This review update is mainly for the uncomfortable feeling the server (Natalia) made us have. She was so rude and got worse after we purchased the signature drink "Tequila Honey Bee". She literally slammed everything used in the process and mixed it with the worse attitude. She also mistreated her coworkers and raised her voice enough we could heard her on the other side of the kitchen. AWFUL. I speak Spanish and she wasn't saying very nice things to them. Other than that the food was still good but we ordered it to stay there and was presented with plastic to go containers, not what we expected. She made it so unpleasant to be there and enjoy. I went back again, this time to eat inside (I ordered to go the first time and it was delicious). I enjoyed my butter chicken wrap and the tamarind sauce that came with it. The other sauce tasted like a mayo based sauce and I didn't like that one too much. The wrap left me full and satisfied. My friend ordered the salad and added chicken. I can't believe how inexpensive it was. Also so fresh and had so many fruits and veggies on it. Will definitely be back. There is plenty of indoor seating and outside through the back door there is more seating. Parking is validated which is a plus. This spot is located inside of Hunter Station. There is validated parking available outside of the entrance to the building. I'm new to Indian food but I was excited to finally get to stop by. There's a super cute bar, indoor seating, and outdoor seating available. You order at the front and then a staff member brings you your food to the table. I ordered a salad with fried chicken, rice, and garlic naan (warm, flavorful, 10/10). I also requested some pickled red onions. The pickled red onions were so delightful, tangy, and sweet. With the salad, I had a lemon vinaigrette and it also came with two other complimentary sauces. I was not expecting the portion size of the salad or the chicken. The prices are so affordable! Then I noticed there are different staff there now they seem to spend most of their time hiding out in the kitchen and have very little interest in serving the portion size has gone down, the quality has definitely gone down. Hunters Station is a great spot for easy takeout options in general, and Turmeric & Co. fits right in with fun and flavorful Indian fusion options. My husband and I placed a delivery order through UberEats, and we were especially impressed with the portion sizes and quality for the price. Whenever I order Indian food for takeout, I always like to order enough for leftovers, so we got several different options from their menu. My favorite is tied between the Chicken Tikka Masala (classic) and the Chicken Korma. We also tried the Saag, which was good, but that's never been my go-to. The Garlic Naan was seasoned well and full of garlicky flavor, and the Tandoori Roti was light, crispy, and utterly dippable. All of the main courses came with a generous side of rice. Something I've noticed with other popular Indian food spots in Nashville is that they're pretty expensive. Turmeric & Co. offers a great value for the flavor and caliber of their food. It's safe to say that we have a new favorite Indian food restaurant on the East side! I'd love to dine in soon as well - their cocktail and dessert menus look incredible. read more

Absolutely every time we go to turmeric and Co it's a 10 out of 10, The bartender always has some great creative drink that's absolutely gorgeous and perfect for pictures, the lady who brings out the food is always so kind and nice and always ask if we need anything else, the food is always hot and fresh and absolutely the most flavorful thing in that complex, and the drinks are not only beautiful they are so tasty very nice. Fantastic Indian restaurant with classic favorites and interesting fusion options. We sampled the berry mimosa which is great for people that like a sweeter cocktail, and the Lychee margarita which is more on the sour side. The butter chicken was fantastic but more on the tart side which is my preference. For appetizers I always enjoy a pakora which was delicious but the butter chicken Kathi roll is something I will be thinking about as a stand out favorite. This was a great spot to visit! The bartender TJ made my friend a mocktail based on her likes, which he specifically came over to question to make sure she got a mocktail she enjoyed! The food was well flavored and great fusion adaptations. I find many fusion places are too centered around the American palette, but this spot is great for the mix of Indian and American flavors. Nestled in hunter's station is a great new Indian fusion spot. Went with a group and ordered much of the menu to try. I can't say we had a single bad item in the bunch. I can summarize this restaurant as 'Neither here, nor there'. Yet another time Yelp review did not reflect my experience. I will say the cocktails were exceptional, which is why the rating is at least 3. (My friend and husband tried the cocktails, Bay of Bengal and Tigress). And in starters, the vada, and onion pakora were good. The actual food though, which is essentially some pastas, the makhani trattole and sweet potato gnocchi, were not palatable. Not sure what it was, but overwhelmingly cinnamon flavor. Whatever it was, couldn't have more than one bite. And my 5 year old's butter pasta which is probably the simplest to do, was also not good. They were out of potatoes, so couldn't try that set of their menu options. But essentially we ended up going to a different restaurant and having a proper desi dinner. What a great place! It became quite busy just after we arrived, but the staff handled it beautifully. They communicated well and courteously. We order the Aloo Papdi Chaat, the butter chicken tostada, and the Makhani Trotolle. It was all incredible, but the Aloo Papdi Chaat really stood out. We were given vada on the house and it was great, too. We're looking forward to returning and bringing friends. The vibe was friendly and warm. We really had great interactions with every staff member. We felt really welcome, and that the staff was proud of their menu and service. Drinks were great, too. I hate to do it but I would not recommend this place to a friend. For a food hall the food was overly expensive, extremely slow and not tasty. The service unfortunately was not the best. We ordered three dishes the lamb meatballs, chicken 615, and butter chicken tostada. The lamb meatballs is one of those India Italian type fusions I would not mix with a heavy tomato base and not well seasoned lamb. The butter chicken tostada was probably the best of the bunch with a well flavored balance and crispy tostada. Unfortunately there was a massive chicken bone that could've easily taken out a tooth if I had bitten into it. The chicken 615 hit you in the mouth with its oil and very small pieces of chicken. The pickled vegetables on the side were delicious especially the cabbage. We were given complimentary Naan as our food took so long to come out. For three small plates without the best taste this place was highly overrated and I'll not be heading back. read more

Ended up here for lunch almost by accident. I'm a fan of Indian food, and my wife had never tried it before. We order the Chicken Tikka Masala, along with Butter Chicken Rolls. Both dishes were excellent, and the accompanying sauces were distinct and delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the bartender/server was willing to make changes to my watermelon Mojito when I mentioned I couldn't taste much mint. It was a very good drink; it just didn't have as much mint flavor as I expected. The server also brought us a small sample of one of their desserts. rasmisu, which was kind of like a tiramisu with a pistachio crumble on top.
