NEW OWNERS ! After ordering tonight and the pizza was absolutely horrible, I had to call them back to specifically ask if they have new owners because I've never had such terrible pizza in my life. If you look at my last review, this USED TO BE my favorite pizza in Charlotte. We've been ordering from here for at least 5 years. After seeing and tasting the pizza tonight, I just knew something had happened. I ordered 1/2 pepperoni and black olive & 1/2 sausage (our usual). When we opened the box, the cheese had slid off the dough !!! The dough was barely cooked. There was hardly any black olives on the pizza at all. Look at the photo attached ... there are a total of 3 olives on 2 slices !!! The dough was not cooked all the way through and you could literally see and taste the uncooked dough. Honestly, this was the most horrible pizza I've ever had in my life. When I called to see if there are new owners and that's why, the girl on the phone initially lied and said there were no new owners. Then when I was telling her how horrible the pizza was and that the dough was not cooked she said "Well, it's the same oven." "We put it in for the same 5 minutes." So I said, so you ARE under new ownership ?" She knew she was caught and said "Yes, ma'am." I told her "We have been ordering for years but we're going to have to find a new pizza place now." Ordered three different pizzas last night. All of the crust were burnt. I ordered mine with extra sauce and veggies as I don't eat cheese. No extra sauce and even my daughter who had one of the other large pizzas said that the mushrooms were not cooked, I experienced the same thing on mine. $60 later and with a tip I 100% would not recommend eating or ordering pizza from here. I know there are a lot of other choices when we come to Myrtle Beach and it just so happened that a flyer was at our door so I'm not sure if they have an agreement of some sort with holiday inn vacation at Myrtle Beach but definitely would not do an order , super disappointing. This is one of our favourite locations for vacation and since we have family in Columbia, we are coming here more often, but this is a place I would never order from again. read more

UPDATE: Credit where credit is due. Three months ago, I posted here a scathing condemnation of Milano's. At that time, I determined to never order from them, again. However, to-day, I placed another order with Milano's to take advantage of a deal on their fettucine Alfredo, a favourite of my wife. I also gambled $20 and ordered another pizza from them, expecting to be disappointed, but hoping for otherwise. My five-star rating shows that the otherwise for which I'd hoped became a reality. This pizza from Milano's was one of the best I'd received from a pizzeria. The crust was firm and cooked through. The toppings were flavourful. Particularly of note, the pizza came with a very acceptable amount of cheese, though I did not order extra cheese. And it arrived hot right out of the box. Milano's hit all the marks on this one. I cannot comment on the fettucine Alfredo because my wife chose to save it for dinner, and I wanted to get this new review out before I got lazy and forgot about it. I was going to save half of the pizza for my dinner, but it was so good that I ate all of it for lunch. This time, Milano's knocked it out of the park. If it can stay consistent, we'll be ordering more from them. read more

Ordered delivery from this location. Ordered Parmesan chicken and an appetizer. The food arrived on time and was still warm. The appetizer needed to be heated up a bit but that was due to delivery time. Pasta was great. Added some salt and pepper, was perfect. Just enough spice and flavor. Late delivery, and my complaint is that I received no updates while I was waiting. The pizza was actually really good, if a bit cool. It was rainy, and may have been a rough day for the delivery, so no complaints about that. I just wish I'd had some update. read more

I contacted the manager at Milano's and they gave me a full refund, so I'm updating to 3 stars for the service.

First, we have been going to Milano's since 2018 (maybe 2017). Pizza was great, consistent and perfect. Cooked just right. Crust with the perfect light crispness. It was a goto staple in our house. Now, the last two times something is different. 1) I no longer see the folks who used to run the place. The same faces I always saw. 2) The ordering process is primarily automated. Some generic computer voice that give option #1 to get a text link to order and #3 was to talk a "team member on our staff". Super generic. but when you hit #3 the phone disconnects. To get through don't press any key prompts. 3) The pizza has been absolutely terrible. Soggy. Flops like a soggy clumb of wet paper towel paper towels. You literally need to needed to finish it in a frying pan. In one of the pictures you can still see undercooked dough. And in the other you can see the bottom is just like a processed piece of cardboard. 4) Customer Service. I called back to speak to a manager. "There isn't one here". Me: "Seriously? Then who can I speak to?" His response: "Well there really isn't anyone to speak to. I can take a message." I asked if someone had a key to close, he said yes, so I asked to speak to them. He said "they are busy". I am about to lose it now! Asked him when the owner would be in, he said maybe tomorrow. I ended it there and am going to call back tomorrow. If I reach him, I will update this. To wrap this all up. Pretty sure ownership has changed and the food quality and customer service has gone to nothing. If I could give 0 stars I would. UPDATE (1/20/24): to date no one called me. So I called back today and spoke to the same person I spoke to last week. She acted suprised when no one called me back, so I asked to speak to the general manager or someone else. She said they weren't available. At that point, I was frustrated, told her this was ridiculous and ask who I should speak to next! She asked me to hold on and came back to say the store manager will come speak to me. NOTE: she told me the manager wasn't there just a minute ago. Finally the manager came on and said they would take care of it. ADDITIONAL INFO: He did explain they are moving on from a number staff and trying to get their feet under them as new mgmt, and hoped we will give him another chance. His honesty seemed genuine (added back 1 star), so we will see. Maybe we will try again, maybe we won't. read more

I've loved Milano's Turkish pizza for years. The toppings have always been fresh with bubbly cheese, and the crust has always been fantastic. We ordered our usual Turkish pizza tonight, and we were SO disappointed. The crust was thin and soggy, the cheese was barely melted, the protein toppings were burned, and other than the red onion, the veggie toppings were minced and barely noticeable. It actually looked like someone had spread ketchup on a flat cracker, burned the meats on the grill, and tossed some cheese on the mess before they sealed the box. On the plus side, it was delivered 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. We will not be ordering from them again. read more

I'm obsessed with Milano's. I don't live on that side of town anymore, but whenever I find myself over there, I HAVE to go. Their buffalo fries are so good (and a rare find), along with their homemade ranch. My hubby and I have gotten into real arguments over that ranch. Anyway, their pizza is also good and unique, plus I love the fact that they offer Kalamata olives. If they offered beef pepperoni, I'd drive across town for this pizza. read more

DiGiorno is better pizza. Tried the Sicilian pizza which is actually the same as a normal pizza but with toppings. The Italian bred is a 65 cent loaf of bread from Walmart dipped in butter with pre diced garlic. Topped off in the microwave with cheese. Had another go with Milano's Pizza is nothing to write home about, decent but thats all. Price is high for the amount of food that you get. No small pizza should cost 12 dollars. I will go back to Luigi's, 8 bucks for 2 slices that are far larger than the small pizza I got here. Pizza sauce is sweet, crust is ok if you like a hand tossed puffy crust. Came here for the first time today. A few people in the office suggested it, so about 4 of us places orders. Placing the order over the phone was quick and easy. The man who helped over the phone and at pick up was super nice. The food was done when they said it would be...... always a plus. I had the pepperoni rolls and they were cooked perfectly. Yes, a pizza delivered sounds like a good idea. And Milano's is on the Yelp EAT24 system so we went through the wizard and paid for it. The confirming email says "45-60 minutes." At 80 minutes, I pinged customer service who said "The restaurant assured me that the driver has departed with your order and should be pulling up momentarily." Yes, he arrived momentarily if your definition of momentarily is 40 minutes later. My home is 2.8 miles from the restaurant. The sandwich was good and the salad was good and the pizza (once reheated) was good. They followed my special requests to leave things off or on, which was good. So. It took two hours. The pizza was room temperature. Cold pizza an hour late? I won't be ordering from Milano's again and I would say "Meh. I've experienced better." read more
