    Corn Beef Hash

This place is a MUST TRY! Service was amazing...drinks were topped off and service was proactive. I literally didn't have to ask for anything. My husband and I got lucky and got seated pretty quick! The ambiance was clean and had a Hawaiian theme. We ordered Corn Beef Hash, Loco Moco and short Hotcakes. All the food was fresh and flavorful! Also, the food was cooked perfectly! The food was reasonably priced and portions were very generous. We had plenty of leftovers to take home! We will definitely be back to try more!

Warm friendly service. Counter seating of 4 and about 10 tables (I think, don't exactly remember). Air condition and clean establishment. The waiter and waitress was helpful, friendly and courteous. We order the butter mochi hotcakes and a side of extra crispy bacon for breakfast. No syrup nor jelly needed. It was delicious with just butter and the bacon made it better. Then, for lunch (yes we returned on the same day) we ordered the loco moco with mushrooms and onions. It was delicious and the gravy was not salty. A big portion for us so yes we had leftovers albeit a very small portion (maybe 4 more bites but was too full to finish even this amount).

Kanani's Cafe on Rainbow and Robindale has been getting some attention in the Southwest area since opening about five months ago. It's a smaller restaurant, so expect a wait if you're coming on a weekend. We arrived a little before 11:30 on a Sunday morning and waited about 20 minutes for our party of four. While we waited outside, we checked out the menu so we would have an idea of what to order when we got seated. I don't recommend parties much larger than 4, although 6 is possible but it gets tighter. * Kanani's Famous Loco Moco $16 with added mushrooms $2 - This came highly recommended and we couldn't agree more. The homemade burger patty has some great flavor all on its own, so that's a big win there. It comes with two eggs your way, a scoop of mac salad, and a bed of rice. We aren't the biggest fans of mac salad and should have asked if they could replace it with something else. * Podagee Sausage Benedict $14 - The hollandaise sauce was really good and contrasted nicely with the saltiness of the sausage. * Butter Mochi Hotcakes $12 - Another dish that came recommended and we decided to keep it as is. (Options to add fruit, whipped cream, etc. are offered.). We liked it on its own and it doesn't really need any syrup. * Corned Beef Hash $14 - I ordered this based on the positive comments from reviews and was a tad disappointed. It's canned corned beef and I guess it was my mistake to assume it wouldn't be. It was fine, but wasn't exceptional or anything. There are probably more specialty options to choose from and I should have done that instead. We were definitely curious about the Malasada Hotcakes too as it comes highly recommended. We'll have to save that for next time. Service was good - Kolby has a lot of great energy and it comes across very easily. The whole team is serving up Aloha spirit with a smile. There is a 3% charge for credit cards, which it looks like more restaurants are passing on to customers.

Wow, wow, wow!!! So glad my friends from Hawaii who now live in Vegas told me about this spot. Reminded me of being back home... anyhoo let's get to the food.. I ordered the Hawaiian Kine with over easy eggs to put over my rice of course and Portuguese Sausage which is my favorite but hard to get in the mainland. The breakfast was amazing but the highlight was the pancakes because they were Malasada Pancakes.. for the people who don't know you gotta try it but it's dough fried covered with sugar.. I know I know doesn't sounds fancy but trust me it's amazing! This was a one of one type of pancake because I've never heard of any place doing this so good for them. Anyhoo, if you're around Rainbow Blvd be sure to stop by and give them a try. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

Arrived today around 11AM, it was pretty packed and busy! My brother and i were immediately greeted with everyone's aloha spirit. The menu and food options is very straight to the point catering to what they truly offer in every delicious way. My brother got the Kananis Famous Loco Moco, i got the Cheehoo omelette, and we shared Butter Mochi Hotcakes. From when they brought out the food to us almost finishing our food, my brother and i couldn't stop saying "OH WOW". I cannot wait take my son here, he would enjoy this restaurant! Butter Mochi Hotcakes - 10/10 - MUST HAVE ! Kananis Famous Loco Moco - Two 6oz beef patties, with eggs, rice, & mac salad - 8.5/10 Cheehoo Omelette - Portuguese sausage, peppers, jalapeno, cheese, and added onions with sides of tots and wheat toast - 8/10 Other than how delicious the food was, huge recognition to the staff! Their aloha spirit was really warm and welcoming! I would over hear the staff talking to other customers dining in and i love how social and kind everyone is. Personable conversations, to making sure everyone is doing well, if anyone needed anything, smiling, etc. The staff plus the delicious food made everything so enjoyable. We definitely need more of this light in the world! Overall, the restaurant itself is 10/10! Already excited to come back and share with my family and loved ones. Thank you for taking care of my brother and i this trip Kananis Cafe!

Omg!!! Had to return because the food is so ono. Looking for a delicious Loco Moco, Kanani's Cafe had got to be the best Loco Moco in Vegas. The meat is seasoned well and the gravy has a lot of flavor. Tupac says it's the BEST he's ever had. We added mushrooms and onions which was perfect however, I would recommend to keep the onions big instead of cutting it small. The mushrooms were yummy. Service is always awesome and the Mochi pancakes is always a hit. Not sweet but so good. Stop by and give them a try.

Noticed the raving reviews at Kanani's and we know why. The seating so well organized and wait staff are spot on. Ashley, our waitress was the best. She was so attentive, full of smiles and personable. Made us feel like we were being served at home and not forced service. She topped off our coffee at the right times and took away our plates just in time so we can prepare to have our dessert (butter mochi pancake). Down to the meal, let's just say, we ate 90% of it and took the rest back to Airbnb; it's that good. Would we come back? Absolutely! Excellent service, cozy great food, atmosphere and homey.

I love Loco Moco and this is my favorite Loco Moco in Las Vegas. The patties are homemade and you can really taste the freshness and all the flavors. When it's available please try their Butter Mochi Cake. Let's talk about their service, the attention to every diner is amazing. They are very friendly and stay on top of each table. Your cup of coffee and drinks will always be topped off. Tejia was so awesome. This is a true Gem for food and service.

The restaurant is a narrow space with a cute Hawaiian mural. The staff were very friendly and so welcoming. They were gracious in helping with the food selection. We ordered various dishes. It was a mom and son date out so the boys got beautiful French toasts and also the loco moco. No complaints and full belly's. The moms enjoyed various eggs like the Kalua pig eggs Benedict and omelette as well as the pineapple sausage scramble. We also shared a delicious mochi pancake that is amazing & didn't need a syrup. Overall, we will definitely be returning to enjoy the food and you should try it too.

Where to begin: located in a strip mall in the heart of Spring Valley on S Rainbow BLVD. All the food is delicious, I suggest you order plates and share. The malasada and mochi pancakes are HUGE.

Wow, this place embodies the Aloha spirit! I was so impressed by how busy it was, but the food was absolutely delicious. It's clear this is a family-owned spot, and you can taste the passion in every bite. Definitely a must-try if you're looking for a fantastic meal. We found our go-to spot when we are in Las Vegas. We are already planning our next visit! From the mochi and malasada pancakes to the passion drinks and kalua pig omelet. True Hawaiian style. The staff is amazing and have great personalities and reminded me of being back on the island. Great atmosphere!!!

Ok so wish I was able to sit inside and enjoy kanani's cafe but this was a pickup and go since my parents needed to go to the airport. Got the kalua pork benedict for my mom and got the mochi pancakes for myself. Let me say the pancakes were so light, but filled me up. Also the staff that I got to interact with quickly were kind to me, as well as everyone that showed up. Can't wait to stop and get the full experience

This restaurant is hands down amazing! My daughter and I have been coming here almost once a week and they have never disappointed us. We get something different every time we went and it wasn't planned. It was just what our cravings told us. We've had pancakes, corned beef hash, kalua quesadilla, breakfast burrito, eggs and bacon, Kanani burger, fries, chop steak...you get the picture. Every item just hits the spot. You really can't go wrong with anything you decide to get. They are all delicious. The one must have item that we both love and always get is: the gravy. We mix it with rice, dip our fries or burger in it, and even pour it over the quesadilla. It's that good and I highly recommend ordering a side of it to go with your meal. You'll thank me later. Everyone at Kanani's are amazing. They are all super chill, have lots of aloha and I never seen any of them stress when it gets a little crazy. This tells me, they are great people, love what they are doing and have pride in their brand. Please support local and give Kanani's Cafe a visit!

Second girl kept consulting her 3 other coworkers (cuz apparently it requires an act of congress to get the recipe together for hot milk + tea....) After a very entertaining series of events I was handed a drink and left. First sip in the car... COLD. CHUNKY. MILK. FROM. HOT. COFFEE. CUP. It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. The star berry one was so over powered by the red bean paste that is all you tasted! The ube one was absolutely a texture issue. It didn't pair well with the looked like sweetened Ricotta and some white liquid! This was a -10/10. I love ube but this was not good to me. Service was mediocre. U would never come back here!
