    The T-Rex

Absolutely great experience here at Pure. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we were dining in or taking out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We chose to dine-in outside and menus were brought out to our table to review.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very nice and sunny outside but it is cozy inside if you decide to dine there instead.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are a few drink options including wine and a thc beverage. My party just got waters and teas. The pizza itself was soooo good. They came out in less than 10 minutes of us ordering. The T-Rex was not only meaty and tasty but the sauce was sweet and paired so well with the entire pizza. I will be returning to try more of their pizzas soon.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute location![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ample parking great for carry out, but I loved sitting inside! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is adorable and they have options in the drink fridge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love that they have a build your own pizza option and so many types of pizza on their menu. Hot honey with vegan cheese was a hit for me and the fiance loved his calzone! Looked beautifully made. Service was quick and we look forward to trying many more pizzas here!

Order via ours website. Driver picked up my pizza order at 5:50p and didn't deliver it until 5:09. I literally live 0.5 miles down the street. We just had a newborn which is why I didn't go get the order. Entire order was COLD. DRIVER TOLD ME HE WAS DOING MULTIPLE DELIVERY APPS

The pizza tastes good. The salad was decent. The crust was thin with good toppings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My biggest concerns were the empty parking lot, the 96.5 sanitation score, and there was no soap in the restroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plus there was a broken toilet with a sign on it that looked to have been broken for a while.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I told the one person working here that the soap dispenser was empty and she just said ok. I went back to check after I ate and she still had not refilled it with soap. That makes me wonder if they're washing their hands with soap before preparing food. That could explain that low score. There was only one cook and one server when we arrived. No other customers and it was lunch time. This is an indication that I probably will not return.

Hole in a wall type place! Located off Central Ave. Friend and I decided to come for lunch. Arrived around 130ish, and the parking lot was EMPTY! you walk in, place your order at the counter, and then find a table, and they bring the food out for you. I ordered the chorizo personal pizza with Brussel sprouts. It was DELICIOUS! Pizza was made fresh, and the combination of chorizo with the radishes and lime they gave you gave it the extra kick! I definitely enjoyed that pizza and could've eaten the whole thing if I didn't stop myself. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. Grilled with all the spices, which made them flavorful and not just plain. The sanitation score was a bit low, 96.5, and the bathrooms had no soap in them and a broken toilet. Makes you wonder if the employees actually wash their hands if and when they use the bathroom. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Superised at how it was empty when we came during lunch hour, which always makes me wonder what is wrong.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Either way, my pizza was delicious, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items, but given the low sanitation score, I wouldn't come out of my way either. A big plus, though, they do have their own attached parking lot with PLENTY of parking spaces, which is always a plus, especially off Central Ave.

Really, really good pizza. Not too saucy, just the right amount of toppings. The sweetness of the peppers was really good. The price for the size was a bit much, but taste alone it was 5/5.

Portnoy would probably give them a 7.5 You know it's going to be a good spot when as you're walking in, people are walking out saying "I'm so excited to eat this I can't wait, I'm taking a peak." Pure Pizza delivers a great classic pizza, more on the thin crust side which I like. Great cheese ratio as well! Highly recommend!

    GREASY!

Ok So definitely would have got another star if they made my pizza correctly and wasn't so expensive for quantity of food. We got 10 inch Slap your Mama Pizza which they forgot to put ground beef on which was extremely disappointing , Mushrooms Appetizer they were some chopped up mushrooms with garlic and a sprinkle of goat cheese for $8, and 2 side Caesar salads they were just ok based on salad dressing but greens were very fresh and yummy homemade croutons. $30 plus tip Overall Ratings Mama Pizza Mushroom Appetizer Caesar Salad On a side note the ingredients of pizza were very fresh and seem to be GREAT quality! Very Greasy but I did add garlic and I'm thinking they used garlic oil. I probably wouldn't return to far and pricy for what you get and I'm not close, I drove 20 minutes to get it.

The best pizza I have had in Charlotte so far! I ordered the T. rex (which is essentially a meat lovers pie) on a Friday night. It took about 25 minutes to prepare. $24 in total. The pizza was delicious. It had such a generous portion of meat! The cheese was so fresh. The dough was the perfect texture. Each bite was soooo good! The 16" pizza was 8 slices and good for 2-3 people. Parking is a bit of a disaster, but once you get there, it's great! Indoor and outdoor seating.

    Farmer's Salad
    Kate T.

Pure has always been bookmarked, but I have never made it, and now after relocating to the area and that I can practically walk to this location I had to try them out. The Farmer's Salad was amazing, a nice spring mix with radishes, carrots, onions and goat cheese with a balsamic dressing. As for the pizza, I created my own, thin, but not too thin crust, with a fluffy crust. I ordered pickup so cannot weigh in on too much on service, but from my pickup experience it was good. Definitely look forward to my next visit and trying some other pizzas they offer.

Dined here for the first time and was not impressed by the salad. The chicken was cold and seemed like it was bought and not cooked on site. The pizza comes in two sizes and the smaller one has an option of an ancient grain crust. The pizza itself was flavourful and my party loved theirs. I was disappointed that they didn't have wings because that's always my go to when visiting pizzerias. The hostess was kind and gave me a side of pimento cheese which helped the taste of the salad. If you like pizza, this is a good local place to try and support.

Mushroom pizza with veggie bites ( I forget name)
    Kirby N.

Very nice place on central, ample parking. Inside seating appears closed off, we enjoyed a nice day on the patio. The food is spectacular, I loved how they curated the veggie rolls. The bites came with marinara which complimented it well The pizza was a hit! 7.4 in my book, strong score. The crust was amazing and crisp. They suggested a honey sauce which did make it pop

Not only are the pizzas absolutely massive, but they're also incredibly delicious. The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. It has the perfect texture and flavor and is good enough to eat on its own. Every bite was fantastic, and the quality really stands out. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

The draft beer (e.g. Pernicious) was $5.50, then $6.59 and now $7.00. The pizza looked great and was not burnt or undercooked - but seemed a little soggier than normal (typically it's more dry/crunchy). The service was still very good and pleasant. The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

Their patio is so fun, the street you overlook is pretty chill so there weren't a lot of cars or noise. The area has good enough traffic for decent people watching, that's always fun. Our server was so funny and cool. I wish I could remember his name, but he was having a good convo with the person I was with about basketball and it was just really nice. It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.
