This is the best place for a delicious churrasco! Cooked to perfection and the sangria is really good also.

Went here for a baby shower at La Palmas and had a great experience. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire event, making sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests were taken care of. The food was delicious across the board, and the desserts were just as good -- fresh, flavorful, and well presented. Overall, it was a wonderful venue for a special occasion, and we truly appreciated the level of service we received. Would definitely recommend for events and celebrations.

A little expensive but food and service is usually good. The Churrasco is the star of the show here. Its flavorful and a good amount of food. They have a lunch special which I think it's $27 but it's smaller. Dinner price it's $41 and it's good. Also their sandwiches are sizable and flavorful as well even though not promoted as much as the steak it is good. This place is a West New York and Hudson county staple. It's been open ever since I was a baby. Try it. You won't regret it

Las Palmas's restaurant in West New York, New Jersey serves the best Churrasco in all of Hudson County. All of the waiters are friendly and very accommodating. And your meal always comes out quickly and done to perfection. The ambience of this restaurant is quite enjoyable. This place is always full a families enjoying themselves. I would definitely be visiting this establishing when I'm in this area. Now go and try it out for yourself and enjoy!

Okok, you might have heard Las Palmas as being the best Churrasco in all of Hudson County, and I thought it was bold statement so had try for myself... parked in a lot in the back which has to be paid for but not expensive. I made my way to the 2nd floor as this is where I have been told is a bit of the fancier seating (they also have a 1st floor but more casual). Plenty of seating and was sat fairly quickly on a Friday night. There were two option of Churrasco and I went with the bigger original cut and was not disappointed. Very tender and full of flavor. Two types of sauces were given and as well as only one side i chose moro rice which was good. Calamari as an app was a good mix of flavor for me to start. Only thing i wish they provided as they looked to be a bit of a fancier aesthetic was bread and butter, but they do not

I've been coming here for years, unfortunately it seems the quality of ambiance and food has slowly declined over time. The service was a bit slow too. I ordered the churrasco, on yelp there's a churrasco pequeño and well upon ordering they only sold one version. The rice was good, a smaller portion than I'd hope. Experience was okay, price was average.

We were sat fairly quickly though the place was packed. The server came quick and gave great recommendations. The sangria was a good strong but I wish it tasted more like wine than juice. The parrillada was delicious and cooked to the right temperature. The yuca fries we got on the side were perfectly crispy. The flan was so good too. The tres leches though had too much sugar in the frosting and not enough of the milks.

If you love "churrasco" steak this is the place to go. All the food is good Cuban food but the steak is the gem. Open late , quick service and the steak portion is enough for sharing.

The service at Las Palmas is great! I have celebrated 2 birthdays and attended their New Years Eve party which was an incredibly experience. They really went all out for the New Year's Eve party, safe to say id attend again! The food is amazing, my favorite so far is the creamy chicken and their Churrasco! They have a first floor and a second floor. The top floor is best if you want to come with your family. Nicely lit all around. Great vibe!

Best Cuban food in New Jersey! We live in Tampa, Fl but when we visit PA, NJ, or NY we make it a point to come here. Put it this way... we always say we're going to try different places and we end up here for both lunch and dinner. The churrasco is huge and popular but my favorite, which is the also huge and underrated, is the palomilla steak. OMG getting hungry writing this review and thinking about it. Everything authentic Cuban, like me.

We came on a Friday night and we were seated downstairs. We order ceviche, tostones con camarones and the churrasco. The three of us shared and it was more than enough. The churrasco was the best part of all three dishes. The ceviche needed more flavor it was a little bland. I didn't like that they chopped the shrimp for the tostones. The passion fruit sangria was delicious that we order two pitchers. They have an upstairs area where they play live music and there's a bar area. The servers don't come offer to the table.

Came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend and his cousin. As I walk in the restaurant I can smell the delicious food was cooking behind the grill. Server were very nice and quick on seating us. Once we were sit we got the menu and started to order. We got the shrimp with garlic and calamari as an appetizer. Then we got drinks, I had an mojito and the cousin had a glass of red wine. After the appetizer I order a fried red snapper and they got the steak. Everything tasted delicious and we were full, the portion and price are reasonable.

For starters, they have free 1-hour parking (with validation) right next door which is a huge perk! Second, they're cash only. Third, this is definitely a local spot and despite a slight language barrier, the staff were incredibly warm & friendly. We ordered the Grande Pan con Bistec w Queso which is their large steak sandwich. We decided to split it and ended up ordering another sandwich midway through because it was that good. The sandwich is simple - steak, fries, onions, and cheese. The bread was the perfect texture and thickness, the steak was plentiful, the fries were salty & crispy, and the onions were tangy & bright. They're also known for their smoothies so we got two. Mamey is a tropical fruit tree native to southern Mexico and Central America. The flavor is closest to a melon, sweet potato, and caramel. I enjoyed this one but it's definitely on the sweeter side. Guanabana is soursop which is more custardy, sweet like banana and tangy like pineapple. I absolutely loved this one! This meal was so simple yet so satisfying. I highly recommend checking them out!

We had a reservation and got our seats quickly. We went to see the World Cup final and unfortunately there was only one large screen on the lawn area in front and we weren't able to see it well from our table. A DJ was playing as well so we were unable to hear the game. The music how we was great and he played Latin music - both new and old. Great playlist. To start the drinks were all great although a bit on the sweet side. It was rather busy so drink took a minute and water was also not refilled as quickly as I would have liked. Food was amazing! Everyone loved their dishes. The oxtail was amazing and super tender and flavorful. The white rice with maduros eeew great and the side of black beans. The flan was such a beautiful presentation. There was vanilla ice cream and some cream on top. The cream was a bit sweet so I didn't love that part but the flan itself was great. The only downside was how full I felt after the dinner. Would definitely return to try some more dishes.

There was also the view of the Hudson River right by our table. Unfortunately, the vibes seemed like the focus of the restaurant though. The food was not bad, but not really worth the steep price.
