Curried lamb and rice. Naan is extra charge.
Bill H.

Had a nice workday lunch here a feww weeks ago. Food is great, service is friendly. Be prepared to wait a little for them to put your order together. Not a place if you are rushing to get to a meeting at work and need lunch fast (unless you order ahead). One thing, at this location naan is an extra order, and that rice that comes with your order is about 8 oz tub serving. I ordered the curried lamb which could feed two people if you ordered extra bread and rice. VIDEO: https://youtu.be/OdiudBDejlc?si=j5do2BAvo43eWgy_

Choley Bhature

I regularly visit Lotte on the weekend, and regularly choose to get dinner (takeout during COVID) from Punjabi by Nature, which is saying something because there are plenty of fantastic restaurants in this area. On my first visit, I was recommended the chole bhature, and the chole itself had a rich, complex flavor that I can't figure out, even after multiple visits. It's simple unlike any other restaurant chole/chana that I've ever had. The bhature itself was good, if a little rich to make it my regular order. The parathas are soft and flavorful, and since you get two per order, very filling--not the best option when you're just looking for a light snack, I've discovered, but after a few bites, I'm glad I was able to enjoy two. My favorite dish, actually, is the kadai paneer, which is one of the best I've had it in a while. This is definitely a place I will continue to visit, and after this review, I'm trying to make excuses to myself to visit Lotte sooner rather than later, just so I can get some takeout again.

This place is inside a korean grocery store. Their south indian dishes are Authentic and delicious!

Chur Chur Naan

I'm South Indian and I have lived in the US for long to know good Indian food. I don't know why there are many bad reviews here, probably I have been a loyal customer till 2017, and when I moved back into the area last week, I went to try their food. Whether you are of Indian origin or not, I highly recommend you try their chur chur naan(stuffed naan bread) with a mix of potato and gobi(cauliflower). They serve with amazing chili pickled onions, butter as a side (yes!), Punjabi style dark chickpea curry and yogurt (raita). I highly recommend that you do a sit-in rather than to-go for their breads cos that's when they taste best. There is lovely seating outside or you could shop at Lotte Asian market (cheaper, cleaner than other Lotte markets and more varieties of tropical fruits and vegetables and greens).Or there is a lovely Korean bakery for you to get your cake samples from. I think even if you are Indian, you can go with good expectations and still come back happy. Do try their chef ‍ specials too! 5/5 AMAAAZING!!!

a plate of fried food

Worst Indian Food Ever in United States and HORRIBLE Customer Service. I had heard a lot about this place. Recently on November 11th 2021, I ordered 1.Paneer kathi Roll 2.Chole Bature 3.Hakka Noodles. Chole Bature- Chole was smelly and Batura was soaked in oil and felt like my mouth is full of spoiled oil.(when asked to owner her words were...hum ji batura aise hi banate hain.) Seriously!!! She was very proud of serving this type of Bhatura from last 13+ years. Paneer kathi roll- Paneer inside the roll was so sour.(when asked to owner... her words were ''Neembu zyada dal gaya hoga'") Hakka Noodles- It was Soy sauce Noodles or my child named it as Black Noodles.(when asked to owner..her words were.. "hum noodles Soy Sauce mein hi banate hain". Does that mean she use only Soy sauce and no other sauce??) TASTELESS BLACK NOODLES - Order it if you want to drink soya sauce. I mean we always think that if one thing is not good may be the other would be better. Thinking that we ordered 3 items and it was a complete waste of $50 and no value for your money. At last we had to order pizza again to fill our tummy. This is the first and the last time I went to this Restaurant and would really warn everyone to NEVER EVER to go there or PICK UP from here.

Good punjabi food like kadhi pakora, bhature chhole, dahi bhalla, lassi, puri aaloo. Quick service, basic but clean ambiance.

I recently ordered aloo tikki chaat , it was burnt and to cover it up they added too much chutney without yogurt.

This past weekend, I had one of those meals that lingers with you long after the last bite--halwa,…read morepuri, Punjabi murg chole, all coming together in a way that felt both familiar and completely new at Charcoal Chicken. The puri arrived hot and perfectly puffed--golden, light, and crunchy on the outside, yet soft enough to soak up every bit of flavor. Then came the Punjabi murg chole, and that's where the magic really happened. The chicken was tender and deeply seasoned, not overpowering, but rich with warmth and spice. Paired with the chickpeas, it created a hearty, comforting balance--earthy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. We all know halwa puri with chole is a classic. It's nostalgic, it's comforting, it's expected. But adding Punjabi-style chicken into the mix? That took the entire experience to another level. The chicken didn't compete with the chole--it elevated it. Every bite with puri felt intentional, layered, and indulgent. This wasn't just breakfast or brunch--it was a vibe. A bold twist on tradition that felt rooted yet exciting. If halwa puri is comfort food, then halwa puri with Punjabi murg chole is comfort food that decided to show up dressed sharp and confident. A combination I didn't know I needed--but now won't forget.

Really good, but next time I want to try some different items…read more I ordered the Garlic naan 6/10 not much flavor and the Briyani butter chicken. Although good, I really love saucy rice so I might have to try the Butter chicken independently. I'm also going to try a more standard briyani like the goat one. Overall, I will definitely give this spot another try. We ordered a to go meal. It took around 10-15 mins to prepare. A very casual looking spot.

This was my first time visiting this location (in person). I feel like I may have ordered from them…read morevia Uber Eats before (I cannot confirm nor deny this..). It almost next door to Lotte, so figured why not check it out. Staff was very friendly/accommodating. They have SO MANY preparations/variations of Biryani. I was curious about most of them, but unfortunately, there weren't any pictures available online or on the menus. I've never had (or heard of) jackfruit biryani, but we will definitely try it next time, Malabar style. We decided to play it safe and get the Malabar veg biryani, medium spicy. It was tasty, no weird veggies in it. I wish they would add pictures of the different variations or provide details of each preparation on the menu or online.

Both were bland despite being spicy, which is a frustrating combination. We could not finish either dish. To top it off, the food was served on paper plates with plastic cups, and the staff were indifferent throughout. The photos other people posted looked great, but our experience did not match. Would not recommend.

We came here after ages and well worth it!…read more Bismark is the new chef in charge and my husband and I owe our delicious comforting meal to him and the staff. I stuck to the traditional nomz- onion chili dosa. My husband was in the mood to be adventurous and enjoyed his special treat! We visited this restaurant when it was Athidhi before covid, when they had the lunch buffet. We…read morestopped by once in 2021, but left because it was empty and they no longer had the lunch buffet. We made the mistake of coming here (on a weekday evening) and left wondering, "How is this place still open???". There weren't any other customers, which should have been the first sign to leave. Zero decor, second sign to leave. The menu looked like it was typed up by a high schooler, no description and was partially hand written, final sign to leave. Unfortunately, being that we had high hopes (since their buffet used to be good), we stayed and ordered a chicken vindaloo and mutter paneer with naan. The naan was like rubber, not sure if it was heated in the microwave or old. The chicken vindaloo looked/tasted like regular chicken curry and had bones, which wasn't even mentioned on the menu. I have ordered chicken vindaloo from many other India restaurants and they always had boneless chicken and actually tasted like vindaloo. The server wasn't helpful in any way and didn't seem to know much about the food. We barley touched the food, paid and just left the rest of the food on the table.
