I got the Philly and it was sooooo salty. I couldn't finish it. I'd go back but I'd prob stick with pizza or one of the oven baked dishes. They have a connected ice cream shop, I didn't try any this visit but made a mental note to go back and check em out since the flavors looked to be tasty. read more

I just tried their stromboli and couldn't be more dissatisfied. This had to be the toughest and flavorless stromboli in existence. I'm sure they provide marinara dipping sauce to soften the crust enough to be edible. Never will I attempt to eat this again. It is my hope that first time stromboli eaters will not judge all stromboli by this one. read more

Best pizza I've had in Charlotte. I've been meaning to stop by this place for a while and finally got around to it for lunch. I placed my order online and it was ready to pick up in 15 minutes. it really makes you feel "why not pizza" The pizza is decent, but there was nothing really outstanding about it to be honest. They do have a few things right: There's a good amount of toppings on the pizza and the ingredients are high quality. There are a lot of nice combination choices and plenty of variety on the menu. They do have amazingly fudge-y chocolate ice cream. I've been here a few times and it doesn't leave much of an impression each time. The crust is always a touch too chewy and I'm not a fan of the chewy, doughy consistency. Good pizza is really all about the sauce and the crust. Everything else is secondary in importance, and they try to cover up the lack of remarkable pizza taste under layers and layers of toppings Overall, not bad. I'm sure some people love it for the variety. Pizza is one of my absolute favorite indulgences. read more

Places like this remind me why I miss Charlotte! This small business is serving up big New York flavors. We never drive to east Charlotte but I will make it my business to do so on my next visits. I ordered very simply: 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and fried mushrooms. Would have ordered more but had just left the restaurant next door and BW's Sweets Bakery - check out my next reviews. Don't judge. I told you we never visit this area anymore so I took advantage of my time in what used to be my old stomping ground. Now back to the review. The pizza was that perfect combination of foldable crust, tangy with a bit of sweetness tomato sauce, stretchy cheese, generous spicy pepperoni and - wait for it - grease! Love at first bite. The mushrooms were crunchy and unctuous and still hot after my 30 minute drive back to Matthews - Union County side. The young lady at the register was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed this! Just got it on DoorDash for lunch and the turkey sub was definitely top-5 I've had down here. Toasted nice and they don't scrimp on the toppings. Also got a pepperoni slice and it's SUPER thin but if you're okay with that (I personally am) it's very good as well. Looking forward to ordering a pie and some different subs this weekend! read more

Why Not Pizza is a perfect name for a pizza place that will actually make you ask "Why, Why Not Pizza?" Been here twice. First time I ordered a slice of the works. They took precooked pepperoni pizza slice, tossed a bunch of toppings on, and put it in the oven for all ove 5 mins. Needless to say, the new ingredients weren't cooked, and it was a mess. 2nd time, I ordered a full size pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza and it was an undercooked, floppy mush and a waste of $30. This food is a poorly executed and very over-priced pizza pie. You couldn't get 99 cents a slice for this floppy slop in NYC. read more

Since moving to Charlotte from N.Y this is my go to spot. The cheese , the crust, the sauce . It's all pretty good. I get mine well done cuz it's my preference and it's solid pizza . All in all I'd say a 4.4 read more

The pizza was cold and terrible. The delivery person got here as quickly as possible so I have to think the pizza sat there for a while for some reason. That would be ok, we can heat it up, but the flavor of the sauce was just salty. no other taste was discernable over the salty taste. it just ruins the whole pizza. The dough was ok. A little thin, soggy and flavorless, but I've had worse. I'm from New England, so when a pizza shop claims to make NY style pizza, there are expectations. This met none of them. Then there were the zeppole desserts. They had the taste and consistency of baked pizza dough. Not fried dough like traditional zeppoles. We had ordered 2 servings as we love zeppoles we've had before in other cities, and wound up eating one each of the hard, dry, flavorless little pizza dough balls sprinkled with powdered sugar and threw the rest of them out. $9 of zeppoles trashed. If you've never had a zeppole and don't mind fried dough that has no resemblance with the taste or texture of fried dough, maybe you won't care. I think WNP can do better. We won't be back unless they completely overhaul their pizza sauce. We're willing to just not attempt to eat their zeppoles again. read more

Not much to rate, they had some good pizza. I had a spinach and mushroom pizza. Still haven't found a pizza joint in Charlotte that does beef pepperoni yet. But this place is good I rode by it all the time and finally stopped in to give them a try. Thumbs up. This is an update review about the Chick-O-Philly. This sandwich is the damn bomb. I always get this when I get a sandwich here cause it's one of the best sandwiches in Charlotte. Now I didn't say, The Best but it's one of them. I got the 12 inch today with fries and it was good. I get it with Everything on it. They never disappoint me any time I come here to eat. read more

My boyfriend and I were hungover and searching for any easy pizza. This place has great reviews. And we were honestly seeking anything to sustain us. We ordered thru DoorDash and this pizza BLEW away our expectations. I got a sausage and pepperoni for my friend and I. My boyfriend got the specialty pizza minus olives. But he ended up eating more of our. The sausage was BOMB. Dude, this pizza is legit and delicious! We all sat there quietly eating for a moment and then all said this is fucking delicious. The crust was the right balance between crispy and giving their the ingredients. So happy to know that we have this available to us in less than a 10 min drive! We will become regulars!!! I have ate here for years but recently found the customer service is way pass terrible. I ordered through door dash for the 2rd time. My order was over 60 bucks. The price wasn't the issue. The issue is twice they have given my order to the wrong person twice. On the door dash app it showed it was picked up but when I called why not pizza the person was so rude. I only asked where my order was. The lady was like it's not our problem call door dash. I told her I will but why offer door dash if your having so many problems with thim. And she just hung up. Then canceled my order. Didn't even try and fix the problem. read more
