Purcell's was able to respond quickly and carefully extract our Range Rover Sport from the storage locker where it was stored for 6 months even though the battery was totally dead and the car was in PARK. Winched it onto flatbed and zipped it off to Advanced Auto Clinic for repairs. Well done! read more

BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING. If I could put zero stars - I would. I called to see how much the towing would be and when I went to pick up the car at Purcell's location, the invoice included several hidden fees totaling approximately $100 more than what was quoted to me. To say that the employee at the front desk was grumpy is an understatement. In addition, he lacked customer service skills. There really should be some regulations on the way they lie about their fees. I DO NOT recommend them. read more

I used their service today. Mary was my angel. My tire blew out on 43 on my way home from Lake Geneva. She came and loaded my car up within minutes from my phoning her. Mary drove me back to my home in Rockton, Illinois. I so appreciated her sincere kindness and concern for my situation. Highly recommended! I was in Lake Delevan for a wedding when my car broke down and I needed a tow truck to get my car to a garage for service. I knew nothing of the area or local businesses so after reading reviews I choose Purcells towing and I'm very glad I did! Joe was very nice and professional and after explaining my situation he recommended Hunter auto service, said they were honest and would not take advantage. So I left to go talk to them and found that to be very true. The gentleman I spoke to there, told me he could try to fix it but because of the special tools required it wasn't likely that he'd be able to do it correctly. I appreciated his honesty, thanked him for his time and went back to Joe and had him tow it to the Subaru dealership in Janesville. It's nice to know that when you were 100 miles away from home and you have a problem there are still decent honest people to work with and help you get it resolved! I was stranded with a flat on the highway for over an hour trying to deal with Roadside Assistance from our Insurance Company when I finally gave up and started calling local tow companies myself. Local business after business turned me down for one reason or another...didn't have enough staff on a Sunday, trucks were out on calls already, it would be over an hour before I could get help. However, Purcell's came to the rescue in less than 30 minutes all the way from Delevan! Changed my tire in less than 10 minutes and had me on my way. Service was fast and courteous and I was able to drive all the way back to IL on my spare. Thank you!! read more

These owners are wonderful! I can't say enough about this company. They are now in my phone. Completely overcharged and misled my friends with false information. Wouldn't cooperate with their insurance, wouldn't help them and took full advantage of both friends. Wouldn't even tow it to their own, forced them to have their car stay overnight, and charged extra. read more

I have been using Joe and Mary for as long as I can remember. I have had 1000's of cars towed by them (they are my go-to subcontractor) and have always delivered on time and for a very reasonable price. One time they did a small amount of damage on a car, and fixed it pronto, no questions asked, unlike another local tow company that I have on video slamming the car into an object smashing in the trunk and just speeding away trying to avoid the situation. Joe and Mary go out of their way to please people and are a great company to work with, and I am glad to have them here to rely on. read more

They damaged the front bumper of my car when towing it from Fontana, WI. to Crystal Lake, IL. Then they insisted I have the car repaired in Delavan at a auto body shop of their choosing. I sent them an estimate from a auto body shop near my home. They approved the amount of the the estimate. Then check they sent, was short by $80.00. when i contact them, they refused to pay this balance. I highly recommend you do not do ANY business with this company. read more
