My daughter loves her class, and her coaches do a fantastic job with her. I love that they genuinely care about each gymnast and pay attention to their individual skill set to help them grow and build confidence. The gym is comfortable for parents to sit and watch. It's also air conditioned and doesn't reek of sweaty feet like the other gym! The families we've met are all incredibly kind, and the sense of community here is something that should definitely be considered when searching for a gym for your kiddos. Highly recommend!

Accel does a tremendous job of establishing foundational skills while also ensuring the kids are having fun. I really appreciate the instructor to kid ratio as it ensures that my kids never feel forgotten. I've also observed substantial improvement in my daughters' flexibility, balance, and confidence. Accel also recently remodeled/rearranged the gym and everything looks top tier. There are plenty of places to choose from for kids gymnastics, but I highly recommend trying out Accel!

She said maybe we should get more signs out there. Yes that will stop him.... This man in a silver toyota SUV has been going to BayWinds Park every morning feeding 100's of Rock Pigeons! Now the area is infested with RATS! and pigeons! I was walking here everyday between 6 & 7am until the pigeon/rat feeding got underway. I was very angry when I saw what was happening. I yelled to him, Are you feeding these birds? Had to say it twice. He told me it was none of my business. I told him, you are messing with eco-system out here! I said I am reporting you. He drove his SUV right at me, stopped it just in front of me!! I moved to the side and told him we didn't have a rat problem til you started throwing food everywhere!!! He flipped me off and reversed out of there. I've reported him to Foster City Police and Wildlife, Fish & Game, They directed me to Parks & Rec..which has not done anything about it. It's been weeks of this that I know about...very sad and dangerous for this park and the bay wildlife. :( Google says: Pigeon droppings can expose humans to many diseases, including salmonella, Newcastle disease, candidiasis, encephalitis, orthosis, and toxoplasmosis. In addition, they can also carry cryptococcosis, and coccidiodomycosis, which cause meningitis.

I recently had a terrible experience at this facility with my daughter. After reading similar…read morereviews, I realize this was not an isolated incident. My daughter has attended several classes here, and she has complained to me about the constant switching of coaches, which has made her feel uncomfortable. At her age, she wants to have some familiarity with her coach and build a relationship with them. Completely understandable. The coaches appear to be young, with some being attentive while others seem disengaged, even using their phones during her class. This is understandable to some degree with teenage coaches, but the lack of proper management is alarming. Initially, I wasn't sure who the manager was, and when I asked to speak to one, I was told she was unavailable, handling something in the office. I politely waited, but after about 20 minutes, she never came out, so I had to leave. I was given the manager's name, Charisse, but she appeared to be laughing and joking with others while I was waiting, making no effort to address my concerns and come out to speak with me. The worst and most unprofessional part was during my next (and last) visit, when I made a point to speak with the manager, Charisse. She demanded I speak with her outside, for reasons unknown (maybe to avoid being in front of other parents). She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, refusing to listen to the concerns my daughter had the courage to bring up. Instead, she mocked me and belittled my daughter's skillset, claiming that if she didn't like the coaching changes, she should look elsewhere because they didn't need our business. I was shocked by this situation. I strongly urge all parents to reconsider entrusting their children to this poorly managed establishment. As Charisse advised, please look elsewhere - this organization does not need YOUR business. (This happened a while ago but held off on posting a review in hopes of improvement.) I also know of a ton of families who have switched gyms for similar situations. Management needs to address the unprofessionalism of this manager and begin to have a more routine coaching schedule for the gymnasts to feel comfortable.

Very competitive and not many tennis courts anymore. The ball machine is good. The free pickleball paddles for drop-in are not as good as the Bay Club Gateway ones. Parking can be hard even though there's a large lot. Bathrooms and locker rooms are nice and clean. I wish there were more workout classes and social events (though there are a lot of pickleball tournaments.)

After hearing great things about their programs, I enrolled my daughter in a new basketball program called Junior Warriors that they were running for her age group. Their rec director Tony provided a great orientation for parents on the first day so that we all understood the mission of the program and what to expect. Very helpful for a first time basketball parent. The other coach Brian was amazing with the kids and making sure everyone was engaged and learning. They are both super knowledgable and responsive to answering parent questions. We are going to give their summer programs a try this year - so many options for workshops and activities every week. It has a good seating area both outdoor overlooking the court and a relatively nice lounge indoor area. When it gets cold in winter time, there is an indoor hearer that could be plugged. Overall, I much prefer this than just be in a park . People sometimes will have get together at the outdoor area. Their conversation is not always kid friendly. Not sure if kids would overhear. Hoping that they were engaged in their games and don't care for those content.

I even drove there and ran into a young women closing up and told her what I wanted to do and please pass on my number to the person in charge. I gave her my number she gave me a new phone for the Club which was correct. I left a message for a return call and never received one. I called the same number to try again Nada! I even called the Pacifica branch to get the correct number and again incorrect information. Sorry to say the gifts will be going elsewhere. There is a lot of kids that are in need and I have a lot of people that love to help but this has been a joke. Last year I asked for a list of 30 names, ages and male or female to get an appropriate gift for the child. After 5 or 6 phone calls I had to finally threaten because they did not give me the list that if I didn't receive the list that night I would be giving him elsewhere.
