order. One thing that stands out is how FRESH all of the ingredients are. They usually have an area with fresh radishes, cucumbers, salsas, and peppers but they didn't have that out this time. That might've been because I came towards the end of the day. But they did come on the side of my meal. They rented out the space next to them which opens into a whole other room with seating. But you can also find the sweets and fresh ice cream in here! The staff is always so kind and welcoming. If you're looking for a great birria spot, try out Red Tacos! read more

EXCELLENT TACOS!! I am so happy I randomly stopped in here on my way back home for the day. When I walked in the man tending the counter greeted me and took my order after walking me through their offerings. I ordered 3 tacos and all 3 were AMAZING. The corn tortillas were warm and yummy, the meat tasted amazing and the sauces at their sauce station were bursting of flavor, warning though, very spicy and I like spice haha! This place was horrible. I found it through TikTok and was severely disappointed. We waited over 90 minutes for an order of 6 tacos, which is absolutely ridiculous. The craziest part is they don't tell you the estimated wait time until after you've already paid. They told us 45 minutes, but it ended up being over 90. If I had known that before paying, I never would have stayed. The food is extremely overpriced. We paid $45 for 6 tacos and 2 drinks, which is insane for a taco shop. Tacos should never take that long to make. The horchata was awful, and the tacos were some of the blandest I've ever had. I honestly don't think they even use salt. There was almost no flavor. The temperature inside the restaurant was unbearable. Everyone was sweating the entire time. We brought our baby with us, and he was absolutely drenched in sweat. It was so hot that I genuinely questioned whether it was even safe for customers. This is definitely not a baby-friendly place. I also noticed that multiple groups had one person get their food while the rest of their table waited another 20-30 minutes. Watching couples eat separately because the kitchen couldn't get two meals out together was ridiculous. This place is all hype from TikTok. Between the outrageous prices, bland food, insanely long wait, terrible organization, and unbearably hot restaurant, I will never be back. Este lugar fue horrible. The tacos didn't come with consommé even though it says it does. We also didn't get our order of chips and guacamole. The waitress was nice, but for the price, it wasn't worth it. This restaurant is located in a very small strip mall and has a small parking lot to go with it, that they share with other businesses in the mall. They have a rather large dining area with televisions placed around it. You will find a little photo op here with their neon lighted wings. The place was really clean and had a hip cafeteria like vibe, They serve burritos, tortas, quesadillas, cemitas, and of course tacos. For the littles they have cheese burgers chicken fingers, hot dogs, and cheese quesadillas. I highly recommend getting one of their fruit waters. I got a Lemon with cucumber and it was so delicious. mmmmm. They also have pineapple, melon, strawberry, and horchata, I ordered a birria taco and a chorizo burrito. It took them about 6 minutes toi have my food ready it was hot it was hot and fresh. It tasted good but I had a couple of issues with it. First, it did not come with any sauces/salsa. There may have been some available but I did not see them. I may have had to purchase them, but I am not sure. Either way, they should be included. My second issue was that even though my burrito was huge, it only had a small amount of chorizo. There was so little chorizo that I thought I had gotten the wrong burrito. As I mentioned, the food was good, but could have been a bit better. This is a decent option for some authentic Mexican food and I recommend checking this place out if you get the chance. read more

Once again I was delighted with my meal. Seeing it was National Burrito Day I was compelled to celebrate. This time I switched from Lengua to Cabeza and hit a home run again. The burrito was delicious but the freshly grilled Scallion and Nopales (Cactus leaf) made for a superb addition! Combining this with the salsa bar takes this place to the top of the ladder. The service is always super friendly and they were able to accommodate my request for the Cabeza that wasn't listed on the burrito selections. My nephew joined me and he was duly impressed with the entire experience. The food I have ordered through Uber Eats was very good. Weirdly though, they don't seem to offer birria tacos through Uber Eats. That's what I want, and it's not there. The Uber Eats page is seemingly incomplete and has few if any photos, so it's hard to order what you want. I really wish they would improve that so I could order from them. my wife and i came in for a lite lunch, we ordered 3 tacos and some chips and guacamole. the food was just mediocre, but what upset us was I noticed that the prices on the electronic menu board didn't match the price on the receipt. it wasn't much $.45 cents for the tacos and about $.30 on the chips. so I asked just curious if they were aware, the owner and the cashier explained that I had used a card to pay, i said yes but it was a Debit card and i explained that it was against federal laws to charge a service fee on debit cards I suggested she google it. she got on her phone googled it and then called the POS company that installed the system google and the POS system company told her that it was against the law. i waited 30 minutes never received my refund. it's not the $.75 it's the principle and also how many people come in and pay with a debit card that they are screwing. read more

Food was amazing. I ordered Cemita Cubana a very big torta type sandwich. Ham, egg, hot dog, with avocado cheese and lettuce. There is a little salsa bar to get your own salsas and chile in vinagre. Aldo ordered a pig ear taco. Tasted just like los cueritos from carnitas. Wife ordered some tacos, cooked very well with and paired good with the salsas. They have a variety of aguas frescas.
