I found the location through Groupon and my first appt with them was in Novemer 2025 (I booked the same service as today) and I was impressed with how nicely I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I had been to one other location (not affiliated with Secrets) and I received a very luke warm acknowledgement when I walked in, so being greeted so kindly by the staff at Secrets immediately put me at ease. Then I met with Dianne - she has been so awesome and knowledgeable. She really took her time to do a legit consultation and patiently answered my millions of questions. She really made the experience seem like I was just hanging out with my best friend, who just so happened to also be injecting my lip filler (lol). Anyway, Dianne is also great with advising her clients to schedule post-procedure follow up appts (about two wks out) to see how the filler has settled, answer any questions and do a final massage and assessment to make sure the filler is nicely balanced and settled into the proper places. The very first place I had gone to in May 2025 did not offer these visits (at least not in my experience) and so needless to say I was put further at ease in her care and expertise in this thoughtful approach of checking back with her clients to make sure they're happy with their result. I experienced zero bruising or pain the following day after my injections and pretty much all of the swelling resolved within 2-3 days afterwards (just in time for the work week). My lips were everything I wanted out of the visit! Her injection technique is quite unlike what I had experienced at the other med spa I had gone to previously in May 2025. I received so many compliments from my girlfriends at work at how natural and flattering to my face it turned out (including my COO there, who also dabbles in filler and botox, complimented highly!). So, I went for my 2nd visit today (6/20/26) for a little "top off" and was again so kindly greeted by her amazing Team as soon as I walked in the door. My visit with Dianne today exceeded my expectations just as it had the first time I was there! She actually remembered the little personal tid bits I told her about me in our first chat back in November and again I felt like I was just hanging with my bestie She took the time prior to my injections to discuss what I wanted to achieve and show her where I felt I needed a little extra enhancement. Again, her technique is amazing!! I dont know how she does it but I have zero pain or bruising, I do have minimal swelling, but that's just to be expected and it's actually pretty mild considering I just had it done. I even went out to a last minute lunch in Oak Brook with a cpl friends about an hour afterwards - I didn't even bat an eye, or feel self conscious, that I had just come from a procedure appt. I cant wait to see how it settles in and will try to remember to edit this post with before and after pics. I'm pretty damn picky and critical when it comes to who I go to for any services I'm willing to put some bucks down for, but I will hands down keep going back to Secrets for any aesthetics related service as long as Dianne and her Team are there! The nurse claimed there was a note on my profile stating I requested the fan be turned off--which is completely inaccurate. I never made that request. I also purchased an expensive package under the impression of full hair removal, but I have not seen the results promised. When I raised concerns, I was told I would likely need to purchase additional sessions and that the treatment only removes about 80% of hair--something that was never clearly explained upfront. I requested documentation of what I signed and asked to speak with a manager. After multiple requests over several weeks, I received no response. When I finally spoke with the district manager, Jocelyn, she repeatedly spoke over me. When I mentioned recording the call (as your system states calls may be recorded), she claimed she had never heard of calls being recorded in her 5 years with the company and hung up on me. Shortly after, I received a call from someone on the "care team" who confirmed that calls are in fact recorded, directly contradicting her. When I pointed this out, he avoided addressing it. I was also told the employee who sold me the package is no longer with the company, so they cannot verify what was promised--which is unacceptable. At this point, I requested a refund. Instead, I was told I would be charged $400 per session for the 4 sessions used, meaning I would lose $1,600 from a $2,000 package. This pricing breakdown makes no sense and feels misleading. They were very responsive when making the sale, but completely unresponsive when addressing serious issues. After months of poor communication and unprofessional service, I have no interest in store credit. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

Well, sure enough, after just a few days, my eyelids started feeling incredibly heavy, and there was just no way of lifting them up (since the muscles are paralyzed). One eye ended up being worse than the other, which just made me look so lopsided and weird. Worse than that, I just felt like I looked like an idiot. I should also mention that I had 2 bruises near my eyes where I got the injections. This has never happened to me before with Dysport, etc. So, at my 2-week follow-up appointment, I expressed how unhappy I was. She told me it's a 'give and take,' like you have to give up one thing for another. She injected me with some more, but honestly, nothing changed. When I finally asked the front desk for an update, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. Expecting a patient to wait over an hour past their scheduled appointment-especially with no proactive communication-is unacceptable. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but keeping patients informed shows respect for their time. What made this even more frustrating is that I took time away from work for this appointment because I specifically wanted to see a board-certified dermatologist. During my last three visits, I was seen by another provider in the office rather than the dermatologist. I was prescribed multiple medications that either irritated my skin or failed to improve it, and my skin actually became worse over the course of treatment. That is why I specifically scheduled this visit with the dermatologist. Instead of receiving the care I was hoping for, I was left sitting in the waiting room for an extended period with no indication of when I would actually be seen. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel like patients are treated as appointments on a schedule rather than individuals whose time and concerns matter. The office was super nice, clean, modern, etc. And the staff were very professional. The surgery was unexpected as I did not know what MOHS surgery was and the person making the appointment misinformed me. But the surgeon did a good job.
