We hosted my son's 4th birthday party at Pump it Up and it was a major success! We are a Covid cautious family. Parties at Pump it up are 100% private and that gave us a lot of comfort. The party started at two play arenas and later moved to a party room where the kid enjoyed pizza, cake and drinks. We were really impressed by how huge the play arenas are. Each arena has multiple jumpers and slides with different height. There is a also a rock climbing wall for older kids. All the kids in our group (age from 2 to 9 years old) had a blast! My daughter had her birthday party at Pump It Up in Belmont last weekend. She and a small group of family and friends (a total of 9 kids) ranging in ages from 5 - 10 years old all had a wonderful time. There are two play arena areas, and they enjoyed both of these areas. The play areas, and the party room were both clean and colorful. In addition to the inflatable play structures, they really enjoyed the rock climbing wall in one of the rooms. The birthday party package included the party favors. It was nice that they had options that would be suitable for all ages (my daughter picked the water bottle favor, which was great for the kids of all ages). For the time in the party room, the Pump It Up staff served the food (pizza and cake) to the kids and cleaned up after them. They really made everything very easy. We would definitely consider having another party at Pump It Up someday. read more

So came here for a birthday party and seen how dirty the place is. They start off by making everyone watch a safety video before entering the rooms. Got into the 1st room and there were 3 large sections of inflatables to play with. Going on 2 out of the 3 one can see a whole bunch of dirt that wasn't cleaned for at least months. Room 2 was worst. One of the inflatables was made so high that a younger child from the party got stuck and couldn't climb up. Had to help that kid while other kids kept pushing from behind not knowing what was going on due to blind corner. Then ended up getting burns on my arm from sliding down with a T-shirt on. Got so tired from that I leaned on one of the beams. That beam had a thick layer of grease and dirt. Lucky there was the hand sanitizer around. Finally when it was over we all were feed pizza. The playroom is large with 15 feet tall ceilings. All places are very clean with bright colors that children likes. The air was fresh, as Pump it Up has the highest grade filter system to ensure fresh air in the rooms. All kids has lots of fun their with huge inflatable Bouncers, Rock Climbing，Bubbles，glow in the dark, and so one. The staff is super nice and patient. We had our six year old celebrate his birthday here with a small group of his friends at the end of January '22. We felt the place was clean, and similar to pre-pandemic times. The biggest difference was that there were far fewer people around. The party room was as we expected - the staff checked in with us a couple of times but otherwise we were left to mingle and enjoy the pizzas. They helped us turn off the lights / turn on the birthday music when it was singing time. Call to verify those inflatables have been repaired before booking. Also service is lacking as the entire place is ran by teens. They sold us a party package on the website and then the CEO texted me several days later to say that the place is not actually open the booked time because all of the employees are kids that have school during the day. She was smarmy in her texts with me not at all apologetic that her website is crap, not at all empathetic that it is difficult to make changes to a party once the invitations have been sent. Our school group also ran into booking issues with free jump where they were able to sign up for a jump time that "didn't exist". When they arrived they were met with even more sarcasm. I was hoping for at least a couple more years at Pump it up before I'd give it up. After 4 consecutive years this year was a disappointment. Last Saturday, we hosted our son's 6th day party at Belmont and the service was truly horrible. It's all about the service! You can't expect perfection, but when you dole out over $900 to a party venue (and bring your own food), for about 3 hours. You have the expectation of good service. All the help you get to make your party successful counts. I barely got any help, I had to ask my guests to help out! Party start: The host didn't Pump the children up before the party started. Unlike previous years. Party start delayed: My husband had to nudge them about the party start, and it didn't appear to us the we got adequate time in the first room. I didn't mind the late start as much as not having a fair amount of time in the party rooms. In the first room, I didn't see staff taking pics. In fact you couldn't find them anywhere and when my husband and I asked them to take pictures they barely replied. When I checked to make sure that everything was refrigerated, there were 2 very unfriendly staff people in the kitchen. I overheard one criticizing the Mylar balloons I brought in. I told him that I brought the balloons in and he said nothing. 2nd Room: When the host led the children into the 2nd room, there was no kick off, he just opened the door and not all of the children were even in line. Again, in the 2nd room we asked that they take pictures because we didn't see anyone taking any. The Party Food room. This was the worst. I had to have 6 mothers helping me and we all kept asking, "Where's the help?" We had to set the tables for the kids, put out the table covers and what's worst. I had to send people out to get the food. In previous years, staff helped with set up and putting out the food. I understood that service was what the costs were about. This year, they didn't interact with the guests and help the kids out. My guests and I had to do everything. The biggest help they gave was cutting the cake. They didn't take pics of the kids in the room, or even my son, the cake and during the cake light up. I asked several times for the pics to get displayed on the screen. When they were displayed, they were horrible. Photos: In the last two years, they took pictures of the children playing and happy guests. This was our largest party with over 30 kids! This year, they took under 20 pictures. The pictures were blurry. They took pics of crying children, a parent walking away, a parent looking down on his cellphone. Two pics of me upset, and other pics of people walking away. It seemed all of us that they were intentionally trying to ruin the party. Now, I will have to ask the guests to send me pics. The pictures cost an additional $20, but all the the costs add to the tip percentage. Again, I paid over $900 for just about 3 hrs of their work without food. Since I brought in my own trays, I paid an additional $150. Since they charged me for 10 additional children, there was an additional $120. All costs I understood. What the problem was the horrible service and bad attitude. They staff acted like they did not want to be there. The bill: When we went to pay the bill, the staff were huddled around the register listening in. My husband was talking to the manager because someone had pointed to a document and told him that bringing would cost $100, not $150. As far as I was concerned, it was a misunderstanding, but the manager did not admit to the mistake. She just argued that she was the manager and did not approve that price. We left them a 15% tip, but I am seriously regretting that now. Thankfully the children still had fun, and the parents enjoyed the food no matter how hard they seemed to work to ruin it. read more

I heard from some friends who had party in the same place lately, and was told that it was safe and clean. We invited a few close friends, all the kids were having plenty of fun, and saying that 'this is the best party ever'. All staff there were wearing mask, and the whole process was very well organized from beginning to end. We got phone call confirmation a week before the party, a big shout out for Makayla who helped answer my questions and concerns, and had been very patient. A special thank you for the owner/Manager who I didn't even have time to ask about his name, he helped us load the kids' birthday gifts to our car, and it was raining heavily that day! We had booked the party back in early December 2021 without anticipating that there would be such a spike of Covid cases in January. My daughter's dad and I went back and forth deciding whether we should cancel the party or not but we luckily decided to move forward with it but downsized the guest numbers considerably. Pump it Up staff were super flexible with us in the weeks beforehand as we had reached out to them with our concerns of Covid and possible low attendance from our invited guests. So I did quite a bit of research before booking an indoor event. The facility was clean and has an upgraded air filtration system that made us feel comfortable during our gathering. We opted for masks during our play time and had 100% turn out of our guest list . Everyone felt great about the choice. One other measure we took was booking the first time slot of the day. This made it truly feel like we had the place to ourselves. We added an additional experience of the "glow room" in the second room and the kids went wild with excitement. My family and I went this past weekend for a birthday party. It was my first time at Pump It Up and I must say that it's an awesome concept. The facility was clean, neat and colorful. The entertainment for the children is perfect. All the bounce houses and arcade type games had my six year old and 2 year old bouncing and running around with glee. The bounce houses are well maintained too. What really impressed me was our two hosts, Alejandro and Shane. They were very professional, courteous, and kind. They never had side conversations or goofed off. Their focus was always on the children, making sure they were safe, the party stayed on track, and that everyone had a great time. I always believe that it's the people who make the experience. The people who make a company great. Shane and Alejandro's customer service was top notch and they did just that. Cool indoor jumping castle place. One of those places where you tell yourself, "self, why didn't I think of this?" My kid was invited to a birthday party here and she had a blast (and so did I). I always cringe when I see jumping castles outdoors, you know the videos showing the things blowing away. Anyway, this place has two separate indoor play areas full of huge inflatable jumps. They rotate your party between the two areas when there are multiple parties going on. Secret, they allow adults to play in there too. Just pretend you're watching your kid. My favorite was the huge castle with the 100s of balls in it. Mind you, I'm in my 30s, but I was playing dodge ball with a 5 year old. And she wasn't even my kid! I win! OMG...why my cousin decided to have my nephew's bday party on Mother's Day I'll have no idea but I had a BLAST!!! So yes, fun for adults as well as the children. She made it more fun (for me anyway) because her crazy wacky theme allowed me to dress the part and I love to dress up!! (Yeah, I can hear your comments...I'm trying to ignore you) LOL All the staff were pleasant, helped wherever was needed, and even at times, tried to get the kids (and adults) pumped to get on the climbing wall. I, on the other hand, needed no convincing. I was on the wall, in and out of everything inflatable (still ignoring you)...raced with the kids and adults on the slides, and even raced my cousin in the obstacle course, which she won by cheating, by the way!!! LOL We went from room to room easily but the lady handling the cake was a little too abrupt... I almost said something to her when she raised her voice at my nephew but we're not trying to spoil the fun so we'll just let it go. That was the only hiccup...all was fun!! And clean...I like that they make everyone wear socks. I wasn't the only adult having a blast though...most of the adults were out there sliding, climbing, and racing.
