It is not possible for a coffee to take 20 minutes to make. They should put more customer service and be more busy, they didn't even have people to be super busy. Big fan of Salvadoran food and found a wonderful place to go in South Carolina. The food is so fresh and pupusas are made once ordered. It does take a while to get food but it is well worth. The food is wonderful, it's the people inside that made sure I would never order from there again. I have always order delivery, but happens to be right around the corner, so went inside. I was charged more for my food after being ignored for almost minutes. And if you are not, Hispanic, I would not recommend ever stepping foot in this establishment, unless you just want to hand over your wallet. I was charged DoorDash delivery prices for food. I ordered some items para llevar (take out). Ordered the zucchini pupusas and a paella salvadorena (a version of seafood paella with mussels and shrimp). The pupusas were bundled with some cabbage slaw which was very good. The slaw is made with some sort of vinegar instead of the creamy liquid in cole slaw. The pupusas were very good. The paella salvadorena is awesome. I was very satisfied that I will revisit Marisol sooner than later. read more

The gal taking the order walked away and called another gal over who gave me a look like "why did she call me over here!?!" After taking my order, it took them over 30 minutes to make it. I sat and watched as the kitchen staff ate food while preparing other food, chit chatting and looking at pictures on their phones. When I got home with my food (2 things that came with their plantains was beans on the side and a scrambled egg swimming in oil. We've been to a few restaurants with pupusas in other states and these are the best! The zucchini pupusa was my favorite and the chicken was excellent too. OMG, their pupusas are magical! I was visiting my grandparents from out of town. Myrtle Beach is not known for it's diversity in food, but I was craving something different. I wasn't sure about the size of the pupusas from the pictures on DoorDash, so I ordered more. In reality, even though I was pretty hungry, I was only able to eat two. My other two made an amazing breakfast, after I warmed them in a skillet. I ordered 4 of the shrimp and 1 cheese. My grandparents had never had pupusas, so they shared the cheese one, and they both liked it. I really like the light tomato sauce that comes with it. This is one good pupuseria here in Myrtle Beach. I wasn't looking for one but Yelp help us find it. Good service and great food. We ordered loroco and chicharron pupusas to go. Also ordered the yuca frita and carne and the chicken pasteles. Except for the pasteles - empanadas- the food was impeccably salvadorean. Now those pasteles still need some work. I'll come back next year during vacation. By the way if you're on the beach in Ocean Drive it's a good 15 minutes to get there. Que viva El Salvador! read more

They're menu is typical, authentic Central American, with favorites like pupusas, empanadas (pasteles), and plátanos, but there are also some other treats that are harder to find made this authentically and well, like their creations with elote. Come, check it out, eat- don't be afraid, the prices are small and the menu's in both English and Spanish. My husband and I came here a couple of days ago for dinner. We had cheese pupusas, carne asada, and a horchata to drink. The pupusas were fairly good but were only given a little but of tomato sauce for them. The carne asada wasn't that good and the tortillas that came with it were not good at all. For authentic El Salvadoran food, this is the place. Famous for the corn stuffed tortillas, the food choices are amazing. My order was the chicarron and queso- pork and cheese. The side "garnish" was a cabbage and carrot slaw soaked in a pickled vinegar, with a hint of fire, finished with oregano. Also ordered the chicken empanadas. These were a bit greasy BUT didn't deter from the taste! There were onions and green peppers also stuffed into a deep fried patty. To top off, the pina drink was phenomenal! It was fresh squeezed pineapple juice, still taste the grind/pulp! read more
