I was a little nervous about someone coming to the house to fix the screen in my phone. The whole idea of someone coming to you, fixing your broken screen with competitive pricing sounded a little too good to be true! But it worked! I scheduled same day online, very easy. The tech was very friendly and personable... and put up with my kids watching what he was doing over his shoulder. Truly horrible experience. I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come look at my oven over a month ago. The first appointment was cancelled twice. On the third time, the technician did show up and said he would look up to see if replacement parts were available. Myself, as well as the team at Puls were unsuccessful in reaching him for weeks. Puls then sent a second technician who showed up over 5 hours late at 10:30PM. After over a week, I received a text at 2AM from him saying he couldn't find any parts, but did not provide any additional information on what was actually wrong with the oven. Puls then decided to schedule a third appointment, which was supposed to be yesterday. No one showed up, and I did not receive any notification. Done. read more

We have previously used Puls and had a fine experience. This, time, however, I am absolutely disgusted. When our refrigerator went out, we decided to use Puls instead of others because they were able to come the next day, or so they said. Well, they have now rescheduled us 3 TIMES. And no one has responded to our emails at support. As you can imagine, when it comes to refrigerator repair, time is of the essence as it is very difficult to live without a refrigerator. Meanwhile one of the other companies could have already come out, but because we scheduled with Puls instead of them, it will now take us even longer to get an appointment with another company. This bait and switch tactic is unacceptable and a horrible business practice. One reschedule I could understand, but 3? Come on! read more

If I could, I would give no stars. They waisted our whole weekend waiting on them to never show up for any appointments. First appointment was from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, they showed up at noon, at the wrong house and left when they got no answer. They took it upon themselves to reschedule the appointment between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Never showed for that appointment. Rescheduled for the next day between 12:00 and 1:00 PM, my husband called at 1:45 PM to be told you can always cancel the appointment if you don't want to wait. Very unprofessional. read more

I read all the warnings and STILL decided to go ahead and book this PULS to come do an emergency fix on my company's two dead refridgerators. I called at 9AM and was told they would be here between 2 and 3 which was fine. Given the warnings I should've known better. Great concept but don't buy into their bogus 100% satisfaction guarantee. This is not a local business. They hire nice local technicians to do their work. But they use cheap after market parts and can't deliver the repair quality that is really needed. Had a cracked iphone screen replaced. The screen didn't work right and was dark even at the brightest setting. They replaced the screen with another useless screen. The customer service process was a joke. Would only refund 50%. Total waste of time and money. Do your self a favor and find a good local shop that uses real parts like Nova Fix. read more

Incredibly frustrated working with Puls. I hired them to fix my dishwasher and on the say the days of the inspection, the tech was over two hours late as he was overbooked by Puls. He made it and we set up a follow up appointment for Monday. Come Monday, I have not heard from the tech or Puls on if they are indeed coming that day. I take the day off of work as this was what we discussed in person, and the tech does not call me back. Come Tuesday, I call Puls to ask what is going on. They say that they cannot reach my tech but will call me back. They never called back. Come Wednesday, I get an automated e-mail for a time I didn't even agree to for Thursday but decide to take work off as I would really like my dishwasher to be fixed. I put in another PTO day. Come Thursday, I am cancelled on at 2:40 PM as the part they ordered had not arrived and I am now out another PTO day. Finally, I receive the invoice by e-mail that has $100 for parts listed on it. Little did Puls know, the Tech showed me the rubber seal I needed listed for $11 online to purchase as a factory replacement part. I can understand the labor cost at $117 per hour but at least be honest about the part cost (not 10x the cost). I don't think I have seen this level of unreliability in a long time. It's not hard to let someone know what is going on. It would have taken their customer service center a few minutes to provide an update during the week, but that was apparently not possible. They sent me a 40% discount [to use within 48hrs] which came right when i needed a repair, so i called in and booked within the time frame, and they said the 40% will be applied. Later, they CANCELED my appointment two days in a row [how convenient] and said the 40% cannot be applied anymore, the time frame expired. NEVER USING AGAIN. read more

They provided a complimentary screen replacing to make the situation right. The technician they scheduled still showed up past the schedule period (11:15am for a 10am-11am slot), and the tech charged my card, but the replacement went well and I appreciate a company that will try to make things right. read more

DO NOT USE FOR IPHONE SCREEN REPAIR. It is hard to explain how TERRIBLE my experience was with this company. It took multiple appts before someone actually showed up to service a broken screen on my Iphone7. The phone work normally until after they replaced the screen. After the replacement the following things started to happen. 1. The screen from time to time wont allow you to click on anything. I have to restart the phone to get it to work again. 2. Cant make or receive calls as I cant hear people on the other end and they cant hear me. Given those issues I now have to go buy a brand new phone. They offered a $30 refund. They said its unrelated to replacing the screen but started happening that same day. I would never use this company again and urge anyone thing of it NOT to use their service as they will break your phone and do nothing about it. Update: After posting this review, I received an email and call from the company offering to honor my warranty. Unfortunately, after repairing the cracked screen for the second time and fixing what they explained was LCD damage (which did not exist prior to the initial repair), I am now experiencing sticky keys/difficulty typing and texting that did not exist prior. They again offered to honor the warranty but at this point I do not have time for a third repair that will likely lead to another new issue. I have used multiple phone repair companies in the past and this is the first time I have ever experienced this string of problems. Proceed with caution. read more

Wow. Our appointment was rescheduled three times because they could not find anyone to come out. When the tech FINALLY arrived (2 hours late) he did not have with him the proper equipment or batteries for his stud finder. We gave him batteries, but he explained he had to go buy a new mount which took him 2 hours to do even though we live within 5 min of Best Buy, Target, Costco etc.. He also damaged our wall by using a screw driver to mark where the tv should be mounted instead of a pencil. We ended up having to cancel our appointment because what should have been a 10am appointment turned into a 3pm appointment and our tv was not mounted and our tech was no where to be found. Save yourself the time and frustration and DO NOT use Puls. We just booked with Best Buy. read more

My repair professional, Mo, arrived on time (even called to confirm he was on the way) and got the job done inside of 30 minutes. Competitively priced at $59 before taxes. The second the screen was put on and I turned on the phone I was unhappy. This is a knock-off screen and extremely poor quality. Nicholas (the technician) was great. I asked him to take off the screen and put the original but he was unable to stay. I then was told that you will fix the problem. I was very uncomfortable paying after the service was complete. And I paid only because I was assured a refund. Which I was later told is not true. I told them they can have this screen back. I would rather have my cracked screen than this one. The color is horrid and it hurts my eyes completely. I am regretting ever working with them. If I knew it was going to be a terrible replacement I would have gone elsewhere. I don't understand why you wouldn't just charge me more and give me a quality product. The screen is thicker it sticks out. I don't want it to "do the job" I want it to be a quality screen like the one I am paying you to replace. I have options when choosing and I will make sure to spread the word for no one to use this service. Email to PLUS: I have still not gotten a return call which I initially asked for in response to the service I received. I called probably 20 times and so did Nicolas when he was at my house. The only reason I paid was that you didn't answer, he had to leave, and I was assured I would get a full refund if I was unhappy. I do not want a half refund I wanna full refund. You can have the screen back. I would feather not have a phone then use this screen. You put me in a position where I was pressured into paying for this when I did not want to. I would call this a scam. I will report you to the BBB and do everything I can to share what you guys are doing. You can send someone out to give me a new quality screen or you can give me a full refund. If the new screen is still terrible quality then I will request a full refined. So it is up to you. Either issue me a full refund or send someone out then give me a refund when we confirm this is a scam. I'm sure every one of your products is this poor of quality. Because that is what your technician said. "It gets the job done, that's why it's so cheap because they are poor quality." Next time your company should think about actually making customers happy and not trying to scam people with these bulk order s*** screens. The only reason you will only refund me half is because you pay the technician half and you don't want to take that loss because I know the screens probably only cost you $5. Again, please refund my entire amount of $64.70 or I will do everything I can to tell everyone how much of a scam this is. Also, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company because this is an unlawful charge because you are scammers. The screen has currently stopped working and the touch sensitivity is off and every time I press down it changes color and I can not use the pressure touch. You can come pick up the screen tonight. Also, remember the only reason I was pressured into paying was that I was told I would get a full refund today. I asked Nicolas to remove the screen he installed but he had to be at another location. You can track the person coming to help you online so you know when they'll arrive. Wes was efficient and friendly while mounting my very heavy TV. Cellsavers is a genius concept. I put a request in late night and by the morning there was a follow-up text letting me know that they technician would be assigned to me for the time I requested. I was running errands at the time of my appointment and the tech offered to meet me wherever I was! Marty , my tech was very personable and professional. Within 30 minutes I basically had a brand new iPhone, with a new battery, camera, and screen. My repair was 179 but it was well worth it for the convenience alone. I completely smashed the screen on my IPhone 6, and in order to replace it would have cost between $600-$700. I looked online and found various places that could fix the screen, but I had to schedule time and take it in to them. I then saw cellsaver, I filled out the form online and had an immediate response that someone would be out within 1 hour to my home to fix it. The person showed up in 30 minutes and was extremely professional and was a pro. He mentioned he had previously worked at Apple and was very familiar with the process of removing and replacing the screen. It took him about 30 minutes and my phone screen was completely brand new. I couldn't have asked for better service and the $100 to fix it was well worth it! Highly recommend this company and service. They deserve less than one star, horrible customer service. Never got my washing machine fixed by them because no one showed up, twice, and a call was not received either time to say the technician was late or not coming. They send you emails with a technicians name then when no one shows up and you call, they claim they will reschedule right away or claim they don't have a record of sending the confirmation email even though you're looking right at it. How would I know the technician's name unless they sent it to me. Played cat and mouse with them for two days before calling a more reputable service. If I contact you Monday, just say you don't have anyone available until Friday, don't have me waiting for someone on Tuesday and Wednesday then Wednesday say someone can come Friday, total disregard for my time read more

Very good and frustratingly poor. Like all of you, I though his was a terrific idea: have someone pop over to where you are and fix your phone while you get on with other parts of your life. Cellsavers were excellent in responding to my request, scheduling a time slot and getting me to a point where I had a working phone back in my hand. I smugly slunk back to my couch feeling like I had made a smart choice. I couldn't have been more wrong. Unfortunately, my screen had a glaring white hot-spot, the colors were muted compared to other iPhones, the screen was buggy (when scrolling one-handed, it would zoom on it's own; sliding for numbers in passwords never worked) the accuracy was terrible and I made a lot of goofy auto-corrects that I'd never made before. How embarrassing. Furthermore, this screen cannot be read using Polaroid sunglasses unless turned 90 degrees. Seriously. It's summer people. It turns out that no one can put a genuine Apple part in your phone. I don't blame Cellsavers for this but saying "we don't say we use genuine OEM parts" is deceptive. By the way, that's how their customer support put it. What's misleading is implying that you'll have a phone that works EXACTLY how you had it from day one. That's never going to happen. Admittedly, customer support agreed they couldn't fix my phone and future attempts would never meet my expectations from a usability and quality perspective so they issued me a refund and saved me time getting my cc company on the phone. So: BUYER BEWARE. Understand that you're not getting a perfect repair and you'll be happy...or comfortably numb. The only reason they get a two is because they were responsive and admitted my observations were true. Otherwise, it would have been -1 for deceptive business practices. read more

I had a good experience. My old gas oven wasn't heating beyond 250 degrees. I'm giving four stars instead of five because first technician didn't show up and I had to call to learn what was happening. They said it was due to "unforeseen circumstances," but to be fair, there was snow and sleet that day which made driving treacherous. They credited me $20 towards the next appointment, which was two days later, on a holiday. The second technician showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly, and my oven is working fine. I dropped my iphone the other day, did a little research on prices for both fixing it myself and bringing it somewhere. After realizing it would be about $50 to order a new screen with camera/ear piece (cuz that's recommended), I searched for places that could fix it. Many other places wanted $99, and apple was at $150 or something crazy. I found CellSavers on yelp, checked out their website - their cost was $79 and they come to you! I was able to book an appointment online, and they were at my house 3 hours later. Matt did a great job and now I have my phone back to normal. Definitely would recommend! read more

I should start by saying I have never ever written a yelp review, as I've never been driven to such frustration to be compelled to write one... Working with Puls has been one of the most frustrating experiences. The idea is good - they come to you to fix your phone. They have all the bells and whistles - customer service that texts you, but their internal system has no way of keeping your case with just one representative. I found myself talking to various different people who didn't seem to have any idea about all the other conversation I had been having with support representatives. It made me feel as if I was not actually in their system. Down to the repair: My tech was 2.5 hours past my appointment. His name was Alexander... if you get him, please beware. He is more than happy to leave you high and dry once breaking your phone. As he worked on my phone, he failed to tell me that he had severed the connection to the home button. He then said he had ordered a new home button for my phone and that we would meet up again the next day once it had been delivered to fix the phone. He rescheduled on me 4 times, and then stopped responding to my inquiries as to where he was, however he kept promising he "had every intention of getting this fixed for me". The phone screen he put on made all colors have a blue-ish tinge. When I called support, I was granted a "guarantee call", whatever that means... it doesn't seem to mean much. They sent out a tech who told me that on an iphone 7 when the home button break there is nothing you can do to fix it. I am waiting to hear back from their support as to how to proceed, but as of right now, I have a broken home button, a messed up screen, and absolutely no acceptable response or communication from Puls. PLEASE BEWARE. The bottom line is, I called them to fix my phone, and all they did was leave it in a worse state that it was before, with no proposition to replace my iphone with a new, fully functional one. Incredibly distressing experience making it hard to trust their claims to be "certified & vetted technicians". I'd like to see these certifications and also a demonstration that action was taken against the tech who royally ruined my phone. I should state that their customer service folks are great, but that their techs need some serious work. read more
