Finger licking pupusas, not greasy and made to order.
    Nena C.

Tried this new local Salvadoran restaurant recently, and let me tell you... we loved it so much we went back again within the same week! The food is incredibly authentic and very reasonably priced. I can honestly say these are some of the BEST pupusas I've ever had--perfectly made, not greasy at all, and you can truly taste the pride and quality in every bite. We ordered the yuca frita with chicharrón and it was finger-licking good. We also tried pupusas de revueltas, bean & cheese pupusas, and the atole de maíz... and wow. That atole left us craving more--we literally went back two days later just for it! They're new in town, so I really hope the community comes out to support them. Parking is easy, the staff is extremely friendly, and they offer a great selection of traditional aguas frescas. Their menu is super authentic with everything from the mouth watering traditional dishes to comforting home-style Salvadoran cooking. Me and my family will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! Walked in: cramped, no polish, just shelves of cola bottles and cookies from back home, kitchen haze thick enough to taste. Three pupusas landed--soft, cheesy, edges crisp--and that smoky smell rode home with me. Nothing fancy, kinda rough around the edges, but damn if it doesn't feel like a quick dip into Latin America. Worth the detour if you're craving real over pretty. For payment, make sure you have cash or zelle. They won't take any other method.

It's a little hole in the wall place with only street parking. On Tennessee in the not so nice area. I was able to park right in front of the place, so didn't have to walk around too much. Walked in as someone else was walking out. It smells heavenly! No frills, old faded menus on the wall, 2 ladies behind the counter cooking. Not much room to wait. Pupusas are $4 each but they told me they were running a special 3 for $10 so I got 6 for $20. Carne asada with cheese. Yum! Was told 30 minutes and it started to get smoky in there, lol so then waited in my car. Please note, It is cash only, take out only. Before I went back in, the lady who took my order came out to me, (it was more like 10 min) with them all packed in a foil pan. And the pickled cabbage mix and sauce packed separately. It stayed hot and fresh. They are thick and full of meat and cheese. And so delicious! It was wayyyyy too much food. I could have ordered 3 for us. One pupusa filled me up ! We had leftovers that our sons came over and enjoyed. If you live any where near, and love pupusas and authentic Salvadoran food- GO!

We loved their red spicy sauce and super crunchy fresh curtido. They are packed into small zip lock bags. I forgot to take photos since I was hungry. This little shop is in the middle of nowhere next to a small auto parts shop and parking is limited. The immediate area is ugly and industrial but the pupusas keep us coming back. Best taken to go. It's not a comfortable spot to eat in. We paid 4 dollars per pupusa to go. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My go to is the 3/$12 Revuelta pupusas and the Plantains with the beans . Top tier beans and plantains. I am so glad I found this place. It is very close to my work. I do recommend calling in your order at least 30 minutes before so that it'll be ready for you to pick up. sometimes they do not answer their phone but they will give you a call back. Keep in mind they do not accept tap pay, but they do accept Zelle and Venmo if you need to make a mobile payment. It is small and cozy inside but there are at least 4 tables if you want to dine in. They do have a few tvs if you were there to relax while waiting or out with your family. Being new to the area, this place will definitely be my go to for pupusas.
