Will not be going back! A total waist of money. I first got a bob weave by a lady name Danielle and the weave lasted maybe 3 weeks. For $275 I thought it should have lasted longer then that. I wanted to get it touched up and Danielle was unavailable so I went to Rhonda. She said that she was unable to do anything with it because it was too damaged. She said that she can take it down for $30 and redo it for 275. I was like what the hell why not. Why did I do that a week later I am back to where I was before I went into the shop. 275+275+30= too much money for nothing!!!!!!! Rhonda said do not put anything in your hair and get some Seabreeze to moisturize your scalp and but a scalp scratching comb from Amazon. Let me just say that I was looking for a new stylist for my hair , and I came across Pure Pleasure Salon by reviewing reviews. A few names popped up but there was just one specific stylist who stood out from the rest and her name was Starr. My hair has not been done for at least 3 1/2 months so it was a absolute horrible mess. I called in and who answered was Starr!! I told her about my situation she was nothing but professional and understanding and said she will do what she can to help me out. She had a very flexible schedule which really made even more happier bc my previous stylist always had to squeeze me in with 5 other heads before me. And she did not work on certain days of the week so I would have to wait to get my hair done. Starr was patient, accommodating, funny, informative, and extremely nice. My very first time meeting her and letting her do my hair, it felt like I've known her for awhile. She is now my new hair stylist and I can't wait to go back. If you have any questions , comments , or concerns she is attentive and will immediately get back to you and be there when you need her. My finished hair was absolutely beautiful and stunning! I had nice, expensive hair installed, then brought in some spare, cheaper hair, just in case some space needed to be filled. Somehow all the cheaper hair ended up installed, but my pricey hair disappeared. She didn't give me back any extra hair, when I should've had some ounces left. I can tell by how my hair is laying that its not the same. MAYBE she put SOME of the pretty hair in. MAYBE. But not as much as I had when I came in. Also she was rough on my real hair. It's thick and long. Instead of snatching it, try a detangler, oil, moisturizer, somethin. It's too bad, because the style is nice enough. I would've come back for repeat business. I would have bought some hair from her recommended spot. But I guess her hair is so trash she had to take mine. Oh well, I guess some folks just don't like money. I thought place was open since it said booth for rent. I stopped by and it looks like a garage in the inside. I called the number and it was disconnected. The owner wrote a response. She took it down. I wonder why. It wasn't professional but it wasn't awful either. I came back to see if current customers had better experiences. I try to give businesses second chances but I don't know if I can trust someone who hides their true nature. Her initial response was to snap back ( like I said, not professional but ...). Maybe she realized it was wrong and took it down but she could have at least provided an updated response. But honestly I drove by shop on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I called and the number was incorrect. Part of her response was she had a faulty phone. I wish I could have gotten "Sorry about that I was having technical difficulties with my phone. I am a frequent visitor to the pure pleasure salon. My stylist of choice, like La Shanda, is Neka. Neka takes her time and I am always pleased when I leave the salon. The shop is usually pretty busy, but never overwhelmingly. When coming in the evenings or during the weekends parking can be a little difficult to find. Most clients park in the jiffy lube lot. I made an appointment a few days before an interview and Rhonda was able to fit me into her schedule for a wash and flat iron. It looked amazing until I discovered that all of my hair has terrible heat damage!! I had very curly hair and now, due to the heat damage, I have no curls and my hair looks very unhealthy.
