However, after the most recent service, I will never be returning. They have repeatedly shaved my dogs face citing her face "being matted." I conducted an experiment this time and made sure I regularly brushed her face and even the morning of, confirmed she was not matted. They shaved her again, told me I was lying when I explained I've been brushing her with a metal tooth comb to make sure she wasn't matted. I acknowledge it's easier to just shave a dogs face than it is to actually groom a dog, but for $150, I expect more than laziness. Further, they clearly do not provide water to the dogs, despite them being there for 7.5 hours. They are also never available via phone. Go elsewhere - even if you have to wait forever to get in. Good groomers are hard to find and you will not find one here.

He gets it right every single time, no exceptions. My dog gets a lamb cut, which requires way more than just clippers it takes serious precision and skill with scissors, and Jay absolutely nails it. The attention to detail, the consistency, and the care he puts into his work are unmatched. People literally stop me all the time to ask who her groomer is, and I always send them straight to Jay that's how good he is. You can tell he genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference. Finding someone you trust with your dog is everything, and Jay is that person for me. If you're even considering booking with him, do it. He's worth it.

I found a groomer that I love but wanted to find one closer to where I purchased my home. I called this place at the time and they weren't familiar with my dog's breed so I opted not to take her there. Fast forward a year later, I call them back because I wanted to finally avoid the commute to Cheshire Bridge. To my delight, BIS let me know they now have a groomer who specializes in doodles so I decide to book the appointment. Unfortunately, the first time I brought her for a bath, she came back with a rash or hot spot on her back paw. She had never had a hot spot up until that point, and she was three. We discussed it could be the shampoo but it was concentrated to one paw, so that didn't quite make sense. The second time I brought her the hair cut was not to my liking and I paid even more than I do for our groomer who consistently does a fantastic job. So, although I appreciate that they found a doodle groomer, she just isn't the one for us. **Also, they may want to ask if the bow or the bandanna is the preference for each dog, b/c not every female dog wears bows. Just a heads up.

They didn't follow my instructions and although the cut was nice, it was much longer than I asked for. I like to interact with the person that's going to be taken care of my pet so I won't be returning despite the fact that this location is super convenient. They have signs on the front door about how everyone is welcome there, but I guess that doesn't include wheelchair users. I certainly didn't feel welcome.

I have been grooming my own dogs pretty much since I brought them home as puppies, so I rarely use…read moregrooming services. However, I've been VERY tired and grooming two mini goldendoodles is just a lot on me nowadays. Today I brought my girl up here for a an express wash and blow dry so I could just do her cut at home. I made certain to comb her out fully and remove any matting. I even confirmed with the front desk person that her coat was free of knots, tangles, etc. This is the second time they have done a very mediocre job at properly drying the coat. Not only was it not blown out all the way, she had THREE matted knots (leg, neck, rear) that were NOT there when I dropped her off. I expected to be able to jump right into using my clippers, it kept jamming up and I had to use my own forced-air dryer and slicker brush to get it smooth enough for the blades. I 100% understand that curly/wavy coated dogs like this require a bit more, but I didn't expect to have to go over 50% of the work I paid to have completed. Edit: What's crazy is I left this review in their private portal for someone to contact me in August. No response until this Yelp review. I'm not sure if I'm being called a liar or not, because the response is all over the place LOL
