Just what an ice cream shop should be! Lots of flavors, lots of options, quick friendly service, and an easy going vibe. I tried the chocolate Martini something or other. It was creamy and had just the right amount of coffee flavor. Next time I'm going to get the Zanzibar chocolate. Darkest chocolate ice cream ever! Styrofoam bowls or choose a cone. Plastic spoons. Some seating outdoors, nothing special, just some tables and umbrellas set up in the parking lot. We sat outside and watched the cars go by. Try a scoop or two. Numerous vegan flavors made with oat milk...not your plain jane run of the mill flavors either (more like Ben & Jerry's non-dairy flavors but of course not Ben & Jerry's)! Each vegan flavor was full of flavor and the best in town! Prices were very good too. There was 1 person working and 12 customers in line so it took awhile. Despite being severely understaffed, the female employee was doing her best and was efficient. It has a very plain Jane look on the inside (clean...just undecorated). After seeing many great pics, one being of the Brownie Overload Extreme Milkshake, my husband really wanted some ice cream. I went and grabbed some for him from this spot. It was a very difficult ice cream stop, as a lot of items that are on their website they didn't have. Here's what we got: --Bubble Cone with Strawberry Cheesecake scoop and Cookie Butter Crunch scoop. --Bubble Cone with Cookie Dough scoop and Honey Lavender scoop. The ice cream had a nice flavor, but did not travel well. I would definitely recommend eating this at the store. Also, there's more cone than ice cream. My husband ended up throwing the large bubble cone away because it was too much and soggy by the time it got home. The cones are made to order so it's super hot, mix it with the cold ice cream and .. well, you get it. They had absolutely no Extreme Milkshakes available, though there were no signs about it being out of stock. Only thing that was being offered were ice cream scoops and the bubble cones. Some of the ice cream signs were incorrect so when I asked for a flavor I was told the sign was wrong and it was another flavor. Prob won't visit again as we are more traditional sugar cone with larger scoops of ice cream people. $15 for 2 cones was a bit much. read more

Restaurant Update **BEST ICE CREAM FORT WAYNE**. This continues to be my favorite go to ice cream shop in Fort Wayne. Super friendly service and so many excellent flavors to choose from. This time we got to try the flight of 6 ice cream and it is the best! You don't have to wonder which flavor you can try because you can get 6 of them. As mention before, the parking lot is very tight especially when it gets busy, but other than that, during covid they are doing a good job of moving people through the shop and you can eat in your car or outside on the patio! New to Ft Wayne. Learning there are not a lot of vegan places/options at places. Found this online and saw they have 5 dairy-free flavors and was excited as that is the most I've ever seen at a place that wasn't all vegan. They had 3 when I went, I assume they rotate them. Great prices, cheapest I've ever seen, at any ice cream shop, and I've lived in other states and even cheaper than the other shops in town. I got the butter pecan and chocolate (almond milk derivative). Trying in that order, the pecan was good. It had a nice, creamy consistency. I have eaten better, but it was a good alternative to traditional dairy. BUT nothing could've prepared me for the chocolate almond milk flavor. Had I not ordered them myself, I would not have believed the two flavors came from the same establishment. The chocolate almond milk was like finely crushed ice, with chocolate flavoring. It out the ice in ice cream... I've had some non-dairy ice cream before that was not very creamy, but still edible. The decor is adorable and the staff has been able to recommend flavor options and let us sample a few flavors each time we've been. Speaking of flavors, I can't go 5 stars here. Each time we've been they've been out of a lot of the flavors. Last time we even went early and they were already out of the, out of this world, Zanzibar Chocolate. They recommended another option my hubby made work for the night and same for me. Prices are super reasonable compared to some other parlors I've been in. This is a late review from October, but I wanted to say how much I loved the ice cream. I ordered a flight which you get a total of six scoops of your choice. They also asked if I wanted waffle chips with my ice cream and I said yes. Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the ice creams I got in my flight. I love the coffee ice cream and the raspberry and lemon Italian ice. That was the one I really wanted. The next time I am back in Fort Wayne I will be visiting this place again. Just Cream is a cute shop with a variety of flavors and a unique offering of bubble bowls and cones which were essentially freshly made waffles molded into bowl or cone shapes. I really liked ice cream flight option - you chose 6 scoops to sample. However, one of my annoyances was that the flavors were not listed anywhere so you have to walk the length of the freezers, past waiting customers and back to see what all was available and because I was concerned about getting in their way I felt a bit rushed. A posting or sheet of flavors would be much appreciated. The majority of the scoops we sampled were really flavorful - the lemon meringue was a hit. One of the scoops was to have pretzels and I believe we found two pretzels total so there was a bit of inconsistency. read more

This is my go to ice cream spot in town!! You can not beat the amount of flavors and option for the price. $2.50 for not just one but two scoops and they are BIG scoops. This place is amazing. I don't even live in Fort Wayne anymore but whenever I am in town I make sure to drop by here before leaving. The decor is cute and simple. I love the wall color and wooden tables. My go to flavors are kitty kitty bang bang and this s*** just got serious. They are so delicious. I would also get it on a sugar cone. If I remember correctly the waffle cones are the ones that would have a price difference, cake and sugar cones are at no extra cost. They also make crazy insane milkshakes here that is definitely instagram worthy. I haven't ordered one yet because I know I wouldn't be able to finish it all but if you have a group of friends or family sharing it shouldn't be a problem. This place does get busy on weekends or certain part of the day but the line does move pretty fast. Also the workers are willing to let you sample any flavors you might want to try. This is my go to ice cream place. They even offer gluten free ice cream. My favorite is the "exhausted parent" which I believe is like coffee, chocolate and bourbon. They offer regular cones, bowls and waffle cones. The prices are very reasonable. My kids love it and my wallet loves it. read more

I finally got to try Just Cream after much anticipation from seeing an abundance of social media pics. What attracted me to the north side of Fort Wayne? 50 flavors. Oh - and Intelligentsia coffee. We arrived just after 1pm on Sunday. They had just opened for the day and we were the only ones in there. A few minute passed and it started to get busy! The 50 flavors took us a while to browse (and taste) through. SO MANY OPTIONS. One of my favorite samples was the raspberry sorbet. So refreshing. Great summer flavor. I ended up opting for a mini (which is two scoops) and I was able to choose two different flavors. I went for blueberry cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake. I chose those blindly without trying and the strawberry was definitely more my type of flavor. The portion was decent and can't complain for $2 and some change. Not huge scoops but not too small either. I did opt for a bowl and not the added charge for a cone. PS - kids get a free scoop. So my niece and nephew were in heaven. They are 3 and 1.5 years old so not sure on the cut off for that. Everyone else I was with seemed pleased with their selections. They also offer a variety of milkshakes, (substitute milk for coffee!), sundaes, etc. The inside isn't huge but has more tables than I expected. I didn't see any outdoor seating but not sure if a table or two will eventually make its way out there. Decor was cute and I loved the flowers on each table! Overall the ice cream wasn't anything special but I will definitely be back. Especially for a coffee or coffee ice cream milkshake. Another PS - the bourbon ice cream tastes like straight bourbon. It's a cute little place and I loved the ice cream flight. The prices definitely reflect what you are getting though. The dairy free choice were little and the one I tried didn't have a pleasant taste to it. The other flavors I tried were good though some had a tad too much of overpowering flavors. For example one was supposed to have salted caramel in it but there was too much salt making it hard to taste anything else. Despite that most of the flavors were still good and for the price I was happy enough. I don't think I would choose to go out of my way to go back but if I was in there area I don't think I would mind. read more

We came here to try out and support a local business. Parking lot isn't huge but well taken care of and hard to find a spot when it's busy. Store is decorated shabby chic and is very clean. Staff is exuberant and young! Wish I had those days back! Lol Ice cream is in two freezer cases and the flavors are marked on the case and on the wall. I'm not sure if they make their own but it's standard presentation as far as ice cream goes. They have a list of toppings you can add, choice of what you want your ball of frozen cream to be in and of course they offer shakes and these huge wonderful sundaes that cake to life from about of sundae creations from the owner. They are magnificent to look at and cause my teeth to ache as well. We didn't get one Instead we chose a couple of different scoops, after tasting a couple, and settled on a sugar and standard cone. Prices were decent and lower than I expected. The ice cream was creamy and melted quick but it wasn't over the top or special. Same as any boutique ice cream joint in the area. What a cute little ice cream place! Entering the place is a little hard... be sure to enter thru the Allen County public library. They have a lot of varieties of ice cream. I got the coconut almond, yums! My bf had the "kitty kitty bang bang" which was delicious! They also have green tea for all the green tea lovers out there *me*! Milkshakes, sundaes, you name it - they have it all! Customer service was great and they're pretty fast too..considering how busy it got.
