We decided not to join the program, and I immediately called to ensure everything was clear. The staff member I spoke with explicitly assured me that the trial was canceled and that we would not be charged. Trusting their word was a huge mistake. It turns out they signed me up for a full gym membership anyway. For the last six months, they have been secretly charging my account. When I discovered the charges and called to resolve it, the nightmare only got worse: "Not our problem" attitude: They refused to refund the six months of fraudulent charges because the employee who told me it was canceled has since been fired. Blaming the customer: The manager, Scott, told me he would look at camera footage to verify what happened. When he called back, he claimed there was "no record of anything" and essentially shifted the blame onto me for their former employee's fraudulent actions. It is completely unacceptable for a business to pocket hundreds of dollars from a family due to their own employee's fraud/mistake and then use "that person doesn't work here anymore" as an excuse to deny a refund. Scott and the upper management refuse to take accountability for their staff. Check your statements closely if you step foot in this place. They will happily take your money, lie about cancellations, and blame you for it later. Avoid this place and their academy at all costs.

It was absolutely ridiculous trying to cancel my membership. A week after signing up, I decided to…read moreconvert a spare room into a home gym and attempted to cancel. Instead of offering a reasonable early termination fee, they told me I would have to pay the entire 2-year contract balance to cancel. Fine. I accepted the contract terms and made sure to cancel when the 2-year agreement ended. Fast forward two years -- I discovered they had continued charging me for FOUR additional months after the contract expired, at an increased rate. I called the gym directly, spoke with the manager, and was told they understood the situation and would process the cancellation and refund the post-contract charges. A month later? Still charged. I had to dispute the charges through my bank. Then I received a call from their third-party billing company, ABC Financial, demanding payment. They claimed I never submitted a written cancellation request and that cancellation requires 30 days' notice -- meaning I'm responsible for the disputed charges, additional charges during the "pending" period, and even their so-called annual "club enhancement fee." This process is intentionally difficult. There is no cancellation option in the app. You can't cancel directly through the gym. You're forced to go through a third-party finance company with rigid technicalities designed to keep charging you. Extremely frustrating experience. Be very cautious before signing a long-term contract here.

On the negative, the facility (building) and equipment need some TLC. Have observed cardio equipment (Ellipticals and treadmills) have repair tags for a very long time. During the day when not crowded that's a non-issue but during peak hours it's frustrating. And there's plenty of black mold in the men's locker room in the ceiling above the showers and in the grout lines of the showers between tiles. I think that's a pretty unhealthy thing! There were 2 flat benches, 3 inclines (one of which could not be adjusted due to missing knob) and one seated bench which was missing the seat. I waited 25 minutes for a bench and never did get one. There was almost 2 rows of missing weights 20-35 lbs I believe and as there were only 4 people using the weights, not sure what to think. For $40 (my fully equipped club charges $25 day pass as does the fully equipped 24 hr fitness nearby I expected a more fully equipped gym. There were a lot of cardio and fitness machines if that's what you are looking for but if you are looking for a free weight fitness program, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I mentioned the broken benches and missing weights to the front desk and he is "going to let the fitness director know" - shouldn't they already know? Anyway spent too much money and didn't really get a decent workout. Just spoke with club ambassador Rocco - he reached out regarding my experience. He explained that I was there during their busy time and they are repairing the benches and will be expanding their free weights areas in the near future.
