One of the many jump around places that serve kids birthday parties. This one, in Great Neck, was not the easiest to find but once there it was clean and run well. There are two areas for jumping and sliding and then the room for pizza and cake. The ages seem best for 4-10 but they may have other activities that are age appropriate. Took my kid and met some friends there for a play date during an open jump (70 minutes for about $15, a little more after tax etc). The open jump included two activity rooms for us, and since it was a weekday, there were only about 5 kids total in the whole place, so that was great. The place is clean, but not nearly as big as some of the other bounce places I've seen like Bounce U. Although we didn't have a party, I was able to see the party rooms, and on the flip side, the party rooms were much bigger than most of the typical ones I've seen. The staff wasn't the most interested bunch, but that's usually the case and expected when the staff consists of younger late teen/early 20 types. Also, I don't think the kids noticed, but the music soundtrack was not age appropriate for a place that probably caters to the 12 and under crowd. I have no problem with Jeremih...except when it's blasting at a bounce house. Biggest negative was we expected to use the 'buddy jump' discount as advertised on their web page but were told we could not. When someone in our group asked why not, they just said "you can't use it now" and that was it, so we all ended up paying full price. I came back afterwards and read the offer again and still can't figure out why we weren't allowed to use it. If you're planning to use this, I'd call ahead to make them confirm it's available. read more

After so many negative reviews about the venue being outdated I was a little worried about planning my daughters birthday party here. I was banking on the owners yelp comments that New inflatables were on the way, and guess what? They delivered! I was also very surprised at how attentive the staff was, they refilled the kids drinks, wrapped up leftover food, and offered to take pictures for us. The only two minor issues is that the location can be hard to find, I think they should put more signs up and the food is very pricey. But at the end of the day all the kids had a blast, and the parents too! I would definitely recommend this venue for kids birthday parties. read more

Amazing place to celebrate!! My husband and I celebrated our son's 3rd birthday at Pump it Up. Danielle was a pleasure to work with! She was so accommodating and her and her staff truly went above and beyond to make sure our son's birthday was perfect! Compared to the NJ places, this place is mediocre at best. We started with a very cheesy safety video. Then started with the first room; not bad. I've seen better and these look like the ones you get at a local fair; they were outdated and plain. The next room was okay as well. One video arcade game from the 90s only. They did have the pyramid where you run up a steep ramp to grab flags. There was a host that brought kids from room to room but was MIA once we entered the party room. While the kids were playing, the host and attendants were goofing off playing basketball or throwing footballs. There was a mishap with a crying child and no attendant was around to see if the child was okay. Once we were in the party room, there were 2 attendants. One was only doing glitter tattoos while the other was serving food. We had 3-4 yo's and they do get messy. One attendant was not enough to handle these kids. The glitter girl was a blind eye to everything that was happening. The kids were spilling punch here and there, and there were no paper towels nor the attendant to help clean it up. In NJ, I saw 3 attendants and they were always walking around looking for stuff to do, like cleaning empty plates, refilling pizza or cleaning up messes. Since there was no host, the b-day child was left alone. Party coordination was absent. The best part of this place is the free valet parking. read more

I've been wanting to write a review! This place is awesome and worth everything! I'm an event stylist I love to go extra on decoration. All the girls in the front and everyone here is great and so attentive! I came here back in April for my girlfriends daughter birthday and I decorated the unicorn theme, we had the last party and it was awesome we didn't feel rushed everyone had a great time. Walking in I thought something was being given our for free. The place was packed at 6pm, it seems they host lots of parties and turn groups over pretty quickly. Apparently there are deals if you have a party later in the evening. When we left at 8pm that were still more parties coming in. 1) Most importantly the kids had a blast. They ran, climbed, bounced, jumped and shot balls at each other. I even joined in the fun sliding down this huge slide with my little one who got scared when she reached the top. 2) They start by having having you complete a waiver on an ipad, gibberish the kids a wrist band and then children watch a video on safety. Then take you into the first bounce room. Everyone takes thwarts shoes of to go on the bouce attractions.after about 30 minutes you are led into another bounce room. You take your belongings with you, the staff wheel your shoes over on this big cart. You spend 30 minutes here and end in the party room for pizza, beverages and cake. 3) Bring water my kiddos were pretty patched from all the bouncing. There were vending machines and little tables to take a break. 4) The staff were friendly and young. They take photos of the kids as part of the party package. 5) My biggest pet peave is cleanliness as I am a little OCD. as you imagine these places are not likely to be cleaned often, the carpets were dirty some people are wearing sites others walling in socks. As soon as we got home all clothing were removed. Some of the benches were sticky. Not sure on the rest roommate I waited till we got home. All in all it was ok, I wouldn't have a party there but it suffices. I give it 3 stars. read more

I was there Saturday with my grandchildren. Everything was wonderful. The kids all had so much fun. My problem was when it was time to serve the pizza. After playing on all the equipment, there was no hand wipes offered to children. When I complained I was told the sanitizer was by the door. Unfortunately it was empty. Thank God one of the parents had hand sanitizer in her bag. I felt that after the children finished playing, Pump it up should have provided hand wipes for the children!! Also the servers should have been wearing gloves!!! read more

This was very disappointing. We had our son's birthday there a few years ago and it has really gone downhill since then. The playroom times went great, but the food service was horrible. The young man that was supposed to be our attendant was the least helpful person I've ever encountered there. I was embarrassed and couldn't wait to leave. Once pizza was served, our attendant disappeared. I was pouring drinks for everyone. I had to ask for drink bottles to be replenished. The kids were asking me for drinks because no one was around. I paid for a "large" cake only to be told there is no large. It took forever to bring out the cake, 5 pieces at a time. By the end, 2 children never got cake and it was never offered to the adults. And there were only 15 bags of cotton candy for 23 kids. I told the attendant and he said "I'll see what I can do" and I never saw him again after that. I paid for the ultimate package for 25 kids. I had 23, clearly visible in our group photo. I was told we had 26 kids but they were doing us a favor by not charging us for the extra kid. Absolutely horrible. I would discourage anyone from booking a party here. read more

I went with my 2 year old and 5 month old for my friends daughter's birthday party. That was my second time visiting this location. I like this place because my son can enjoy himself and have a good time of course but I notice flaws right off the back when I see them. I really dislike this location because it's literally hidden in the back of the Northwell Health's medical buildings so it can be confusing unless you can see the little signs that will "led" you to the place. What's tacky for me is using big black tape to cover any damage that has occurred on the inflatables ..I don't know why they won't get rid of it but whatever. I think my problem with this place is that they need to change it up a bit because I went here like maybe 2 yrs ago and nothing changed ..literally. read more

We have had many parties at Pump it Up for my grandchildren. Each time has been excellent. The kids love it and enjoy every minute. They are organized, professional and go out of their way to make sure every birthday child and guest have a fabulous time. Even the parents and grandparents have fun. The food is also delicious. I highly recommend it You can't go wrong and your house stays clean. We will continue our family tradition of Pump it Up parties for years to com. read more

I hosted my son's birthday party at the Great Neck location on 6/32/22. The start time for the party was 4:35pm, in which I was told shortly after arriving that the party would not start until 4:55pm (a nice 30 minutes behind for already antsy 4 and 5 year olds) . The front end staff is absolutely despicable and it's clear they don't want to work. The "manager" Deshaeness said they would compensate with extra time to extend the party; this is was an acceptable solution at this point...no parent wants to stay an additional 45 min on a weekday evening w/ their child. 4:55pm rolls around and there is still no staff available to begin my sons party. At this point my husband begins walking the group back to the bounce area still to be told they were behind. We did not have our party started until 5:10pm which is way beyond the initial start time. My contract also stated pizza would be delivered at 5:30pm which meant it would be sitting there for over 1 hour before being served with our new delayed time. After expressing my concern to the manager at the place, she began to berate me, told me to "Go Cry About It" and threatened to call the Police on me when I stated I would be giving a poor review on social media. This behavior, attitude and customer service is despicable. Her tone, choice of words and actions are disgraceful as this all took place in front of 5 year olds and their parents. I will never host a party here again, never allow my children to attend a party here, nor recommend this place again. After this incident they did not attend to my party and left one Staff member doing everything. It is truly a disgrace. NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE read more

This was our second year hosting our son's birthday party here and the staff did not disappoint!! We were one of the first parties and arrived about the same time as some of the young staff members were starting their shifts. My son was OVERJOYED and was singing that it was time to party. Instead of rolling their eyes or ignoring a child (as I would have done at that age....or as I would do now ), they greeted my son and wished him a very happy birthday-it made his day!! Our party hosts were super accommodating and attentive to all our needs. They constantly brought us pitchers of water for the kids and checked in with me during the party to make sure everything was going smoothly. What stood out the MOST this time was the front desk staff and how they handled situations. There had been a mistake by my husband where he significantly overtipped. The staff came out to the parking lot to return the money. It's so nice to know that there are still good people out there--kind, hardworking, young people who still have values. All the kids had an amazing time and parents said it was a great party! My son said that he had a great day.....but it would have been better if we could live at Pump It Up. Thanks guys!!! read more

The place is just okay, yes , kids did have fun but I think overall they can do a little better, like providing better service to birthday parties. Booked this place for my daughter's birthday with the ultimate package and guess what I got : I lowest package. The theme plates and cup were not there, no piñata, no cotton candy, staff didn't interact with kids, my daughter didn't receive the gift given to the birthday child as part of package, I had to serve the kids. Absolutely obnoxious staff.. They can't even pretend to smile.. It's like there is something in the water there that makes them all look miserable- as if there is a stench in the room or something.. Or maybe on their upper lip. They made a huge deal bc the kids I took there brought their own food due to a gluten allergy and made us pack up and leave mid-meal! Disgusting. And the girl who initially told us to leave has had a giant stick stuffed up her butt since the first time I went there. Definitely won't be going back. Ever! I had my kid's birthday party here the past weekend. The place is clean and fun for the kids, brighter and roomier than another bouncy place in Whitestone. The kids had a blast. But if you are expecting any service from the staff there, you are out of luck. While in the bouncy rooms, the staff was just doing their own things, I saw one bouncing a basketball somewhere in a quiet corner. It was even worse when we got in the party room, the two girls just handed out pizza and poured drink for the kids, then they just stepped aside and gossip about something. My guests were refilling the drinks for the kids and were just helping out because the staff was not doing anything. I brought in my own goodie bags and had to ask them to bring them out. I bought my own cake so that the guests have the option of regular cake or the ice cream cake (that comes with the deluxe package) but they only took my cake out and when asked if they would also be serving the ice cream cake for the guests, they looked shocked and reluctantly said they could do that. I was too busy helping out in the party room because the staff was not doing anything that I didn't even realize there was no balloons in the room (again, it comes with the deluxe package). They also mentioned (when I made the reservation for the party) that they will show pictures they took in the party room, but of course, none was shown, the TV was off. Again, I didn't think about it until I get home, if not, I would have mentioned it to the manager when I paid the bill!! A few guests were interested in booking the place for their kids' birthday party but after the party and saw the service, I should say the lack of, they decided to book elsewhere. read more

This is a great facility for all ages. I have a 2 year old, a 4 year old and a 5 year old and they have nothing but fun every single time we come here. We had our 4 year olds birthday party here and the staff was magnificent. Really helpful from the moment I booked my party until I walked out the door. Staff was friendly and assisted me planning my party and making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the party. We will definitely have my 5 year olds birthday party here this year. They have a bunch of great options for party favors and extras. I was able to get a Hello Kitty visit for my party, a pinata, all the paper goods and favors. I also did glitter tattoos for the kids and cotton candy which was a hit. The food is SO GOOD! Great job on their catering vendors ! On one occasion, some helpers that were supposed to watch the safety of kids looked like they were 13; very young and not mature enough to handle the situations. Stay away from this place! Took kids here for few hours of fun. Staff was awful. No coat rack for our jacket. They gave us a dumpster bin and said put your belongings in here. Somehow apple juice was thrown all over jackets. Brought this up to the inexperienced and young staff, they had no resolution. Also, next day, both of my kids were sick. Throwing up. Place was dirty. I had my daughter's party this past weekend and although I read some not so great reviews I gave the place the benefit of the doubt. When I went to visit and even before the party started everything was great, but when the party started things did not look so good. First room was ok, the kids play and the adults mingled but my husband would have wanted to see the attendants be more friendly. We went to the second room which I had requested glow in the dark, but the lights were on and I had to ask the attendant to turn them off. I feel that if you are going to be handling a party you should know what has been requested before hand. Then we we went to the party room I had to ask for more plates, soda, and I had to serve my daughter more pizza cause the attendants were no where to be found. This location is severely lacking in enthusiasm. My daughter had her 6 yo birthday here and the staff that were assigned to her party were on their phones the whole time. There was ZERO interaction with the children in the rooms as well as the party room. Very disappointed. I have been to several parties at the Roselle Park, NJ and the staff there are phenomenal. This was the reason my daughter wanted a pump it up party. This location was closer to home...but what a huge disappointment. The party room floor was also very sticky. They had the wrong person's name up on the tv screen. And they were just overall so uninvolved. The Roselle Park location staff have a little freeze dance party with the kids in the party room and are very attentive without hovering. My friend who has had here parties there even made a comment on how different (to put it nicely) the two locations were. read more

We had my sons 6th birthday party here today. Very unorganized and poorly done. The place itself is cute and can be a wonderful place to have a party with better management. I was treated very badly by the on staff manager Nicolette. She would not assist her staff and did not help us the entire time. She was rude and treated me and my guest badly. I would not recommend having a party here with her around. I would like to say our party host did a great job given the circumstances. Our party was complete chaos from start to finish. A really great place for kids. Always come in for the Open Jump sessions. The sessions are over an hour long . I recommend trying out the Glow Jumps especially. My kids are 7 and older and always love going to the glow jumps. The place is very clean and the arenas are extremely big. The staff is very sweet as well! read more

I'm really surprised at the complainers on here talking about this place. Let me share my experience. I came in with my two sons for an Open Jump at Pump it Up and WOW! Absolutely loved it. Upon arrival you have to sign a waiver using one of the iPads. The jump is affordable and a great place to entertain the kids. We watched a quick safety video and headed into the first arena and later into the second arena. The facility is very big but most importantly my two kids had a great time. I'm from Florida and come up a lot to visit family and this was a great place to come to. I spoke with I believe her name was Nicole and Gina, very sweet and accommodating ladies.
