Puppycut grooming is the best salon I've ever been to. The dogs there get thorough haircuts, the stylists make sure that not a single hair goes missed. I've also noticed that when my dog goes here vs other grooming places that his feet and in between his eyes get trimmed a lot shorter, which is super helpful so he doesn't slip and slide around/ so he can see- both things I'm sure are SUPER helpful for him in his old age. It's a very low stress environment that my dog (who HATES the groomers) is able to settle down in. Apparently he even fell asleep at one point! Wow! First, I want to say the grooming itself was very well done -- my Yorkie looked beautiful. However, the communication and follow-up from the owner were a major issue. My appointment time was changed without confirmation, and even then I was flexible and offered to reschedule for another day. I was then told to still bring my dog in at the original time, only to receive unprofessional and accusatory messages afterward. Instead of acknowledging the scheduling miscommunication, the follow-up communication focused on explaining internal frustrations, including staffing limitations and having to come in on a day off, which was implied to be my responsibility. I also found the continued back-and-forth messages unnecessary and unprofessional rather than focused on resolving the issue respectfully. While the grooming work was great, the communication experience was not. Based on that, I chose not to return. Sharing this for others who value clear scheduling, flexibility, and professional communication. read more

We had a very bad experience with this pet groomer- Puppycuts. My Husband took Bentley to the groomer on 1122/24 full of life happy, with a smile. Today is 11/24/24, Bentley hasn't smiled since I'll called Puppcuts right away, aftet mmy Husand had brought Bentley home on Friday 11/22/24, there was a answering machine, and still No one has called me back. $80 to shave my dog bald! I'm not a Yelp review person, but I'm so disappointed in my dogs grooming experience here. I've gone a few times and normally love our golden doodles cut, but this last time I picked my dog up we got in the car and there was blood everywhere. I called them and they said it wasn't from them drilling her nail too low, but it must of been her jumping off of the table and scratching her nail. I understand mistake are made, but tell me before handing her off to me only for me to find out by seeing blood. Then to get home noticed her tail, ears, and pony wasn't even touched. As well as the back of her head having multiple uneven spots. I reached out to get her fixed and today I pick her up and still her ears, pony, and tail weren't touched. I sent pictures of what she normally looks like and thought we were on the same page. I paid $120, and you would think they would of done a good job on her with a second attempt. read more

I dropped my Shih tzu puppy for a groom and less than 20 mins of dropping her off, I got a call from them saying my puppy's eyes where about to fall off of her head after a bath, & for me to take her to an emergency vet ASAP. I arrived within 10 mins and noticed she looks normal. One of the guys said my puppy just literally pushed her left eye back in her head. They handed me my wet puppy and off I went home and dry her off myself. She is doing fine, her eyes are intact, and no emergency vet was needed. It would have cost me an irrelevant vet bill because these people with no medical professional think they've never see a Shih Tzu's eye so big like they were about to pop off her head. My Chihuahua doesn't let anyone else touch his feet and usually can't get thru all 10 toes while getting them trimmed but they get the job done. I took my two babies to get groomed today and they were both hurt. One had a cut on his paw close to one of the nails. He was bleeding when I picked him up. The other one has a deep cut in her chest. It looks like the cut a piece of her skin off. I have to pay around $500 to get her healed. She's in pain. I also saw another puppy in a cage still very wet and he was shaking. I told one of the ladies that he looked cold but she said that they couldn't use a dryer on him because he gets seizures.
