I went to this salon 6 days ago to get a gel set and my nail already fell off ... mind you I paid $80 for this set and they came out horrible to begin with after I asked the lady 7 different times to re do her mistakes. she glued fake nails on my skin and wondered why she couldn't shape them correctly. The three in the middle are the fake nails and the thumb and pinky are my real nails. She also never cleaned my nails she filed and went straight for applying the gel. As you can also see on the pointer finger she put the thickest amount of glue. I am beyond livid and will never go here again. read more

Basic pedicure for my Husband and I. I called Pure Spa asked for a plain pedicure. I was greeted by the owner in her broken English asking me repeatedly for a pure spa pedicure. I told her multiple times a plan pedicure. My Husband was with us. No price was discussed or explained what a pure spa pedicure. The pedicure was painful and took very long. They put extra cream on our legs and screen wrap. I had just asked for a pedicure. I haven't had one in a while so I wasn't sure if they were doing something new. Anyway I was charged 70 dollars each pedicure. for a painful and she up sold me a pedicure I never wanted. She told me when I went to pay I had only wanted a plain pedicure. Not to pay 140.00 for 2 pedicure. She told me she would make it up to me I said no you won't I will never come back to her establishment again. She upsold me and was sneaky. DO NOT GO HERE FOR STILETTO NAILS!!! About three weeks ago, i booked an appointment for an acrylic tips and gel polish. I was very excited for this. I really debated putting this review up, but my nails are really just THAT BAD. I was so excited and i was so let down. The first red flag was when i asked for stiletto nails and the owner asked me what that was. I then say "pointy" and she says "oh ok no problem". So think no problem right? Right? Well it wasnt a problem when the owner was shaping my nails. Then this other lady came over and started shaping my other nails. she shapes them for a while then asks me how they are. They are drastically sideways. I tell her they are not straight and ask her if she is going to fix them. "Yes of course," she says. At this point, the owner is gone, and the employee is now making the nails on my nice looking hand go sideways as well. I lower my voice and i ask her if she is comfortable doing the shape of nail i want. She couldnt hear me, so i asked again louder and the manager came over and told me to show the stylist a picture on my phone of stiletto nails. The picture doesnt help. I ask for the nail file and take one of my hands back. I filed it straight and pointy. She says ok, then starts refiling my nails - the ones that ive just done. Let me tell you, she filed very aggressively. I dont know whether she was stressed or upset with me, but i had sores on the sides of my nails by the end of the appointment. She made my cuticles bleed just a bit in two places My nails WERE NOT STRAIGHT despite me saying something multiple times. I picked a glittery purple gel. I got two coats on each nail. Some nails are super opaque, and some look like i have on a jelly polish. The sides of my nails were not all covered in top coat, so they all looked noticeably matte compared to the rest of the nail. Also, they have a very limited polish selection. Im sorry. This is the worst manicure ive ever gotten in my life. My fingers were SORE and touching things felt weird with such sideways nails. I really wish the nail tech had been honest with me and said she was uncomfortable and inexperienced with the shape. I paid $65 for this manicure. I should have walked out when things started going sideways. Don't waste your money here. read more

I went a week and a half ago to get a full set of pink and white acrylics. I got pressured into getting a 75$ spa pedicure AND a 35$ 20 minute shoulder massage. Well i spend over 170$ and my nails have already fallen off! I am a stay at home mom and not working outside etc with my nails. This was the only place I could get a manicure before leaving for vacation. I should have gone without. The girl doing my nails never even soaked them, and she was very sloppy with polish going all over. She tried putting a top coat on as a base coat, and the manicure didn't even last a week. Very disappointed in this business. Instead of soaking my nails to remove the nail gel, the woman used a nail filing machine to grind the gel off of all my nails. I didn't know the proper way to remove gel was to soak your nails and not grind them down. Now ALL of my nails are weak and ruined. Will NOT use this place ever again. read more

Best nail salon in the area with the best gels! The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I generally am in the Morristown area and gels from Pure Spa last at least a week longer than the more expensive "job" that I get in Morristown. Do not go for a wax here!! I had an event going on and went in for a half leg and bikini wax, only to leave with a BRUISE almost 2 INCHES in diameter right on my upper thigh next to my bikini line!! This was not my first wax, and it was on the second leg that the woman did, so she should have understood my skin type by that point. There was a small bruise on that first leg that I just overlooked at that point, because the other gaping bruise was distracting enough for the next weeeeek! read more

Really nice people. Good atmosphere. Got a full set with gell. First time going. Went on a sunday. My nails looked great the first few days but about a week later the white tip Polish started to become spotted and see through and the nails began to crack. I spent about 50 dollars on my nails and now I am back at my old salon getting them fixed because 2 of them cracked down the middle. (I'm going to tell you that I do no harsh labor, I'm not rough with my nails at all and I did not expose them to any unusual chemicals) the ladies are nice conversation but the nails they do Are not worth 50 bucks if I have to get them fixed a week and a half later for another 40. read more

They do a wonderful job with manicures pedicures.. pedicure is $25 with an amazing massage great job! and June does an excellent job with eyelash extensions! I will never go anywhere else! Pure Spa is a relatively new store in the area. I saw their blue sign on my way to Route 80 and decided to stop in to get a pedicure. I was amazed by the quality and atmosphere of their store. Their facility is very sanitary compared to other stores that I have seen, and they have unique, comforting lighting with nice classical music. I commute to New York for work while living on the border of Pennsylvania. I have some friends in Allamuchy, and when I visit them I always stop by and get my nails done at Pure Spa. They have a friendly staff that always greets you sincerely, and their service makes you feel refreshed after each visit. I had an appointment and when I got there, there wasn't space for me. Then, it was near closing & they rushed me out. To the point where the owner told me to leave just as my nails were finished because they were closed. I just paid $25 for smeared nail polish. Awesome. this is one of the worst nail salons i have attended. i got a fill yesterday on my acrylic nails with gel polish. she charged 40$... for a fill. way too expensive- my usual place charges 28$ for a fill and 40$ for a full set. today the gel lifted off 2 of my nails and one came off completely. i am completely dissatisfied with this salon and i will not return ever. read more

I went here 3 times. Mainly because I love using the ANC for my nails (been having it done for years at another salon, but unfortunately my nail tech left that salon). The first time the owner did my nails - she clearly didn't know the ANC process. Within a week the product was popping off (it usually lasts up to 3 weeks without a problem). I had made a follow up appointment combined with a pedicure. I decided to give them another try. The pedicure was amazing - Flora did it. Time for my nails. The owner started the process then midway through passed me onto Julia (don't know why). Julia seems to understand the ANC a little bit better. But she was constantly asking me why I need to do ANC - I should switch to gel. I kept telling them I like the ANC and they didn't understand why. Does it matter why? It's what I want - period. When leaving I did not make a follow up for my nails, but I did make an appointment for a pedicure with Flora. I come back 10 minutes before my scheduled pedicure appointment with Flora. The shop was pretty busy and I said I was here for my pedicure appointment the owner looked puzzled, looked in her book and said it would be a little wait. Well, 40 minutes later a chair is available and I don't get Flora. She's working on someone else. I did not like girl who did my pedicure - it was rushed through because they were busy. Why bother making an appointment. Anyway, that was the last time that I have gone there. I don't recommend it. read more
