Stopped by Punjabi Dhaba in Kingston Springs, and it turned out to be a great random find that I had been meaning to check out. My first impression was good -- the place was clean and well maintained, which made for a comfortable dining experience. We tried a variety of dishes, and overall, the food was delicious and full of flavor. The only mistake on our part was asking for the food to be made spicy -- it ended up being much spicier than expected. While the flavors were great, the heat level was a bit overwhelming. That said, it's definitely a place we'd come back to and explore more, just with normal spice levels next time. Overall, a solid spot for flavorful Indian food with a nice, simple setting! read more

Delicious! Spice is not too spicy so feel free to order what you actually would want as a spice level. Service could be improved. No one greeted us and I felt really awkward trying to figure out if I was supposed to order at the counter or take a seat 4or 5 people looked without even greeting us. Service is slow, but food is worth it if you're not in a rush. It was also a struggle to pay finally went up to the counter and despite again, 3-4 people looking at me (no one offered to go get somebody who could help or even say hold on we'll be with you shortly) was able to pay after about 5 minutes of confused, awkward waiting. read more

As you can see from the photos, it was a very rainy evening and we wanted something good to eat for dinner as we were headed west from Nashville on I-40. I'd had this Indian restaurant on my radar for a while thanks to Yelp. The food was amazing! It arrived quickly and there was lots of it. Enough was leftover for lunch tomorrow. The restaurant is in an old log building that surely must've been a home-cooking kind of place in the past. Well now it's great Indian home cooking! I noticed they have quite a takeout business, as well. You know you're in the right place when you see that almost everyone in the restaurant and for takeout were Indian. read more

The veg biryani was good. I got hot spicy def was hot lol. Portions and price ok. Went inside and ordered takeout. The garlic naan was really bland as u can see in pic. The biryani was flavorful a lot of herbs and spices chew slowly. The service was dry but its all good. No online ordering on website. Location good. Better than average thankfully in terms of flavor. We stopped here for takeout leaving Nashville. I had heard good things as this is the closest Indian in our area. I was a little frightened when we couldn't understand each other on the phone. I was pleasantly surprised with a fast on time order that was delicious. We had chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, veggie korma, and garlic naan. The naan was some of the best I have had. We preferred the chicken tikka over the butter chicken here for flavor. All the spice was medium and I would t need to go any further. It had enough kick for our group. The veggie korma actually had cheese cubes and some whole cashews which was different for me but very good. We will pick up from here again. We also had plenty of rice for everything. read more

Despite living fairly close, we were unaware of this restaurant until our daughter told us about it. They evidently rely on word of mouth to bring folks in to this out of the way spot. We went for lunch today, but could only get take away from 2-4 PM, presumably to allow them to prep for dinner. We were able to eat in the restaurant, but having the food in take away containers worked out well as there was so much food we were able to easily take it home for another meal. The Butter Chicken was fabulous. My wife got Chicken Cashmere. Both entrees were accompanied by a huge portion of rice. Butter Naan bread was the final touch. The restaurant is small and very casual. I was never a fan of Indian food until I ate here. Now, I can't wait to return and sample other items. Highly recommended. read more

We just tried this Indian restaurant for the first time! It is amazing and authentic, you can tell by all the India nationals that came for lunch. If you love Curry spice and great International food this restaurant should definitely be on your list. It is tucked back behind a gas station in a cute log cabin Kingston Springs, Tennessee. The service is great and they also do take out orders. We tried the Samosa Hadt (Chickpea, potatoes with sweet onions and basil in sweet curry sauce) it was delicious! We also had the Curry Chicken and Curry Lamb both ordered spicey. If you don't like hot spicy food then order it normally as it comes. You order it medium or hot or extra hot or non-spicy. We ordered ours spicy and it made our noses run and we had to eat more of the long grain rice to cool it down. So I recommend ordering it normal or non-spicy, but this place needs to be on your bucket list for sure!!! read more

A large group of my coworkers came after we did a zip lining experience nearby, and we were exceedingly pleased with the entire experience at this restaurant. We tried numerous dishes, including chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, garlic naan, Samosas, and their mango drinks(can't recall the name). We had very quick service despite the size of our party(8), and we started getting our orders in 5-10 minutes. They have multiple spice levels for every palate. My wife and I get takeout here a couple times per month typically. Their food is always fresh and tastes amazing. I almost always get the Lamb Biryani w/ a side of their veggies and my wife loves their Paneer Makhni. Their garlic naan and paneer pakora apps are great additions also! read more

We love Indian food and had high hopes based on what some of the west siders have been sayin. This spot didn't disappoint and lived up to the hype. It's in an atypical charming log cabin-like location just off I-40, and its very easy to access with lots of parking. We were quickly seated and the friendly server came promptly to take our orders. the MOST delicious food I think I've ever had. My Tikki masala was so creamy and almost sweet, and we got so much rice with our order too! My mom got the butter chicken and the sauce was so good. Food came out very quickly as well, and the portion size was perfect for lunch and a trip back home. We live three hours away or I'd be back next weekend! Something has changed and it's super sad. This restaurant has received rave reviews from me before but this most recent visit was terrible. Burnt potato cakes with ice cold sauces. Burnt dry tasteless garlic naan. And the two chicken dishes we ordered were terrible. The chicken is NOT tandoori chicken. It tasted like frozen chicken strips from a giant Sam's club bag with absolutely NONE of the proper flavors. The gravies were tasteless. And they even look different than when they first opened. They lack the creaminess they used to have as well. The spices in the rice were burnt and have the rice a bitter flavor. And the service was SO SLOW. I hate to say it but we probably won't be back. read more
