I stopped by Pura Vida inside Dadeland Mall for breakfast. It has its own storefront within the mall, so you can order to go or stay and enjoy your meal there. They have a good amount of tables available for patrons who want to sit down. The space itself has a lovely aesthetic, bright, clean, and inviting. I ordered the Fire Egg Wrap, made with a pasture raised egg omelette, mozzarella, feta, avocado, spinach, bell peppers, and olive oil on a whole wheat tortilla. It was phenomenal. The eggs were fluffy and tasted just right, and the avocado and fresh veggies made the whole thing filling and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Definitely a great way to start the day. The wrap came with their spicy sauce on the side, although I would not really call it spicy. To me, it was more sweet and tangy and honestly a little meh, but the wrap itself was good enough that it did not need the sauce anyway. I also ordered an unsweetened matcha. It was decent, although I personally prefer a stronger matcha flavor. This one was on the lighter side, which I can appreciate is probably more approachable for most people. Service was fast and efficient, with hardly any wait time. Overall, a very satisfying breakfast and a nice option if you are at Dadeland Mall and looking for something fresh and filling. The food here is very healthy and delicious. I will say that it is moderately priced. The chicken Caesar wrap has kale in it and the croutons are delicious, I love that they make their Caesar dressing in house. The smoothies are very refreshing, I had the coco azul and it had coconut water, bananas, pineapple, mango, collagen, protein, hemp seed and shaved coconut. The smoothie gets its blue hue from the spirulina they add to it. As a little sweet treat my mom and I shared the orange poppy loaf which was so zesty but also a bit sweet. I also love their energy bites; from the peanut butter to almond butter ones. They are all amazing! I love that they opened this location in Dadeland mall because after a day of shopping, it's great to have something healthy and filling. My girlfriend and I were in Miami for my niece's wedding and we were killing some time. We decided to grab a bit at Dadeland Mall and we walked right by this place. Several folks recommended it and it didn't disappoint. The salads and wraps were very well portioned. There was plenty of food provided. The service was excellent. We ordered at the restaurant and then took a table in a common seating area to wait for our order. It was brought to the table for us. The ambiance was exactly like you'd expect for a mall. The biggest issue was the extremely loud music coming from the kitchen, which could be clearly heard throughout the dining area and made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. In addition, I noticed a fly coming directly from the kitchen area, which raised concerns about cleanliness and food hygiene. That was honestly unpleasant to see as a customer. Overall, I would rate my experience 4/10. The excessive noise from the kitchen and the cleanliness concern significantly affected my visit. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and it was very good, but it was better when I asked for an extra side of dressing, my main complaint with Pura Vida is that it's so dang expensive. Came here for a healthier option for breakfast. We noticed the night before that there was a constant line here and we knew we had to check it out. The menu is all delish and I wanted to try several things. I opted for the snack of the harissa hummus (which by no means is small) which came with tahini too. I chose the toasted pita to go with instead of cruites. It was the best tasting hummus. I could've just had this for breakfast but I was told that the snack size portions are really small..that was a lie. So I had also ordered the charred fruit toast and washed it all down with the summer refresher. The granola, fruit and honey combo was absolutely delish on toasted sourdough bread. Other had the smoked Sammy with and with out a side of eggs. Quality of eggs you can see by how rich the egg yolk color was. We also had coffee and an almond croissaint. Everything was tasty with no complaints. The coffee comes with no sugar so you add that to your liking. The quality of food was delish and trust me the bill reflects it. But taking care of yourself is what's important. Healthier food options are out here people. Service is meh depending on who's the cashier. The app has issues often so you can't scan loyalty number or code and cashiers require code only. But if you are able to make the app work later on in the day, message contact and submit receipt for points. Additionally, the service charge is included but only the guy cashier will tell you. Vegan modifications and subs for items are not allowed in person, per the girl cashier today. So if you're vegan, good luck. The only reason I leave a 4 star is for the kitchen consistency of yummy food, the guy at the register and the chat customer service for fixing my loyalty rewards every time. It's never really crowded and lines aren't long unless a bunch of people order coffee at the same time so ambiance generally remains clean and with moderate walk through. read more
