Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, naan, Raita, rice

As you can see from the photos, it was a very rainy evening and we wanted something good to eat for dinner as we were headed west from Nashville on I-40. I'd had this Indian restaurant on my radar for a while thanks to Yelp. The food was amazing! It arrived quickly and there was lots of it. Enough was leftover for lunch tomorrow. The restaurant is in an old log building that surely must've been a home-cooking kind of place in the past. Well now it's great Indian home cooking! I noticed they have quite a takeout business, as well. You know you're in the right place when you see that almost everyone in the restaurant and for takeout were Indian.

The veg biryani was good. I got hot spicy def was hot lol. Portions and price ok. Went inside and ordered takeout. The garlic naan was really bland as u can see in pic. The biryani was flavorful a lot of herbs and spices chew slowly. The service was dry but its all good. No online ordering on website. Location good. Better than average thankfully in terms of flavor. Needs more veggies tho. Sticking with the biryani if i come back. Generous 5 stars

We stopped here for takeout leaving Nashville. I had heard good things as this is the closest Indian in our area. I was a little frightened when we couldn't understand each other on the phone. I was pleasantly surprised with a fast on time order that was delicious. We had chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, veggie korma, and garlic naan. The naan was some of the best I have had. We preferred the chicken tikka over the butter chicken here for flavor. All the spice was medium and I would t need to go any further. It had enough kick for our group. The veggie korma actually had cheese cubes and some whole cashews which was different for me but very good. We will pick up from here again. We also had plenty of rice for everything.

Sweet ambience for a gas station - definitely surprising!

Solid Indian food right off the highway. It looked like everything was made from scratch. Considering this is a gas station, the ambience is pretty good.

Despite living fairly close, we were unaware of this restaurant until our daughter told us about it. They evidently rely on word of mouth to bring folks in to this out of the way spot. We went for lunch today, but could only get take away from 2-4 PM, presumably to allow them to prep for dinner. We were able to eat in the restaurant, but having the food in take away containers worked out well as there was so much food we were able to easily take it home for another meal. The Butter Chicken was fabulous. My wife got Chicken Cashmere. Both entrees were accompanied by a huge portion of rice. Butter Naan bread was the final touch. The restaurant is small and very casual. I was never a fan of Indian food until I ate here. Now, I can't wait to return and sample other items. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful restaurant. Wooded interior & exterior, very clean place. Very accessible and convenient parking from Petro. I read the reviews and ordered a little spicy than medium, bcuz the reviews said they make it mild if you ask for medium - is not correct. Order medium if you want medium. Food taste amazing. The butter chicken was great. Rotis were nice and soft as well.

We just tried this Indian restaurant for the first time! It is amazing and authentic, you can tell by all the India nationals that came for lunch. If you love Curry spice and great International food this restaurant should definitely be on your list. It is tucked back behind a gas station in a cute log cabin Kingston Springs, Tennessee. The service is great and they also do take out orders. We tried the Samosa Hadt (Chickpea, potatoes with sweet onions and basil in sweet curry sauce) it was delicious! We also had the Curry Chicken and Curry Lamb both ordered spicey. If you don't like hot spicy food then order it normally as it comes. You order it medium or hot or extra hot or non-spicy. We ordered ours spicy and it made our noses run and we had to eat more of the long grain rice to cool it down. So I recommend ordering it normal or non-spicy, but this place needs to be on your bucket list for sure!!!

This isn't just my favorite Indian restaurant in Tennessee--it's hands down the best Indian food I've ever had. Everything from the moment you walk in feels special. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and inviting without feeling over-the-top. The staff has always been welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations, making every visit feel like a great experience. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is packed with bold, authentic flavors while still feeling creative and unique. You can tell there's incredible attention to detail in every bite. The sauces are rich and perfectly balanced, the meats are cooked to perfection, and the fresh naan is something I could order over and over again. I've tried Indian food in several places over the years, and nothing has come close to this. As a huge Food Network fan, it made the experience even more exciting knowing this is Chef Maneet Chauhan's restaurant. I've watched her for years on Tournament of Champions, Chopped, and other Food Network shows, so finally getting to enjoy her food in person exceeded every expectation I had. This is one of those restaurants I recommend to everyone who visits Nashville. Whether you're already a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. I'll be coming back again and again--it's become my favorite restaurant in Tennessee, and I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu. Highly, highly recommend!

The interior was nice and your typical Indian restaurant interior. I got the veggie sampler, lamb vindaloo in Indian spice level, and they threw in some free garlic naan which was incredible. The lamb vindaloo was perfectly spicy exactly how I needed it to be, the potato inside was incredible and the lamb tender. The veggie sampler was the BEST I have ever had at any Indian restaurant. Mint chutney was incredible. Garlic naan was super buttery and garlicky. Super nice owners and staff. I hate going places half an hour before they close but they were understanding. (Frankly, I'm being a bit generous, with rounding up an extra half star, because they are so newly opened.) Overall, my wife and I really enjoyed our meal (actually, "meals", given that we had two additional meals of leftovers). Also, the staff person with whom I dealt was super friendly. I am really happy that this is the closest restaurant to my home! I am including photos of pretty much everything we ordered. Clearly, as you can see from the photos, this was a To-Go order. We didn't actually order the rice, but it appears to have come with our entrées. And I did not take pictures of the sauces that typically come with some Indian dishes. Starting with the appetizers, we had Meat Samosa and Samosa Chaat. We loved the Samosa Chaat. Very flavorful, quite good textures. And even a couple days later, the leftovers were really tasty. The Meat Samosa could use a bit more work. I thought that most of the pastry was really good; good flavor to it, and most well cooked and flaky. But some of the pastry was a bit undercooked and I thought that the filling could benefit from something to help it hold together a bit better, rather than being crumbly, falling back onto the plate, and needing to be corralled with a spoon. That said, I really liked the flavor. But I would lean more towards ordering the Samosa Chaat, based on this one experience. On to the mains. The Tandoori Chicken may be the best we have ever had, anywhere. (Note: I have tried the dish in well over a dozen restaurants from coast to cost in North America.) Great flavor. Well cooked. And, importantly, still moist. So many versions are disappointingly overcooked and dried out. We will definitely be ordering this on a regular basis. The Chicken Cashmere had a delicious sauce; a really flavorful dish. I would recommend that the chicken be cooked slightly less, to help keep it tender and juicy. We were torn between ordering the Cashmere and the Korma (which we have had elsewhere), and will likely be trying the Chicken Korma next time. And, then, additionally: The Papadums were nicely cooked and are among our favorites, though there is nothing particularly special or different about these. The Paratha, one of our favorite kinds of Indian bread, were OK, but seemed to be made using a somewhat overlapping spiral, rather than the multitude of layers we have had elsewhere. Toasting it lightly (in pop-up toaster, each half cut in half again) really boosted it. The Mango Chutney was a good version, as was the Achar. The rice was cooked with some spices, and so had a more interesting flavor than one gets with plain white rice. I was asked on the phone how spicy I wanted things. I said, "medium". Maybe the question was automatic and the dishes we got were not intended to by very spicy at all or maybe they don't expect the typical Central Tennessee resident to be capsicum-tolerant, but there was really little-to-no capsicum in evidence. So, next time, as I said, we'll be trying the Chicken Korma instead of the Chicken Cashmere. And we will probably be adding a Biryani. (For the Biryani, I'll be pushing for Lamb -- we'll see how that idea goes over.) And I just noticed that they have a Coconut Soup, and that seems intriguing. And, as an aside: I offered to use my sheet scanner to create a better quality copy of the menu. The original JPEG scans were about 11.5 MB each, and I converted them to a set of more manageable ~325 KB versions. (If the restaurant wants the full original scans, I can provide them.)

We ordered family-style, and every dish that hit the table was vibrant, aromatic, and made with love. The tandoori chicken was simple yet so comforting, it arrived in a sizzling skillet adding a hint of flare in the presentation. Each chicken piece was beautifully charred, and coated in a bold, smoky marinade. The curries were so rich and each one had its own personality.
