A 20-minute bus ride, with about 10-minute bike ride in below-freezing weather. All to get to my massage appointment I was so eagerly anticipating. By the time I arrived my fingers were numb and my face was red from the cold. I was SO looking forward to the warmth of a cozy massage table. And on the door, I see a sign (among a bunch of other, unprofessional, handwritten notes taped to the door) that said they had closed early today. I wish I had taken a photo. I never received even so much as a cancellation notice -- or a phone call. I really hate to write a one-star review for a small business, but eff you, Rapha Therapy. A very fundamental part of being a professional is actually showing up for your appointments. There is a full service drink bar serving espresso and other delicious drinks. Furthermore, the retail section has got a lot smaller but there are still beautiful items to find such as candles, clothing, etc. The owners are super pleasant along with all staff members making every visit such a joy.
