You'll head to the back to get your equipment (weights, bangles, platform, balls, etc). For the Pure Empower class, we used weights, bangles, and a platform. Jaime was our instructor and kept it super fun with Pitbull as our morning anthem. I love that Jaime incorporates lots of stretching along with lots of tough moves! She assists you on your form and that is ALWAYS appreciated. At each Pure Barre location, I always buy 1 pair of sticky socks as a treat for my workout! Fun way to start your day!

I'm honestly disappointed and frustrated with my experience here. I found out our family insurance…read moreplan offers a Gold's Gym discount, so I tried to apply it to my membership when signing up. My wife is the primary policyholder and submitted the required form with my date of birth, phone number, and all the ID numbers. However, Gold's Gym staff kept insisting my name had to appear on the submitted form--even though the form is generated by an automated email system that only shows the primary policyholder's name no matter what you do. I also had my insurance card (showing both our names) and my ID available, but that still wasn't enough. To add to the frustration, when I tried to talk to someone higher up--like the owner or a manager--to get some common-sense resolution, I got absolutely no help. It was like talking to a brick wall. And to top it all off, they don't even offer a veteran's discount, which I find unbelievable in this day and age. I'm only going to this gym because of the insurance rate, but the sheer lack of common sense and customer service has left me really disappointed. I hope they can improve how they handle straightforward situations like this, because it really shouldn't be this hard. They get two stars just because the equipment is kept up.

I have plenty of money to hire a Personal Trainer to come to my inside home gym . Wanted to support someone in a community, I guess I'll do as rich folks do and hire someone to train me in my home gym. I don't recommend this gym. 100% they reacted the way they did because I am an African-American female.
