The bias news programming on the TV in the waiting room is certainly a turn off. HGTV is generally the way to go to for the majority of waiting rooms so as not to offend people. Switching Dentist at this stage of the beginning I have to pay for additional x-rays because my insurance won't cover a second one at this time. I found out from the new dentist that The x-rays that they did are not detailed enough. I'm glad that I've got this all figured out before I devoted anymore time to not being cared for properly.

I do not have dental insurance. He took an X-ray and said I have an infection above where I had root canal 2 years ago and that I needed to go to my endodontist. I was charged $189. My endodontist had a CT image capture done and kept looking at the image saying he did not see any sign of an infection and didn't know why I was referred that and what he could even do as a next step. He stated the pain was most likely from a sinus issue. The total cost was $330 for the visit. I returned to T&P and explained what happened to Dr. Lou. He said the endodontist cost seemed high and dismissed his initial diagnosis saying that it was good we ruled out an infection as a cause for the pain!? He looked at my chipped tooth and said it needed a crown. He pitched his office's dental plan and walked out. He was very unconcerned that I had paid over $500 and had really nothing to show for it. Personally, if I unnecessarily caused someone to spend over $500 I would stand up and offer some help for restitution like reimbursing my initial $189 fee, offer to discount work on the crown, or something. Standing behind one's work, IMHO, tells a lot about a person's integrity and wouldn't trust any doctor or business that doesn't possess it.

I had a very bad experience recently. They sent a text to my husband, who did not have an…read moreappointment, to update my son's and my records. I used my husbands phone to sign the HIPPA forms. Upon arrival the receptionist said that I had to put all of our personal information, insurance info and and medical information into their new portal since they had a new computer system and texted links to me to do it separately for myself and my son. I said that I wished that they would transfer the information from there old system and she said yes, me too. I told her when I was having trouble with the with the portal and she just looked at me. While I was sitting in the waiting room entering information I heard a hygienist come to look for us and the receptionist told her that we cannot go back until I finish entering the portal. While this was going on another patient came in with another person and was in the waiting room cursing including using the F word. Then the receptionist addressed him by his first name and told him he could go back, which led me to believe that she knew him. No, hey sorry about the language, etc. Not a good environment when you have a child/children with you. When we went back to the exam room the hygienist said that the dentist would exam my teeth before she cleaned them and he did; which doesn't seem like a thorough exam to me but it seemed that he was planning to leave for the evening. When the hygienist asked to re-schedule us, I told her that I didn't think that we'd be back. When she asked why, I said that I would include it in my survey response since they normally send a link after appointments. I did mention to bad environment in the waiting room for children and she responded that it wasn't an employee but a patient. I would be apologizing if it was one of my customers but I guess that the medical / dental industry handles things differently. Any-who, I guess they didn't want the feedback since for the first time I did not receive a text with a link to a survey. There has been a lot of turn-over with the hygienist and front office employees since Dr. Wolfe has retired and the service is not the same.

They were all so tiny that fillings are completely unnecessary and wouldn't get worse as long as I improved my dental care. Also, my hygienist at Wolfe Dental was sweet, however the doctor was not. She did not introduce herself to me and did not even tell me I had any cavities until I received my treatment plan and saw it myself.

I really didn't want a crown (though I'm sure I'll need one there in the future), and Dr. Kaur was able to save the tooth. She is a good listener and cares about the input of her patients, then gives the best professional advice. She used great skill and gentleness in repairing the tooth. I love that she uses a gel to numb the area rather than an injection. I think this is a safer option for my care as well as, obviously, more comfortable.

They scheduled me with Dr. Goldenburg. He has a very calm demeanor and has a fantastic sense of humor. He always gets a laugh out of me with every visit...even when I have to get a shot of novacaine. A shot does not hurt me when Dr. Goldenburg does it. I am very comfortable with him and the entire staff! **shout out to Dr. G's assistant, Kayla-woooo** Recently, my tooth fell out, then another. Dr. Goldenburg said he was going to give me a "Hollywood Smile", and I'm 1 visit away from having it! I am not exaggerating when I say that I can't tell the real from the artificial! I was frustrated as I needed to get the process of getting implants going. Thank god for Fleetwood Dental. First of all, the office is extremely clean and comfortable. All of the team members are super nice and helpful. Everyone has beaming positivity which makes each visit great. After telling them about the posts that I've had in for 3 years, they worked on getting me temporary care and worked on getting the parts that I needed. It only took a short amount of time before I got a temporary retainer and eventually temporary crowns. The attention to both detail and my own comfort is something that I really appreciate from the Fleetwood Dental group. Each visit I felt cared for in the highest manor Next and last step is my implants and it is so great to know that I am in such great hands.
