Nice staff, clean and sanitized play structure for the kids. Would definitely come back. Wish they had free play sometime durning the weekends.

A fun place for kids' parties! We attended a 5-year-old's birthday party here last weekend, and my kids had a blast. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the event was well organized. Their bounce structures included a large enclosure for jumping around, a short obstacle course, a very small toddler-sized slide, a moderately steep slide, and an extremely steep slide. They also had some large foam building blocks perfect for building a fort. Tables and chairs made it comfortable for adult guests to relax while the staff supervised the bounce structures. The party packages include an option to add pizza (which tasted ok but was nothing fancy) and juice boxes, and they don't allow outside food to be served except for birthday cake. It would certainly be less expensive to hold a party at your own home, rent a bounce house, and order some cheap pizza. However, I think it's worth checking this place out if you're looking for an easy full-service event where the staff supervises the children (only to an extent, of course!), serves food to the party guests, and cleans up afterwards. After the party, I read a Yelp review that mentioned they allow adults on the bounce structures here. Could this be true?! I wish I had known because those slides sure looked fun!

Polite, professional, and courteous staff. Their job is hard, but they do it well. The kids had plenty of fun and the staff was very punctual in their efforts to keep everyone on track. I would definitely return with the baby whenever there is a party here. Thanks for the good clean time. This may be the shortest review I've done to date.

    Hella fun :)

Lots of fun when you have the place to yourself. Minus one star because I flew past the mat and hurt my butt by landing on the carpet. (Extreme sliding) lol. This place is HELLA fun. I've been running around and it's a FUN WORKOUT! I'm sweating.

Stop, Collaborate, and Listen! (Or else they will toss you out)

What the fu- are we talking about the same place? I went ape-shit over Pump It Up, this place is so much fun. If you come here for their TGIF night it's only $8.50 for the kid to get in and yes you do have to sit through a safety video starring a male and female cheerleader that are more than likely hooked on meth. Once you get inside this place is cool! There are obstacle courses, climbing challenges, slides, and gigantic inflatable basketballs all over the place. I don't know if adults are allowed to play on these things but I sure as hell MADE IT RAIN with the inflatable titanic-sized basketball...maybe all the bad reviews are partially my fault, nothing turns people off to a game more than a woman hogging their kid's basketball hoop. Of course I didn't come alone, Trip chose the venue and thoroughly enjoyed himself. His favorite part was the slide because he could try to run back up it, but the party pooper attendants always blew the whistle (which the crazy cheerleaders had informed me earlier meant, "Stop, Collaborate, and Listen!" [Ice is back with a brand new edition, unce unce]). The music there was a censored version of Kanye West's album Graduation, awesome.

Super stars assistant to my daughters party! Thank you London and Xio

Completed waivers, selected her play time, and purchased my daughter's admission ticket ($24.94) along with a pair of grip Bay Play socks ($4.00) online. A chaperone ticket is required ($0), additional chaperones are $5 each. Adults either wear their own socks or shoe covers inside of play area. On a Monday at 4:30p there was only one other car parked. Inside there was one child at play. As the day went on a couple more children joined. The kids all played together as one, which was heart warming to see. The restrooms are located at the rear of the play space, at the end of the Ninja Warrior Jungle structure. There are two major play structures, one for bigger kids to climb, swing and play, the other for smaller kids to do the same with play tailored to their petite size. There are three jump spaces with two attached to what appears to be VR simulated devices. There are lots of arcade games for the kids to play, at an additional charge. Outside food is not permitted. Small snacks are allowed. There are two vending machines at the entrance of the play area - one drinks and the other snacks. There are four massage chairs for chaperones to exist in while the littles play. It accepts mobile pay and cards. One chaperone was enjoying herself during our time, eyes shut. There are 2-3 tables at the front of Bay Play with 4 additional tables at the rear closest to the restrooms. For $25, our daughter was able to play from the time of arrival to close (7p). This is definitely an option to consider for play dates or to pop in for something to do. It is located on the border of Emeryville and Oakland. Bay Play is embedded within a neighborhood. There is street parking directly in front of the location.

Off the bat, I want to say this is one of the more affordable indoor playgrounds I've been to (some I've gone to will charge for adults?!) and there was no time limit (some places give you a time limit of how long you can play for) so that was a plus. They do require you to purchase their socks (can't be grippy socks from anywhere else) but even with the socks and day pass, I want to say it was only $35? The kids loved running around the swing ropes, the indoor playground with slide, and the big bouncy thingy under the bouldering wall. My only concern about the bouncy thingy by the bouldering wall is there aren't any safety rails or things around it and I can't tell if it's safer with or without it but I definitely needed to stay close by in case he bounced off the entire cushion thingy. If you have highly sensitive little ones or neurodivergent kiddos, this place may be a tad overstimulating with the arcade right smack dab in the middle. Like other reviewers had mentioned, it would be nice if the arcade was slightly away from the physical play so that kids aren't distracted/overstimulated by the arcade screens. We did eventually end our outing at the arcades (spent another $40 on the game card...sigh) but luckily we won a big jackpot from one of the games to make it all worth it! Of note, you can't really wear your shoes in the bathroom which is kinda gross so bear that in mind. All in all, definitely one of the better indoor playgrounds in the Bay Area!

Unfortunately, the party planning and overall management left a lot to be desired. Before the party, I received an email saying that a coordinator would contact me to finalize the food order, but I never heard from anyone until 2 days of the party even though I sent a follow-up email which I didn't receive a response, which made planning stressful. At the end of the party, fewer children attended than we had originally expected, and our total guest count was still within the overall party limit. Despite that, we were charged extra for additional adults, which was disappointing and didn't feel very customer-friendly. We were also told we had 15 minutes to vacate the play area. While the venue itself is great for open play, I wouldn't recommend it as a birthday party venue based on my experience. The focus seemed to be more on additional charges than on providing a smooth, enjoyable experience for families. I would happily bring my son back to play, but I would choose a different location for future birthday celebrations.

It was $15, which was well worth it. The place is small but cute and was packed with kids ranging from 1-4 years old. She was so excited to play in the ball pit and structures. They have little areas set up for imagination play such as a veterinarian area, a grocery check out area with play food and shopping carts, little play houses, reading nooks, blocks areas, so much to play with and explore. It's so cute to see her figure out all of these play areas. We hung out at the tables in the back and let her enjoy herself with all of the other little kids. I felt totally comfortable there and did not need to worry about my little one, like some of those bigger places get a lot of rowdy older kids. Other notes about the facility: They had coffee, tea and water for free. The bathrooms were clean, especially loved the regular changing tables in there (the foldable ones make me nervous). Socks were $3 for play socks with rubber grips on the bottom. She loved it and we all had a great afternoon. We will come back when in Oakland for another play day.

Lots of pretend play stations with Melissa and Doug or that style of toys - grocery, vet, kitchen -- plus duplo wall, magnatiles, connect 4, a small toddler foam area, and the star of the show, the giant play structure with a swing, slide, and large ball pit. The complimentary water, tea, keurig coffee were a plus for me. I know my little one will want ot be back - this occupied her for about 3 hours and she could have stayed longer.

I especially appreciated that they have a separate toddler/younger kids area which made it feel safer and less overwhelming. We did the party package where you had play time in the playground, then time in party room, then arcade. We chose last time slot on a Saturday I think. Since the play time is timed I'd recommend warning all your guests about it and have them arrive early. We sent all the parents a schedule and heads up so things could run super smooth and the kids could enjoy every minute of play time. Parking is very limited since it's a super small lot and there's a party ahead of you too. The host family has a reserved parking spot out front but our guests definitely need to just find street parking, they came early and seemed to find parking fine. Staff will collect bday gifts in a cart which is super helpful. The indoor play structure is super big and spacious and has a toddler area too. A big kids track with basketball like area with soft balls is right next to play area and had some areas for adults to sit. Adults can chill upstairs in the lounge area too. Play area is gated. You have option to have staff lead the kids in a series of games at the track area which is great way to get the entire party together at end of play time which my daughter loved. Afterwards the kids line up n wash hands n everyone is led upstairs to the party room. The party room is like jungle safari theme decorated painted on the walls. Space is a bit tight/cramped but good air flow and fine. Staff will walk around serving the kids food which is great. Everyone can eat and enjoy without the adults spending time to serve and feed the kids. Afterwards we went down to arcade room and played and you get tickets and redeem for prize. Everyone was able to walk away with a prize which is perfect. Only downside is it gets hot. "Arcade area definitely needs a remodel with AC or at minimum very good fans. I would suggest the owners to highly consider this as it's a bit run down looking compared to the rest of the facility". But even if a remodel is not done, the arcade area is good as is. Maybe buying a few portable fans to hand out to the few guests who might overheat is good enough. Guests had so much fun !! and we got a lot compliments how well run everything was !! They have a food vendor which was perfect too. We plan to have our daughter's 7th bday here again this year as we can't find a better venue that can be so spacious and run so well. Definitely 5 stars. At end of the night, the staff loaded our car with gifts, leftover food. For us, the less work the better so we can actually enjoy the party while hosting. Thank you so much to all the staff and for leading that game time too.
