Ok so get this little weird bit of info you probably never knew. A BBQ propane tank is called…read more20lbs. But full it weights 38.7lbs. It's not because there is 20 lbs of propane or because the empty tank weights 20lbs (but it's pretty close). It is because if the tank was filled to 100% it would hold 20lbs. However you never fill a propane tank 100%. 80-85% is typical. So if you buy 20lbs of propane here you actually get about 17lbs. Sounds like something is fishy no? It isn't. This is actually a good deal. Strong'd charges $23 for 17lbs. If you do the propane tank exchange think it costs $28 plus tax and you really only get 15lbs. The pain part is they do not always fill propane tanks. They have limited hours because only some of the employees can fill the tanks. I really felt like I was getting ripped off when I noticed my propane tank says 15lbs but they just charged me for 20lbs. After further research I am happy to report a good deal. And I fortunately didn't make to big of an a55 of myself.

I pass the shop daily on my way to work and was curious about the place. I always see a lot of cars there. So I recently called for a service appointment. Andrew is very nice and articulate on the phone. That is my 1st impression of a good company. The person who answers the phone is usually the face of the company. He's got a good face. He has a sense of responsibility and pride for the technicians that work for the company and I could tell that by how he spoke about them. The technicians are very detailed, they show you photos of what they are inspecting and give you a lot of information. For me it's great as I have a mechanical background so I understood everything that was pointed out. I felt confident that my truck was thoroughly looked at. I came out of the car, I saw the attendant pulling the wire connecting the door. He said that it's broken and that I should get it fixed. I panicked b/c he broke it and he was going to take the door out exposing the opening to my gas pump. He forced to door to close and I drove away. Before I left, I told him that he broke it and kept denying it. Well, I went to my auto repair guy b/c I could not open the door so I can gas up. It was shut close. He fixed the issue and it cost me $387. He told me that the attendant broke the switch that opens the door. These people are liars and not honorable. I would never go back there again. Beware! PS. I took my vehicle to this shop based on their positive Google reviews, hoping to find a reliable…read moreplace near my new job. I was told my brakes and tires needed replacing, and as I commute long distances I wanted to make sure my vehicle was well equipped to handle winter conditions on the LIE. After my inspection was finished, I was quoted $1,079 for the brake replacement, new tires and the inspection, but when I went to pick up my car, I was charged in two installments (as the repairs took place on separate days) and the total was nearly $1,400--almost $320 more than what I was told the total would come out to be. To make matters worse, they removed my front license plate covers and replaced them with their own advertising covers without asking for my permission. Not only was I upset by the unauthorized advertising on my vehicle, but they also put my front license plate on upside down. (See attached photo for proof.) The final straw was hearing my brakes grinding after they had supposedly replaced them. This was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling taken advantage of. I had hoped to find a trustworthy auto shop for future service needs close to work, but instead, I feel like this place took advantage of my situation as a young woman needing an inspection. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend you get a second opinion before trusting this business with your vehicle.
