I don't think I've ever had a positive experience here, and it's not because of the food. I've been coming here once a week for over 5 months for my boss and these people just don't care at all about their customers. They blatantly ignore you when you walk in, they continue mopping the floor for 10 minutes before stopping to help the line of customers, they're late every single time. I order smoothies the same time pretty much every week and they're late every time. How is that possible ? Especially when I go in and there's maybe 1 person in the store, if that, and always at least two workers. And I get it, maybe you're busy, but again there is no communicating with the customers or haste or anything. I mean I'm standing in the store as I'm writing this review and I've been standing in the same place in line behind one other person for over 7 minutes. There's two people working and nothing happening. Insane unprofessionalism. Disappointing because the food is good. read more

Pre-bottled juices are decent. Would expect a bit more for $11. Kale Chips for $7? I'll go up the street to sprouts and get the same brand for about $4 less. I get the need to inflate to make a buck but come on, guys. Nearly $10 for KALE CHIPS? The acai bowls are consistently disappointing. And never how I ask for them to be. Sub banana for hemp seed. Yet there are bananas on top with no hemp seed. I don't know how else to say it. I went back today to give Pure a second chance. I bought two Pitaya Bowls. I was watching the girl make them and when she poured the base into the bowls I noticed that they were very watery. I asked her " Why are they so watery?". She replied "That's how they are." When I started eating it I noticed that the base was flavorless like something was missing. The quality has gone way down not only for the juices for the bowls too. The quality of the products that has gone way down has nothing to do with it being ORGANIC fruits and vegetables. Because the owner LOVES stating that they use ORGANIC fruits and vegetables but what does that have to do with it when the quality of there products has gone down. This use to be my favorite place for Acai/ Pitaya Bowls and Juices. I use to go everday and buy at least two bowls. But not anymore since their quality went down. Hopefully the owner/ manager reads this so he can improve the quality of his products how they use to be. Until they improve or go back to how they use to be, I'm taking my business somewhere else. read more

Honestly, I've told myself that the service will get better, but it's gotten worse. I haven't gone here once and had my order made correctly. They have had to remake my order every time I come here and the quality of the food has gotten significantly worse. Don't come here if you are in a hurry because I came here with my two kids and ordered 3 açaí bowls and they were remade twice and we've been here for half an hour. This place is a nice cool, clean, refreshing break from the heat. However, I think the juice needs a little work. There's something not quite there in all of them. Mostly in particular the athlete and the hydration. I got my Athlete with the vegan chocolate protein powder and somehow it tasted like NutraSweet, or worse artificial bubblegum. Don't know if they mistakenly put in vanilla protein powder? But either way this flavor profile should not exist as an option. And the hydration, while it may be hydrating, it's not very pleasant to drink. I guess my point is just that, the drinks may be functional, but they're not pleasant. I've been a customer since this place opened 5 years ago. Every time I have done the 3 day juice cleanse I become the most refreshed and re-energized version of myself (especially on day 3)! There are so many juice spots in LA, it's difficult to find the most delicious and refreshing. This place is it! Their menu is limited, so the product remains fresh and invigorating.
