We needed a small area (~350 SF) converted to an artificial grass surface for a child's play area. Purchase Green wasn't the least expensive but the product they offered felt softer and higher quality (hopefully) than the other vendors that provided quotes. I got an onsite quote, and also stopped by their office and the staff was very helpful. The sales process was pretty standard and the contacts were friendly. The contracts are sent view email or text. The installation process is why I'm leaving a 3 star review. While the crew was friendly and the area looks nicely done and professionally installed, the crew left a mess of a worksite. Most notably there were multiple long (6"ish) nails left around the play area after the team left for the day. The compactor they used left an oil spot on my concrete and they left a random piece of scrap turf without checking if we wanted the extra material. It was long and large and just another thing I have to deal with in my trash. As the day was wrapping up, I watched a member of the crew make my yard significantly messier with the most half-a** attempt at clean up blowing I've personally witness. It was done with an impressive lack of care that said "don't even bother me, I don't care either way." So I didn't. But I was wondering why they would be blowing the remnants of artificial turf, tiny little bits of chewed up plastic - all over my natural grass, patio and garden. I had to clean up after them, and luckily that's when I found the long nails before a child found them. (They weren't hidden at all, again, a shocking lack of attention to detail when it came to cleaning up the job site.) We're now a couple month in but the turf is functioning as expected. read more

In December 2022, I hired Purchase Green to do the frontage of a Victorian in Petaluma, CA. I, myself was unable to visit the work site, due to ttemporary disability - but I was very picky about getting the best artificial turf for the job - best colour, texture, etc. for this particular placement, best to compliment the paint colours used on the house, etc. Purchase Green worked with me very patiently, giving my assistant a variety of samples to bring to me - and these samples were large enough to provide meaningful comparisons, when set beside each other. Their agents patiently answered all my questions over the 'phone. They were willing & able to work with photos of the frontage area, on which I had drawn my "vision" for turf placement, and semi-circular, benderboard defined areas for turfless soil at the base of shrubs in the frontage area. Their bid was reasonable, their work was both quick & competent, they allowed my assistant to be present & take photos. They cleaned-up after themselves, and assisted me in registering for the warranty of the turf & their work. I recommend then highly! I would hire them again for another propert - and, probably will in 2023. I had a putting green installed in my backyard. Aaron Singh provided the bid and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all questions and was very responsive to text and emails. The bid was significantly cheaper than the other two bids I got. The putting green turned out great. My only constructive input is that the installers did not complete the job on time , didn't show up when they said they would, left for a few hours during the install and left a bit of a mess on the sidewalk. They did not clean up as well as I would have expected. I give the end product a five star and Aaron a five star. I received an automated estimated after a visit. The area was measured at 800 sq ft. I responded to the estimate with some questions. I had 2 other companies out to estiamte. Bought 900 square feet of artificial grass which I installed myself ( still in process ) . Was told to get 1 50 lb box of nails to install which should cover 1000 square feet. The nails only covered 300 square feet. I live over an hour away and when I called to let them know I was shorted on nails, they suggested I pay $80 additional dollars to ship more nails or drive an hour there and back to pick them up. That is not good customer service. Especially when I was told I will ONLY need 1 box ( when I needed 3 boxes ). Put a really bad taste in my mouth after that.
