    Tres leche & crme brûlée
    Pammy N.

Came here on a Sunday around 3pm. There was no line & only a few things left. I got two things, the tres leche crème donut and the crème brûlée. Honest review crème brulee 5/10. And tres leche filled donut 7/10. Would I go back? Yes Would I get these again? No, I'd like to try other things

I tried the ube brioche donut, and the texture is more like a soft brioche dough than a soft donut. It was served cold and had a good amount of filling inside. It leans sweet, so it's definitely a good one to share with someone rather than eating the whole thing yourself. One donut came out to $4.34.

Purple Potato Bakery has the good goods! I've been here a couple times now on a couple different trips to Vegas and I keep coming back! Opened a few years ago, this Filipino bakeshop has a ton of ube goods to satisfy your purple baked good needs. The Ube Tres Leche Cake is fun and full of flavor. The Ube Brioche donut is also highly recommended. Ube cheese bars, ube velvet cookies, ube crinkle cookies, ube cheesecake and even ube lattes! Yep, they have you covered for all the yammy treats. To be clear, they have so much more than just ube items like other donuts and flans. As a chocoholic, my favorite is their chocolate fudge brownie. Very indulgent and I'm all about. I'll definitely be back when in LV!

    Next time.

I have had a few friends recommend Purple Potato and I'm glad they did. I stopped in on the way home from an appointment. Choices, choices. After looking for some time, I got a leche flan polvoron brioche dougnnut and a Berry Basque burnt cheesecake. They were carefully placed in separate plastic containers and traveled nicely home. I had the doughnut for lunch. Very good tasting--rich with good filling. After dinner, I had the Berry Basque burnt cheesecake. This was also top notch. I will be stopping more often here. I need to try their ube offerings as I like ube things quite a bit.

Impressive milk cheese rolls and ube tres leches! Their donuts sell out fast so I just got what was left over at the end of the day - and it did not disappoint! Not too sweet!

A friend recommended Purple Potato Bakery & Café, and since my life basically revolves around sweets, I had to check it out. Filipino-owned with a display case full of tempting baked goods, it immediately caught my attention. I went with the leche flan polvoron brioche donut and the pistachio chocolate layered donut. Both had just the right amount of sweetness--not overpowering--and the creamy filling was the real winner for me. Fresh, balanced, and satisfying. Would I go back? Absolutely! Salamat!!

I came across this place and thought this would be a good idea for a pastry to celebrate my son's 2nd month. I was so excited because I love ube that I got a cheesecake and a donut!! They had plenty to choose from for desserts!! They were so delicious my oldest son devoured the donut!! Such a cute place to enjoy ube if you're a fan!!

This was a fantastic find after lunch. They carry mostly ube pastries, everything from ube bars, to cakes and donuts. The interior is very simple: A few seats with minimal artwork on the walls. When we walked in, there was a distinct smell of durian, but we didn't see any. The gal that helped us was very nice. She was patient while we looked over the display case and offered descriptions of what they have. We tried a few items we've never seen elsewhere before: pistachio croissant. Flaky with a bit of pistachio cream inside. Not heavy or buttery, topped with chocolate chips. Flan Creme brûlée brioche donut was very good. Light, filled with cream but not very sweet, topped with a crispy sugar topping. Delicious. Blueberry cream brioche donut was a bit sweeter and heavier, but still good. Mornjng was overpowering and not like the typical American style donuts where it's just way too sweet. There's a shared parking lot so finding a spot shouldn't be hard. And their signage stands out so it's easy to locate. I'll be going back to try some other items.

Service was good. The cashier was very friendly and pleasant. The door sucks, we almost didn't go in because we thought they're already out of business. The donuts looks beautiful! But the taste didn't really standout. Like the ube one didn't really taste like ube. The crème brûlée was a bit weak.

Good Filipino pastry's, prices are affordable. Got to get there early as some of the popular items sell out quick. Nice workers and very helpful. They also sell drinks but we didn't try any this time. Looking forward to try more stuff next time

My first time trying Purple Potato! They have an amazing selection of Filipino-inspired pastries & desserts, but I only got to try their classic Chocolate Chip Levain cookie! Soooo yummy, not too sweet and baked chewy on the inside and a little crunchy on the edges. 5/5 The cashier was sooo sweet! She told me her recommendations for other cookies and desserts which I will def try next time!! service 5/5 There is a nice sitting area outside to eat and drink in this nice weather but it is not in the nicest area

Ask the Community - Purple Potato Bakery

Do they actually bake with purple potatoes or is it just a fun catchy name?

We use a lot of UBE (purple yam) in our pastries, donuts and cakes.

Is this the former space of Jo's Malasadas? Any affiliation?

Yes former space. No affiliation. Purple Potato is far better.

Posting question for owners. Do these goodies keep well? I would love to take some goodies to my fam in California. We are traveling Tuesday so we would have to buy Sunday.

Hello! Filled donuts are suggested to be kept in the fridge if they’re not consumed on the same day since we don’t use any preservatives, pastry cream based is safer in the fridge. But cookies, crinkles should be ok outside. Thank you :)

We came around 11 am on a Friday and it was busy. They serve pizza, donuts, beignets, coffee and drinks. We purchased two slices of the pickle pizza and omg that was one of the best pizzas ever. My husband loved it as much as I did. Now the donuts .... first of all I don't eat donuts often maybe once every few years cause it gives me instant heartburn and I don't like the heavy oil aftertaste. We got a few donuts (I don't remember the names) and they all tasted amazing. Fresh, soft, no bad oil aftertaste and honestly so light that it didn't feel like we are eating donuts. I loved the creme brûlée so much that I ended up getting more from the Cafe Lola at the Caesars Palace the next day lol. It didn't give me any heartburn. It is so delicious you must try it. This shop is small and doesn't have a lot of seating so it felt very tight and crowded. So we got the donuts and the pizzas to go. Overall the best donuts I ever had. I can say that without doubt...

We got there right before 12 on a Sunday and the line was out the door because the place is tiny. We were glad it moved fast however, once inside they only had a selection of 3 classic flavored donuts and they were wrongly labeled. We thought "they close at 9pm for sure they will be bringing out more, it's barely noon" Nope! We felt totally scammed and in disbelief that Saint Honore Doughnuts and Beignets does not prepare to meet supply and demand even after a big concert for which a lot of tourists are in town. I asked the cashier if they would bring out any more donuts given that they close late and she very sarcastically said "no, we sell pizza and a lot of people order our pizza" Mind you, there was no more pizza by the slice to order either. You would think that a place that promotes itself to sell "doughnuts and beignets" and lists it in their name would actually sell that for most of the day right? I guess they're a pizza parlor after the donuts run out ‍ Skip it unless you're there for the pizza that a lot of people order lol The "classic donuts" were good and the seasonal fruit tart too. I'm just not sure I would wait in line again, especially after the sarcasm with the side of disappointment we were served.

We stopped by the location on Blue Diamond Rd, and WOW--the donuts were amazing! They looked beautiful, tasted fresh, and had such unique flavors. Definitely a little pricey, but I have to admit, they were worth the splurge! I especially wanted to try the Dubai Donut, and it did not disappoint. However, there was some confusion during our order that I wish the staff had explained better. We ordered a box of 6 donuts and included the Dubai Donut in our selection. The lady helping us did not explain that the Dubai Donut was a separate purchase and was NOT counted as one of the 6 donuts. When we paid, we were charged for the box of 6 PLUS an additional $10 for the Dubai Donut. Had we known that, we would have picked 6 regular donuts for the box and purchased the Dubai Donut separately. Instead, we essentially paid for 6 donuts plus the Dubai Donut, even though we thought the Dubai Donut was part of our box. My only suggestion would be for the staff to clearly explain which specialty donuts are priced separately and which ones are included in the box, especially for first-time customers. A little clarification would definitely prevent confusion at checkout. The good: Amazing donuts, beautiful presentation, unique flavors, and definitely worth trying! The not-so-good: Pricey, and the ordering/pricing could have been explained better. Overall, I really enjoyed the donuts and would still come back to try more flavors. Just make sure to ask about the pricing before choosing your box, especially if you're eyeing one of their specialty donuts! Donut rating: 9/10

I'd recommend bringing others so you can try as many flavors as possible and get a few pictures as the decor as a bit of an "Instagram-able" vibe.
