I was looking to change up my work out routine, but wasn't sure how until I saw a picture of a running friend of mine and I asked her what she was doing- "Pure Barre- I'm absolutely hooked!" she said. So I decided to stop in PBOP one morning, ask a few questions and observe a class from the doors - it didn't look too crazy or complicated so I signed up for a free class. I was admittedly intimidated the first time there, but the instructor was so nice and patient, and before I knew it the 55 minutes were over. I worked parts of my body that haven't burned or shook in a long time (and I workout & run regularly), and I signed up for the new client special right away. I'm now starting my 3rd month and I feel stronger, see toning everywhere and know it is only going to get better! PBOP is a warm, friendly studio and the staff is truly the best I've ever seen at any gym or fitness studio! They are knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic! The music is great, and, the ladies in every class I have attended are also kind and encouraging! People have asked me about the workout being low impact and can't really believe you sweat too much- trust me the workout is low impact from the standpoint that you aren't doing jumping jacks or running stairs, but it is tough and if you don't sweat, you're probably not lifting, toning or burning properly!! And you can't beat the bonus of the super cute workout clothes they sell! Pure Barre is an amazing place to go if you are trying to improve your body strength and overall health. The workout is an hour of working your core, arms, thighs and butt. It is low impact which is what attracted me to it initially. My knees cannot handle the hard impact of running! When I first started going to Pure Barre last year, it took a few classes to get the hang of the routine and the lingo. All the instructors are extremely helpful and are there to correct your form so you are not only working the muscles but are also not injuring yourself. Each instructor does a slightly different routine so you are not doing the same workout in any two classes. There are always modifications available if you have concerns about being able to complete the exercise. I recommend Pure Barre for anyone! The classes are filled with women of all ages and fitness abilities. They offer many different specials and have fun events such as 'Bring On The Men' where you can share the experience of lifting, toning and burning with a husband, dad, brother or friend. The more you go to class, the more you become a part of the community. It is a positive place where I see many women encouraging each other not only with classes but also with life events going on outside of class. Try it once and you'll be hooked! read more

I was an avid runner until I was introduced to Pure Barre. Now I have an even better addiction! The studio offers a welcoming, warm environment that supersedes the typical "gym/health club" atmosphere. I absolutely love the workouts and I can't say enough about the amazing instructors! They are all unique while respecting the Pure Barre structure. I have experienced a total body transformation since starting Pure Barre about ten months ago. This is truly an all over body workout that tones and strengthens the entire body while allowing each individual to work at their own capacity. The instructors are professional, motivational, and incredibly encouraging! It's like having your own personal trainer guiding you every step of the way to obtain your fitness goals. I have been attending PB classes since the end of September. It was literally my first work out after I had a baby and I struggled through it. Now, it's still incredibly challenging, but I can do more than I thought would be possible. There are things I can do now that I couldn't do before having a baby. I've tried a lot of different workouts hoping that one day I would find one that I truly enjoyed and I finally have. The staff at PB Orland Park are wonderful! They are always happy and willing to help or answer questions. They greet you with a smile and by name. I think it's such a nice thing that they make sure to learn everyone's names. I am coming upon finishing up my third month at Pure Barre- I can honestly say it has become an addiction! Every other type of fitness activity, I usually quit after about a month. Even though Pure Barre really pushes my limits, and I'm sore quite often... I LOVE going. The instructors help you challenge yourself, and push yourself a little further. The instructors are fantastic- they are not only friendly but very helpful in fixing your positions if they notice you are off. It takes time and patience, but you definitely feel your body changing as you keep going. It's a great class and makes you feel so much better about yourself! Pure barre orland park is an amazing studio. It is such a clean and inviting environment. Where else can you work out on carpet in a cozy studio? This is a total body work out which will transform your body and improve your well-being! I signed up for the new client special and then bought the baby bounce back special. I have to say it is worth every penny. They staff at this studio are all so welcoming and the instructors are all out to help you with your workout. I've been a member to big gyms for years and although pure barre is a bit more pricey, I'll never go back to the gym. Great studio, great staff, great workout! read more

I love, love, love Pure Barre in Orland Park! Everyone is so welcoming. The instructors are beyond amazing and they constantly motivate you. I really appreciate how the instructors know everyone by name! These classes are very challenging, but accommodate all levels. I started in December and go around 4-5 times a week. I have noticed so many positive changes in my body and with my running. Most importantly, I feel so much stronger and more confident. I just purchased the New Client special and am only 6 classes in, but I already find myself looking forward to the next one. Every instructor so far has been incredibly kind, helpful, and encouraging. They truly want to make sure that you are getting the most out of each class. I'm working muscles that I can't get to with running and cross training, which is amazing. These classes have just the right amount of energy-not so much that you feel like you can't keep up, but enough to really work up a sweat and feel your muscles being challenged. I love, love, LOVE Pure Barre! I was looking for something new to spice up my workout routine, and this was it. After just one class, I was hooked. I love that I can work my whole body in under an hour. The exercises are challenging, but that's necessary to change your body. I lost 2 inches on my waist and 2 inches on my hips after my first 4 weeks! The staff at the studio are fabulous! I absolutely love Pure Barre Orland Park! A friend introduced me a few months ago and I thought I would just do it for a month and go back to my routine! Yes, it is 55 minutes of challenging physical exercises inspired by Pilates, yoga, and ballet barre movements, but it also challenges your mind/body connection keeping you focused on exactly what you are doing and where you are doing it- allowing you a 55 minute break from life to recharge. I love pure barre! I have been a dancer my whole life and have always worked out at the gym along with some running. I needed to change up my routine and had always wanted to try this. I work in Chicago's Loop and had become addicted to the Bar Method a few years back. I was so happy when Pure Barre opened in Orland Park, finally a barre studio closer to home!
