For me years ago repairs were easy, I just gave him the keys. If we didn't it, he'd send it off to someone and it would get done. We weren't a body shop, nor a detail place, but we knew people. But that was some time ago. Those people are now retired or have passed on. So I'm left to my own resources, asking around and internet research (reviews.) I bought my SUV and there was a slight gap at the bumper after about a month, I did take it back and they just pushed it back. Never looked right. but it was okay. Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. I came across Carrectly, was impressed by the reviews, also was impressed by the pics of Dixon P's bumper repair. So I sent an email requesting a quote for the repair. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. I'm proud to be seen with my vehicle again, instead of walking away quickly. You know how it is when you ride looks trashed. So glad I made this choice.

The beginning of the experience was excellent--quick communication, easy scheduling, and I felt confident I had chosen the right shop. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after I dropped off my car. I dropped it off on a Tuesday with a promised completion date of Friday. Friday came and went with no updates. After multiple calls and texts on my end, I finally heard back on Sunday and was told it would be ready the following Tuesday. I was also offered a complimentary interior detail for the inconvenience, but that never happened. When I finally received my car, there were numerous bubbles under the PPF. I was told to give it a few days for the installation solution to evaporate before reaching back out. I did exactly that, but weeks later many of the bubbles are still there (see photos). David initially responded and told me to bring the car back about two weeks after the install for an inspection. Since then, I've received no response despite multiple calls and texts. It's now been four weeks, and I've essentially been ghosted with no opportunity to have the issues corrected. To make matters worse, the warranty requires annual inspections. If the shop can't schedule a follow-up inspection that was supposed to happen two weeks after installation, I have little confidence they'll be there to support the warranty in the future. The experience started with great customer service but ended with poor communication, missed commitments, and an installation that still has visible defects. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend DPM Auto.

Fix the staining on the driver-side door 2. Fix staining on the back seat interior 3. Complete general interior detailing David started with the lowest-priority item first, which I was initially fine with because he said he needed to get paint/dye to address the staining. I was actually encouraged that we were making progress and agreed to prepay for those materials, which turned out to be a big mistake. For the past month, I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with David and DPM Auto Pros, with no success. I have been completely ignored. There has been no follow-up, no proactive communication, and no effort to complete the priority work we discussed and that I prepaid for. It has now been over a month since I paid for the materials, and I still have no resolution. At this point, it is both frustrating and disappointing. Writing this review means accepting that I likely lost $200 to a company that does not intend to finish the work it agreed to do. Unfortunately, because I paid through Venmo, I have very little recourse beyond sharing my experience publicly. I am now looking for an alternative detailing company to do the work I asked (and paid) David and DPM to do in the first place. I would strongly recommend that others be cautious before working with David and this company and will update this review with the next good detailing company I find so that anyone reading this doesn't have the bad luck of working with David and DPM Auto Pros.

I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. Not cheap, but a worthy investment on an expensive vehicle. I highly recommend.

You don't want to answer the phone and/or wash my car, so I'll go elsewhere. Someone else drove up, seeming equally confused, and drove off after a minute or so. Just before I left I saw a third car pull up and the guy went inside and I think he left behind me, too, without service. So I'm not sure how this place works and I'm not sure they're all that friendly to customers given my experience when I was seeking service.

Dropped of a door shell and a hood for painting, I also supplied Mike with a quart of paint. All he…read morehad to do was to use my paint, prep and spray. I took all the responsibility for color matching. I also removed hardware from the hood and door, including handle, mirror, etc. Mike looked at the job and gave me a quote, in which I agreed without question. The job did not turn out well, painting of the door was not complete, a top section was not painted due to a partially removed molding which they did not remove. Hood had bad edges in which the paint was flaking, final sanding and polishing of the hood was horrible, you could see all the sanding marks. I brought the door and hood back and Mike and he agreed to redo it. I thought that all was good at this time, this all changed when I picked up the parts the following week. Mike removed the trim on the door as he should have done it the first time, but he did not reinstall it as he should, claiming that he is not a "restoration shop" and he does not like to take in business with people that watch YouTube. He then continued with a total melt down and I left the shop feeling confused. I never forced him to take this simple job, I did not tell him how much I wanted to pay and I did not expect to be yelled at by a lunatic when I returned to pick up my parts. So, if you are looking for a professional paint shop and expect to be treated fairly, this is not the place for you. In my opinion, maybe after 40 years of painting, Mike just inhaled way too much paint fumes. I can go on, but you get the picture...
