Absolutely NOT!!! Me and My Wife went there to use the WiFi as it is as WIFI CAFE HELLOOOO! Somehow everyone in the cafe is using WiFi but when I get on it it doesn't work magically! The manager who I spoke with was rude as was talking back and saying why would I visit there to use the WiFi anyway! Greatest thing of all is I have her on audio acting like a rude snob!! When pop cafe first opened up, it was amazing, the staff are very friendly, you feel the "community", I even enjoyed their online content when they had that super nice content creator/manager. I continued coming here after she left, only because the owner, Peter, and the staff a few months ago were super attentive and nice. Today, I came in, noticed the menu changed a little so I was a little lost, the person that took my order seemed so annoyed that someone needed to order. Took my order with the straightest face, and he walked away as I was paying. I am not sure if he did not want to be there in general. Anyway, I think there's only one size of drink now, and the price went up a little. The drink I got tasted way sweeter than I remember. I'd definitely go back to this place to study. I went at around noon and there was plenty of tables with outlets and good study light. They have booth that could accommodate 4 people and big tables suitable for team work/collaboration. They offered free wifi for 4 hours/customer. We got 2 refreshers and we love how nice the tea smelled. The barista was very clear to give a heads up that drink with no ice wouldn't be filled up to the top, which wasn't a problem for me. Despite the stark white walls, it's definitely a vibes place. Pop Cafe is a Japanese cafe and pizzeria with late night hours and decent parking space in the plaza tucked away behind Mikiya and Tofu Hut. It's had some surprising rave reviews for the pizza but also a less than stellar Yelp average. I stopped in today to try a bit of everything. Chicken & Mushroom Pizza ($16.00): a promising pizza in a Neapolitan style. It's chewy but does have more dough on the edges than what I recall having at Vera Pizza Napoletana (read: certified authentic Neapolitan) designated restaurants. The chicken, mushroom, cheeses, and white sauce seem to be pretty decent quality, but there is a little too much salt in at least one of these components. And the chili flakes hit a little too hard at times too. Hojicha Latte ($7.50): requested as less sweet, which probably turned out as comparable to 25% sweetness. I personally would've preferred regular sweetness, so maybe I'll try it next time. I also wonder whether whole milk blunted some of the flavor or the excessive ice did. Yuzu ($7.00): billed as a lemonade currently and yuzu-ade before, but certainly expresses mostly yuzu notes. But it is a bit more dilute than I'd like and the huge amount of ice doesn't help. It also didn't help that was downing this more quickly than I'd hoped because of the salty pizza and the lack of complimentary water. The music is quiet and lends to an atmosphere of hushed voices, although the volume sometimes ramped up during my visit. It was really weird that the ice makes so much noise during stirring/mixing. Maybe using different ice cubes could help with this issue? Pop Cafe does have a promising food and drink program, but that's not why you should pick them. It seems fairly obvious in retrospect, but considering the signs posted up front that purchase is required for a table and Wi-Fi (4-hour time limit codes, by the way), and observing the relatively high prices of everything, this is more of a communal rental space for study, other productivity, or hangouts. It just so happens that you're getting better products than a Starbucks. read more

This is such a cute community cafe, with so many options for food and drink, ranging from Vietnamese coffee, matcha, hojicha, refreshers, pizza, and more. The prices are pretty average to high--a strawberry matcha was $8.50, and refresher was $7. However, the quality is pretty good! We also got the banana matcha, but I didn't love it because it had a very ripe banana taste which was a bit off putting. I honestly loved this place for the pizza and not the matcha. In order of my personal favorites: 1. Chicken Mushroom 2. Margherita 3. Prosciutto Kumo The chicken mushroom pizza came out the hottest and therefore, the cheese was the meltiest which made the pizza 2x better. The basil pesto drizzle on the margherita added so much flavor and I'm grateful it had that instead of the typical basil leaves. The prosciutto kumo seemed the most promising but the prosciutto tasted a bit off and tainted the flavor of the pizza. That said, the crust of every single one was perfect: mochi-like, slightly crispy, but thin. I found the concept of a cafe and pizzeria to be very unique so I opted to try the house shizuoka matcha latte as well. It was good, but tasted like the ones I make at home so nothing too special. So I've been here a few times and I wanted to give a good bit of time for the business to grow before I updated my review. Now let's see what's changed: Ambiance: The main area is filled with seating, booths and long tables alike. To my understanding, the booths are meant for minimum parties of 2 and the long tables are good for big parties or essentially shared seating. The tables along the outer walls are more for singles and maximum parties of 2. While I understand it, as someone who likes decent lighting to get things done it's a bit of a downside as the tables for singles have basic mood lighting a small lamp for the table. Cute for dates but not the best if you need to read. Service: The service was good. I waited a little for my order to be taken at the counter but once it was my drink came out fast and my pizza didn't take too much time. Food: I ordered a matcha latte extra sweet, a prosciutto kumo pizza and a cup of water. To be honest, it's the first time I've been charged for a cup of water in a while for I felt that I should include it to be transparent. The matcha latte was decent. I ordered it extra sweet but it didn't taste any different than the other times I've ordered so maybe I should be ordering extra extra sweet. The pizza was definitely the star as it should be. Vibes are great, drinks are not. We finally stopped by Pop Cafe on a free Saturday morning. I don't think social media captures how big this place is, which is something we were pleased with. They have great seating options for larger groups and for people who need bright light to work, as well as more private settings for smaller and less stimulating sit downs. We ended up having to sit in the darker area first since there was no more booth seating in the main area and eventually moved to a brighter booth -- I'm really curious about what this place used to be as it's such a unique layout. Moving onto the menu, pizza was tasty. It was a perfect share between two people for a light lunch. The drinks though, pretty awful in my opinion. I got the matcha strawberry and my bf got the hojicha banana. First sip of either drink, I had an immediate reaction as if tasting something sour. The fruit flavors were so tart, mixed in with strong earthy flavors, while also being mellowed out by milk, making for drink flavors that fought each other. Just terrible. We had to stop by somewhere else immediately after to wash out the flavor and memory of the drink. Wi-fi was also slow unless on a limited 2.5 hour lightning speed network, which we overheard an employee telling a customer was unable to be refreshed even with an additional purchase. Their new velvet milk has made the drinks so creamy. If you love soft, chewy pizza, you will love their pizza. Yes, they are pricey, but definitely worth your money. I love this cafe so much ! There's a dark area and light area perfect depending on what space you want to sit in. Theres a huge seating inside and there's a lot of people studying here. When this place first opened I would give it a 5/5, now it is a 0/5. Pizza is not good enough to be worth almost $20. The matcha was literally 75% ice in a standard small/medium cup size and there are no dairy free options for milk. (8$ matcha) The worst is that each person has to purchase something in order to get wifi (for a limited time), which is crazy because it's supposed to be a "study/community cafe)" also, wifi is literally free at every other cafe in vegas. So if 2 people share a pizza that means the other person has to make their own purchase in order to get wifi. How absurd!! I had to go and check this place out. This is my first time here. This is a great place for late night snack snacks especially the personal pizzas that they serve. They're open till 3 AM every day. It's hidden in the back behind a Korean barbecue all you can eat place. It's a small place lots of tables to sit down and eat or you can get your pizza to go like I did. I ordered mine online ahead of time and picked it up. It was ready when I got there hot and fresh. As you can see from the pictures, it's a little deceiving, but the pizzas are bigger than they seem. Pizzas are very cooked very well and very tasty. I got the prosciutto and the meat lovers. Both were excellent choices. I will be back to try more and maybe even a coffee next time. Woooow! This is officially my new favorite study spot, and they're open late!! Pop Cafe's got fiber WiFi! I love being able to play lectures and YouTube videos without any lag or buffering, especially since so many cafes in Vegas have unstable internet. Studying at home has usually been more convenient, but this place is now a top contender. I ordered the regular latte and was pleasantly surprised that they let me get oat milk without charging extra. The latte was also delicious! They're definitely catering to the lactose-intolerant crowd, and I appreciate that. Pop Cafe is super spacious, and the overall aesthetic feels classy and thoughtfully designed. The booth seating is comfy, with an outlet conveniently placed right at the end of the table. The space is well-ventilated and nicely air-conditioned, and with my noise-canceling headphones on, focusing was no problem at all. Pop Cafe is such a cute spot to snack on pizza and sip matcha! Their Tokyo Neapolitan Margherita pizza had a great crust - crispy edges with a nice chew. The sauce was well balanced, not too sour or salty. We added the hot honey drizzle, and that was the best 50 cents we've spent! Their cold drinks come with oat milk and not too sweet by default, which is a nice touch. We tried the strawberry matcha and the banana houjicha. The strawberry could've used a bit more "strawberry" flavor, but I believe they use real fruit, so it's understandable. The houjicha was earthy and smooth without any bitterness. We asked the cashier what toppings came on one of the pizzas, and she replied, "Sorry, I don't make the pizzas, so I don't know." I get not knowing every detail, but it felt like a strange response when we're just trying to order. The prices were also pretty steep. A canned soda was over $5, which felt a little crazy to me. The one thing I really did like was the space itself. The cafe has a great vibe, lots of seating, plenty of outlets, the music isn't blasting, and it's open late. I've attempted to visit Pop Cafe at least 5 times in the past few months, and have only been able to find space maybe twice. This cafe widely promotes themselves as a great study spot, but the lighting is incredibly dim for most tables and most of the tables sit 1-2 people max. They do not allow people to sit in the well-lit area where the big tables are unless you order food. Additionally, the wifi was no longer free and required an access code, which comes with a minimum purchase amount. This code is only valid for 2 hours, and only works for one device. They claim to offer free wifi but when I tried connecting, it wouldn't. Lastly, I came in with a mostly-finished boba drink from another shop + my water bottle, and after I'd sat down, the owner came up to me and bluntly stated "No outside drinks are allowed." in a very unwelcome tone. I have never been to a cafe where customers were charged for wifi use, and I'm from Southern California. If you want to pay LA prices for inconsistent and diluted matcha and drinks, then this is the perfect place. read more

Checked out this new cafe as I stumbled upon it on IG. This cafe is great for people who need to study or work as there's plenty of tables and seats. I got the premium Uji matcha latte and regular hojicha latte. Since they're still in soft opening phase, the matcha latte had some clumps on the bottom but the matcha still tasted high quality. I didn't get any sweetener since they don't have simple syrup as an option. The hojicha latte was pretty smooth and roasty which I liked. I wish they offered a 12oz size to go cause I think that is a perfect size. The service was pretty fast and I would come back again to try their other drinks/food. read more

Came here during their night market event. Strawberry matcha was not to my taste but that's okay. It tasted like two separate entities rather than one harmonious drink. The matcha was more watery than creamy which is why I didn't fancy it too much. I did enjoy their pizza however and I'm so glad to see a cafe pushing to stay open 24/7. Vegas is known as the city that never sleeps and this cafe is keeping that alive. It was VERY busy when I went but that was during an event so it was understandable of course. Lots pf seating areas and nooks! I wouldn't worry too much about seating unless tbey have an event going on. read more
