Not sure if it's free or requires validation as we found two-hour street parking on Glendon Avenue located a short walk just east of the center (Do read signage carefully.). Metered parking on Westwood Boulevard. Access Medical Pharmacy absolutely blew my hubby away when last month he received a personal phone call to wish him happy birthday. My doctor recommended this pharmacy when I was having trouble finding anywhere to routinely fill prescriptions. They are amazing. Above and beyond assistance access medical pharmacy is the kindest smoothest pharmacy experience ever. I really feel they care and just some good people. Now I kinda look forward to going to the pharmacy instead of it being a dreadful chore . Seriously every month would be a struggle of needing my medicine and calling pharmacy after pharmacy trying to find my medicine. Also I recently broke my ankle/am on crutches and needed to pick up pain medicine. I had switched to this pharmacy when the pharmacy solicited my business. They put me in an extreme health crisis by suddenly refusing to fill one of my doctors rx they had been filling for a year claiming a DEA problem and insisting no pharmacy would help me while giving suspect reasons forcing me to go to cvs who filled them wo issue. I've been using Access PHARMACY since they opened. Their service is amazing. For example today I needed a change in my antibiotics from amoxicillin to Zithromax. All it took was one short phone call at 1 PM and it showed up at my home in Marina Del Rey at 6 PM. The pharmacist went to my doctor obtained the prescription, filled it and then sent it by messenger at their expense. Don't even think of using another pharmacy these guys the best. read more

Love this family-owned neighborhood pharmacy! You can tell the pharmacist and staff really care about their customers. I've been going here for just two months now and have always received prompt service and my prescriptions are always filled quickly! It's also easy to find parking and I appreciate its smaller size. On my most recent visit, I happened to be there an hour before closing when the whole block's internet was down (talk about timing). This meant that they couldn't take card payments and only cash. I was picking up a daily prescription that had just ran out so I really needed my refill that day, but I came up $5 short in cash. The pharmacist was so kind and understood the urgency of me needing my medication and offered to cover the $5 difference himself. I was BLOWN away!! The actual money aside, I just appreciated how genuinely I felt like I was cared for! After years of experiencing big pharmacy chains like CVS and Walgreens, it was such a refreshing moment that reminded me that there are still good people in this industry who actually care about helping individual people more than maximizing profit. This pharmacy has been a true blessing. I am a supporter of small business operators, and that's how I started going there. However once I started I noticed so much more...they CARE. YES A PHARMACY THAT CARES! They always show compassion, they don't shame you or treat you differently for needing medication. There are a lot of options in Los Angeles, but if you want to go somewhere and be treated exceptionally well, you'll give them a shot. They are also pretty funny and I can always use a good laugh! Best Pharmacy! The staff is always extremely helpful and it really seems like they care unlike a lot of other pharmacies. If they have coupons for the prescription they will apply them sometimes even before you see yourself! Really really good people there, they will tell you about different cheaper options and if they don't have a medicine you need they will get it very quickly! Another thing I love is that if you are sick and feel like your dying they will deliver your meds to you!!! I used a combination of Yelp, my insurance approved provider list and Blink/GoodRx when searching for a new pharmacy. Access was one of the top contenders when I called to ask a few questions of each of the potential new pharmacists based on my criteria. Payam closed the deal with his knowledge, kindness and willingness to keep the customer's out-of-pocket to a minimum using online prices and coupons. I've been using Access for a few months and they are always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I've never encountered the mistakes, being stuck on auto-hold for 45 minutes or waiting in multiple long lines that I regularly dealt with at CVS & Walgreens. Sometimes things get stalled when Payam is on the phone and none of the other employees know how to take care of it, but there is never a bad attitude or 20 minute wait when they're stuck. This pharmacy is not close to my home, but "sort of on the way home" from my pain management doc's office. It takes me less time to go a little out of my way and leave with correct prescriptions the first time than to go through a local chain's line to just drop off my prescription (CVS and/or Walgreens). No two trip/hour to fill. And, I've never had a mistake in filling!! Unless you have a long list of allergic reactions, you can't appreciate the importance of having a pharmacist that is on top of things. I do. I appreciate Access's level of service.
