Pure joy is a cute and friendly place. Our server was so sweet with my girls, took her time to explain menu items and answer questions we had. I started with a decaf oat milk latte that was very flavorful and not watered down. My husband a regular latte and my oldest had a mango smoothie that was made from fresh fruits and thick. I had the banana pancakes they were delicious, perfectly cooked and topped with fresh fruits. Portions were just right not too much or too little. My husband had the mushroom flatbread on almond flour (this was hands down our favorite dish). The flat bread was perfectly crunchy yet soft at the same time, loaded with mushroom, homemade almond ricotta cheese, arugula, and pickled onions. My oldest had the avocado toast which was very flavorful. They accommodated my youngest request of mini pancakes (they weren't very good tho, dry and hard). I love that they have many vegan options right on the menu not having to make special requests is very nice. Food did take long for only having 3 tables with customers. Overall it was a pleasant experience and will return.

I came here today with a few coworkers for lunch. This is seriously the best lunch restaurant in the area. We have tried other restaurants during lunch and none of them compete with this place! Service is great. They understand we are here for lunch so they are very quick. I had the truffle flatbread and omg it's amazing!!! So delicious. Fresh ingredients. 100% recommend it! The price is also reasonable considering the portion and the fresh ingredients. I will continue to come back here. Love this place and so happy we found it!

I went to co-work here with my manager, and we loved it! It's also really close to where I live, so I'm definitely coming back for more. We ordered the mechada arepa, the truffle and mushroom flatbread with almond flour, the tequeños with almond flour, a Jamaica agua fresca to drink, and for dessert, the brownie. The star of this meal was the brownie--it was extremely sweet (which I loved) and had better ingredients than a regular brownie. Definitely a great option for a sweet treat. I also loved the flatbread; it tasted so good!As a Venezuelan, I don't usually order arepas or tequeños when eating out since I can have them at home, but they were good. The tequeños made with almond flour were a bit dry and tasted like whole wheat bread. Definitely coming back to try a smoothie!

This place is a gem. So glad to have discovered this fresh creative kitchen on this side of town. It can be hard to find healthy foods that actually taste good that you won't get tired of. Thankfully, Pure Joy has so many options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert as well as juices and acai bowls. So far, I love how all of their food tastes. And I can indulge because it's not heavy at all and it seems like they're always creating something new and fresh. Believe it or not, I'm fairly picky with the type of foods that I eat in the sense that I try to avoid foods that are highly processed, are high in sodium, and/or contain lots of preservatives/artificial ingredients. This is not what you'll find here at Pure Joy. Add to all of this the pleasant ambiance and the fact that the servers have been kind, attentive, and informative. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes here from all the pics that I've seen. Love this place.

Super cute cafe in Midtown Doral with a feel good vibe! I passed by here spontaneously when I was looking for a healthy-ish lunch place in the area and Yelp came to the rescue. Everyone was super inviting. They offer free wi-fi and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. The place is decorated super nice. I ordered a matcha latte and a Kikiriki arepa which comes with perico (yes, I always have to laugh reading this too thinking of the word's other meaning but it this case they meant scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions). The arepa came with a coconut cilantro sauce which was super yummy. I loved that they have contactless payment where you can scan the bill and pay online. But I can see how this could be challenging for older people.

Our next food adventure take us to Pure Joy Restaurant located in Doral we going at breakfast time I never go before to a place I feel like home and the energy you feel when you coming inside and seat is real. Our waitress Albony was incredible kind and professional because she  offer the best option from the menu and she come to our table to see how is everything about the food and drinks. Now I want to say thanks to chef Ricardo and Esperanza the lady helping in the kitchen because the food is like a gallery of color and savor every plate we ordered is better then the other, the combination of the fresh ingredients the chef used is so amazing my palate explodes when I trying each bite and everything was so well prepared that I can't wait for my next visit. And each drink is also prepared by a young specialist barista with the perfect recipe of ingredients that has an effect in your mouth that you want to savor until the end. High recommend place and thanks to the team of Pure Joy Restaurant

I wish I could rate this spot 10 stars! The food was incredible-I got the chicken and mushrooms, a tomato soup, and an apple and arugula flatbread! Seriously delicious! And the service was top notch. Our waitress (I wish I got her name!) was so kind, giving us recommendations and always checking up on us. She even gave us an easter goodie bag! They have touch less pay too!

    Fruity Waffle

First the positive. The place is cute and small. The Reina arepa is amazing. Service is nice. Now the not so great. I went for the gluten free options. The pancakes are very mushy. When I ask they say it because they add bananas. The waffle is very dry and cold also the fruit is just regular fruit nothing special. I guess for me a waffle should be warm and crispy. Also when you order American coffee they do not have creamer, if you want they can sell you a small amount of milk which for me is ridiculous when you have coffee. And... they automatically add 20% gratuity which I find a tad high for being an automatic charge.

this restaurant caught my attention on yelp because of their huge variety of healthy options. The fact that you might be craving a burger or cheese filled dough but are being health conscious is what will drive you here. I think their menu is unique and has a lot of variety. They have a huge selection of dairy free, gluten free, keto, and vegan options. Service was very friendly and welcoming, The almond flour tequeños, chicken tacos, deserts and drinks I tried were all very good. Meatball appetizer and main course salmon entree were below average, would not order these items again.

    Yuca tequeños with cilantro sauce

Tasty and fresh organic dishes prepared with delicious ingredients and love. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The owner is a gracious and friendly hostess. I enjoyed the yuca tequeños and a great chicken entree (Creamy Joy) with tostones and a flavorful arugula salad. If you are in Doral, this place would be a good spot to try for a healthy appetite.

This place is great if you're trying to lose weight, because the portions are diet-sized. What a small, overpriced lasagna! The flavor was great but not filling at all. It seems ordering multiple items is the way to go. But, spending $30+ on a vegan lunch makes no sense. You're better off going to any other vegan place in Miami. In short, make portions sufficient! Yes, I'm hangry.

Guess we came at a good time cause later we did see more people come in. For starters, the staff here were all so professional and welcoming. Shoutout to MARIA for being the sweetest! Great recommendations from her. I loved the food so much. Mix ceviche -- so refreshing and loved the variety Jalea Bocas house (fried shrimp, fried fish, fried yuca fries) -- a little bit of everything and fried perfectly. Paired with the sauces. Skirt and fettuccine -- cooked as I requested (medium). Packed with flavor. SO FREAKING GOOD. Arroz cremoso de aji Amarillo with lomo saltado -- unique dish that worked so well. Recommend! Spicy margarita -- best drink here. Mezcal mule -- my mom and I didn't really like it because it was too smoky. Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.
