I really wanted to love this place. Anita was so nice and sweet to my dogs, but the grooming just wasn't what I imagined. One dog has a very uneven face and the other has I'll cut ears and has had to go to the vet for clipper burn. Not to mention that I had to stay and extra 40 minutes so she could clean up their coats. I spent 10 minutes describing what I wanted when I dropped them off and even left a sheet with guidelines for each dog. I don't understand how things turned out as they did. When I called the next day to tell her that I had to go to the vet, she was not very understanding, made excuses, and didn't offer a partial refund or an apology. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I really wanted to support a small female business owner. read more

We took our two dogs for a bath and nail clipping and on our way home after we picked them up we realized on of our dogs was bleeding from her paw. After getting her home, we realized that she was bleeding from THREE of her paws. They completely mangled her nails. We called and after telling us what we could try at home to fix it, told us we could bring her back in if that didn't work and they could put some powder they have to make it stop. We got her back in the car (with towels on the seats since she was bleeding everywhere) and took her back. They did stop the bleeding, but not once did they offer a refund of any kind. More importantly, not one of them ever even apologized. I will never go back to this place again. read more

Everyone there was so friendly and sweet to my fur baby. They were patient with her when doing her paws (she had a bad experience last time with our past groomer) and she came out happy and not shaking like she typically has whenever being at the spa. I love the care and attention they give to my dog. Buster is a hairy 100lb Shepard mix who does not like his feet to be touched. The people at pupncuts are always able to get him looking his best and even finish before their 3-4 hours estimated time. I have been totally self isolating my family as I have a newborn and elderly mother helping us for the year so we can't take any risks. I even gave my cockapoo a home Covid haircut in April after 5 mths. It took me 4 hours and turned out just ok. I finally decided to get Chewbacca groomed, he hasn't been since Nov 2019. I have to say Pup n Cuts Brookhaven did an AMAZING job w great Covid protocol. So happy I found a place right in my backyard that does such a good job. They are excellent groomers and they really love on your pet. Given that I own a high maintenanced metrosexual canine it's important that he's with people who know how to handle him. Pup n Cuts does just that. They are efficient, professional and very accommodating. Often I call last minute on a busy day and they still fit me in. What's even better is they are timely and respectful of your schedule. Very great people. I took my little maltese shih Tzu mix in to get a hair cut and they are great. About the same price as the others around the area and they do a fantastic job. I always get the puppy cut and they put a little bow in her hair as well. only con is their parking is not so great, especially if its raining. but that wont drop a star down in my books. read more

New to the area and tried out Pup-N-Cuts because of the location and reviews. Called to make an appointment a few weeks in advance for my mini-goldendoodle. The woman I talked to over the phone was very nice and helpful. I asked if they had any experience grooming goldendoodles and she assured me that they see them daily. Drop-off went pretty smooth and I provided specific details on the length I wanted (.5in), and to trim up around the face and tail. The lady at drop-off asked if I wanted her to be hand-cut (for extra $$) and I said no, please use the buzzer (3 blade). $65 was the agreed price for the groom, which seamed reasonable. 5 hours later, I came to pick-up. First issue, I paid (and tipped) before I saw my dog. Immediately upon seeing my dog, it was clear that she wasn't cut at all (except around her face, they didn't even trim her tail). I asked the woman if they cut her body at all and she looked at the notes and replied "it looks like they did a brush through" (whatever that means). I told her that I had specifically asked for her to be cut .5in with the 3 blade. She didn't have a response and didn't seemed concerned that I was unhappy with the service. A customer was waiting behind me to pick up, so we left. Overall, what originally seemed like a reasonably priced groom ended up being a $65 bath and face trim. Since they didn't cut her (removing mats) I'll be taking her to another groomer very soon. Very unfortunate experience for a first time (potentially frequent) customer. read more

My mother's dog is very.....opinionated and can be quite wiggly and hard to groom. She was way overdue for a haircut. Tried this place today on the vets recommendation and was NOT disappointed. For all you yelpers out there who see the 4 stars on here and ignore the bad reviews- i was like that too until I took my puppy there. I would give 0 stars if I could simply because of how badly thy butchered his fur. One side of his leg/butt is completely bald, his back is all choppy - looks like a 5 year old tried to shave him. I have never seen a more uneven cut in my life. The worst part is - we had to pay/tip before we even got the chance to see him and it was $80 for our 14 pound puppy. Update - just had to take my dog to the vet to have his glands empties. They weren't emptied during the groom even though it was supposed to be included in the services we paid for. read more
