Last week I stumbled across Pure Pressed Juice & Vitamins and I was in the mood for something refreshing after just getting over the tail end of a cold. I was a bit bummed at first that as I walked in the staff was getting ready to lock up for the evening but that quickly changed! I didn't catch the sweet girls names (dark curly hair/light eyes, with a very friendly personality) told me not to worry and didn't mind locking up after so I could order a juice. It was my first time here so she took time to give me samples of a couple different bottled drinks and even took time to show me around the store all the different vitamins! I was blown away by the service and this was all minutes after they should have locked the doors where most people would try to rush you out, she was extremely patient in allowing me to look around and then order a juice. The juice was delicious and the customer service was even better. This is definitely my new go to juice spot and now vitamin spot. read more

My favorite juice bar in west LA. They use the freshest ingredients and have a ton of other offerings other than juice. While their prices are a little higher than others, you know you are getting truly organic ingredients. I often see the owner here and she is always very friendly and offers samples of different products in the store. Their acai bowls are delicious and even though the last time i was there my bowl didn't really have much fruit I will gladly order it again. This place really is as good as it gets - especially the acai bowls, they are amazing and that is one of my favorite things to get at juice shops - its hands down the best i have ever had anywhere i've tried. I also like the activated charcoal coconut water its delicious and detoxing, and they have these little super shots i get the tumeric ginger one whenever feeling like there is cold going around and it kills all that bad stuff its fantastic. But what I really love about this place is the owner (the workers are really cool as well, but the owner created the place to give other people the benefits of what she serves as it has transformed her body, healed her, and so she lives by example. Aand the prices are very reasonable compared to whats out there....aaand they do a bottle recycling thing for a discount when you bring them back. Appreciate you guys! read more

I bought an acai bowl for my daughter last week and she did not like the acai! There was nothing wrong with it, she just didnt like it. So today when i went in to get my bulletproof coffee i asked if they can make her bowl with just granola and fruits. The lady said she needs to ask the owner. She came back and said that they can not do it. I was surprised and asked " you can not put some granola and fruit in a bowl?" The owner came out and said that the item was not on the menu and she did not know how to adjust the price. I said no problem, just charge me for the regular acai bowl but dont put the acai in there. She said that she couldnt do that because it was not on the menu and she did not know how to measure the stuff!!!! I find that very strange and i find her very unflexible. read more

I love every product they offer and appreciate the integrity and attention to quality that owners dedicate to each recipe. The acai bowl and Best Date smoothie are my favorites. The juices are also amazing. I suggest hydration during an after intense workout sessions to prevent cramping, followed by a smoothie with a protein boost and a wheat grass shot for recovery. I am a big fan of their drinks, juice, almond milk, smoothie are all great choices. Their different juice cleanse offered were great too, greater deal to purchase the cleanse when you look at the price of individual drink. I tried the Detox cleanse and that includes a tea (I replaced with alkaline water), 6 juices (Greens, Balance, Cleanse, Detox, Power, Greens), and an almond milk of your choice (I chose Lavender, a bit too sweet but still tasty). Their juice tastes great and the green juice doesn't taste that healthy at all, for those I have tried there are some sort of sweetener in all of them to make them delicious to drink. One day cleanse is $70, pretty pricy but when you consider their usual price (Juice $10, almond milk $12), it has better value and you can tell it is good for your health. Feel detoxified, pure and relaxed in my body after the one day cleanse which I stayed on just this given schedule with nothing else. Check out their smoothie too, a little cheaper than the juice ($8) and also very delicious. (Tried their Athlete, Green Colada, Pink Dragon and the Best Date), my favourite is the pink Dragon recommended by one of the guys working there who was very friendly. Though I write a lot in this review, my visits were spread out pretty greatly, because I can't afford coming frequently due to the high price. However, definitely recommend it for someone looking for healthy stuff and if you can afford it, I come once in a while when i feel myself need to be a little healthier and purified. Ordered two of the cleanse packages which was supposed to come with 5 juices with raw soup/almond milk and a wellness shot. Unfortunately since it was a no contact pick up the juices were put in the trunk of my car without being able to check the order, so when I got home I realized they did not give me any wellness shots and the bottles were not numbered with labels as to which to juice start with or end with. I called the next day to ask which order to drink juices in and was told " Take them in whatever order". As someone who has juice cleansed before I know that this is not the case as each juice has it's own unique properties that effect your body differently. They even have pictures were they clearly show some of their different cleanses and what juice to start and end with and someone has posted their cleanse bottles being labeled with number stickers but I guess for me " Just do whatever " right ? Next I inquired about receiving some sort of discount for another time to use since they forgot my wellness shots in the order as to they replied " You can come pick it up today and we'll give it to you ". So they wanted me to go out of my way, use up my time and make the effort to go pick up something they forgot. They also did not give my any other option, so basically I just didn't get what I paid for. Anyways you would think I'd give one star but I'm giving three based on the juices and almond milks because of quality and taste, but horrible customer service and never ordering from here again. read more

Awesome establishment. Great ingredients, always fresh. The servers are so nice especially keenen. I suggest the green smoothie its called the green supreme. It's delicious and balanced in taste and ingredients. Also the bulletproof, immunity boost, and the digestion aid are all shots I highly recommend. Also you get a dollar off your next juice if you bring in an empty juice bottle. I stumbled upon Pure Pressed Juice as I was going to The Bigg Chill for my cheat day....talk about second guessing your cheat meal! The owner Dawn is so friendly and informative about all the products. After I sampled the free samples they had at the counter, I went over to look at the bottled milks, she said the Lavender Milk is so calming...without having to ask she said, "Here I'll let you try some" and let me tell you it was beyond delicious and she gave me a second sample since I was so obsessed with it. Their smoothies, milks, and acai bowls are the high quality you can taste and know "that's the good stuff!" I will definitely be coming back for more and no offense to The Bigg Chill...i'm going green :) Oh and I got the golden milk, which helps curb the sugar cravings, plus turmeric has so many benefits! read more

Live in the area, go there a lot. I walked in to buy the small immune boost shot which is $6, they charged me $9, had no idea it had changed. Then after being asked said it was just increased today by the manager. A 50% arbitrary increase? Place is clean and people are friendly. Got to try two juice samples: Balance (greens based w apple & lemon) and Liver Support (Beets, Carrots,Ginger,Aloe,Cayenne). Both are very taste palatable and ended up buying. Other "healthy" items are available: chocolates (yay), puddings, meal packs (turkey chile, bolognese w squash spaghetti, grilled turkey & salmon..etc). Will consider purchasing their their Juice Cleanse in the future (involves consuming 8 items: teas, pure juice blends, almond milk per day)--however, it's quite expensive at $70 per day. But...it is for your health and all of the ingredients used are fresh. BTW - their flavored almond milks are also very delish. Products and employees are great. So happy to finally have a pressed juice/organic smoothie spot in the neighborhood. I've now been here a handful of times since it recently opened thanks to a promo flyer in the mail for a free smoothie (smart marketing). The smoothies are $8, but worth it - I have tried the pink dragon (dragonfruit, strawberries, dates, and bananas with almond milk), green colada (kale, spinach, pineapple, bananas, and coconut water), and best date (dates, bananas, almond butter, cinnamon, and almond milk). All were tasty and filling, but I'm obsessed with the pink dragon for the vibrant color alone! Next time, after a good workout I plan to try the athlete as I hear it's also delicious. read more
