I have struggled with extreme PMS and irritability for more than a year now. It seemed more aggressive than normal in that it was affecting my mood even outside of usual times in my cycle. I consulted my Dr. who recommended a hormone therapy birth control which I wasn't interested in at all. I looked for an alternative, and acupuncture was something I stumbled upon as something that can be beneficial. Nearly 3 months in and I am astounded at the results. My treatments, along with herbal supplements, have worked wonders. I physically feel better, sleep better and can control my emotions so much better. It's almost shocking how much this has helped so I advocate for acupuncture pretty much any time anyone says they have an ailment now. My cycles are so much easier now too. I no longer have extremely heavy bleeding and cramping. In addition to the emotions/PMS/menstrual cycles being improved, I have had what I consider minor pain issues in my hip and lower back, and they are immediately rectified after a treatment. It's incredible. I look forward to my treatments at Sacred Lotus and would recommend it to anyone seeking relief from pain, emotional issues, or heavy cramping during menstrual cycles. I never received even so much as a cancellation notice -- or a phone call. I really hate to write a one-star review for a small business, but eff you, Rapha Therapy. A very fundamental part of being a professional is actually showing up for your appointments. I understand life throws occasional curve balls, but if you need to "close early" on a consistent basis -- and since so many people have reviewed that you do, it looks like this is a pattern -- you should probably NOT be doing this work. NOTE: I didn't see inside, but the handwritten notes taped all over the front door screamed "this is a dump" to me.
