SMART FIT PARK CITY…read more I want to take a moment to give a very special thanks to the trainers and management at Smart Fit Method in Park City. Back in September, I had shoulder surgery and was sidelined for about 6 months. I started going to Smart Fit after I saw the amazing results my wife was getting from her workouts at Smart Fit. I knew I wanted to get started only after I got the clearance from my doctors. I began this short journey in February 2026 and I am by no means at the end. As a matter of fact, I am just getting started in my new chapter of my health journey and I have the entire team and family of Smart Fit to thank. The entire staff has been encouraging and supportive every step of the way. The team recognizes hard work and effort. They also recognize when I might not be at 100% because let's face it, life gets in the way sometimes. I was struggling with just getting started. We all want to see results ASAP but sometimes you just need to trust the process. "Trust the process" I think this was the biggest struggle... it became much more mental rather than physical. From a physical standpoint I KNEW I would be able to try my best. From a mental standpoint, I knew my struggles would be more difficult. I just needed to "trust the process" I want to make sure all the coaches are recognized. I feel as though everyone has been contributing to my success. Mina, TJ, Jake Michaela, the guys on the weekends!! In particular, I have been working on a nutrition program with Jake at Smart Fit. Jake and I sat down and figured out a simple yet effective nutrition and diet program that would complement all my efforts at Smart Fit. Not only has Jake helped create the program best suited for me. He has also found subtle ways to hold me accountable as well as know how to let me know in assertive ways what he thinks is best for me and my nutritional journey. If I told him, "ahhh Jake I did not hit my daily goal yesterday on my macro and micro intakes". He would say, "that's ok man... let's just make sure we get back on track today" The way it's said, and the authentic tone in his voice, you realize... it's not the end of the world. He knows what you are going through and he wants to see you succeed. The encouragement and the sense of accountability together is what makes the journey so special. Forever grateful to the entire team! I started this journey in February 2026 at 206lbs. I am now at 192lbs in May 2026. My goal is 180lbs. It's NOT about the number on the scale. It's about how I FEEL when I am putting on a pair of jeans that three months ago I could not fit into and now they are too big. It's about how I feel when I am playing on a pickleball court and I am able to get to shots I could not get to before, due to the work Jake and the rest of the Smart Fit team put into MY well-being. I knew if I would continue to "Trust The Process" I would start to see the results. Thanks to the entire team at Smart Fit Method I am on my way to living a much better life! I encourage anyone reading this and who wants to make a difference in their longevity and well being to give Jake and the good folks at Smart Fit Park City a call today!! Tiki Tsakiris

The entire facility is in need of a major upgrade not to mention the much needed regular maintenance. The women's locker room was appalling, locker doors missing or falling off, locks did not work. Seriously if ownership is not going to maintain the gym then close it so unsuspecting visitors don't pay the over the top $30 + tax daily guest fee! There are other options as I later found out.

Though if you hit…read morethe Silver Mountain Sports Club hard enough you may succeed being shuttled... to a molecular airport full of endorphins flying everywhere! Achieve altitude simply by jacking your heart rate up for 30 minutes or more to trigger the release of those tiny happy, buzzy glowmakers. "Please adjust your trays to the seat back position and look out your windows on the left side of the plane to witness the majestic Silver Mountain. Glorious! Thank-you for flying the Endorphin Airlines." ::: PARKING ::: Easy to miss the. Looks more like an office than workout facility from outside. Kimball location has tons of rear parking and only a few spots in front. ::: RECEPTION ::: Friendly staff. Always a smile, a joke, a positive word of workout encouragement. Admin stuff happens here, like renewing a punch or membership pass. Note that passes work at both the Kimball and Prospector locations. 2 towel types upon entry- large and small hand towels stamped with SMSC in communist red. The locked turnstile to the club can be a real beast, especially early mornings when half-wake. Silver Mountain logo'd merch available for purchase. Full-on smoothie Bar! $1 bottled water in case you forget to bring your own is nice. Day care available! ::: FIRST FLOOR ::: Well laid out space. Yoga and spin studio on first floor along with free weights. Spin class is world-class. Even better with view of outdoor lap pool. Great sound system. The high energy party music from spin class flows into the free weight room sometimes because it gets hotter than a swedish sauna in there. Invariably someone jams open the door during classes. Brony free weight users frown upon this this and close the spin class door which we then have to open again. Its the circle of life. Door open. Door close. Door open. Door close. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. ::: SECOND FLOOR ::: Second floor is cardio. Ample treadmills, stair steppers, etc. just lots of aerobic equipment including an female users only room as gawker prophylaxis. ::: THIRD FLOOR ::: Third floor is where the magic happens for me-- large fitness room with tremendous views of the mountains. Sign ups required for all fit classes during winter season. Can reserve a spot up to 24 hrs ahead. They will wait list prior to full classes-- a warm-up for Sundance, I suppose. Most notably for me Butts&Guts (and sometimes Buns&Guns). Put these names on the merch and I will bite-- just adore the fun, catchy, edgy names. Generically shorthand the classes as'BeeGees' for short. Which also perfectly captures the sentiment of pushing through the wall to keep doing 'burpies' and other variations on push-ups until you cannot breath anymore because all your classmates are encouraging each other: Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Exercising as part of a team collective mentality really allows you to push yourself without suffering-- you just zone out and keep working hard. It's a party hive mind with the queen bee instructor. Speaking of, the instructors here are all amazing-- many seem to be world-class athletes in their own right. Also on third floor- changing rooms with lockers and showers. Very clean and well-kept. Lots of people get ready there before leaving to divert fractions of pennies at Initech after they workout. Hand sanitizers and kleenex boxes scattered everywhere. There is also an executive membership with a private locker room area and a laundry service. Like many rooms of the original Apple IIe's Castle Wolfenstein, I have never made it past the lock code box on door so as to witness the splendor. It's VIPs eyes only. I can only presume that here VIP stands for Very Important Push-ups! Drop and give me twenty. No drinking fountain on third floor though. Wonderful excuse for more exercise as I jaunt down the staircase to guzzle my arid parch away! There is another staircase in the back that is out of way. So much I consider it hidden but not quite Platform Nine and Three-Quarters of the Potterverse. ::: THE BOSU ::: Favorite part of my most favorite class (Butts&Guts) is the Bosu. What is this Bosu you ask? Cue infomercial here: Bosu is marketed as a balance trainer but it is much, much more. Bosu is an alien UFO saucer disc thingy that is 26 inches in diameter and looks like a big blue egg yolk. The name 'Bosu' is an acronym: Both Sides Utilized. You stand on it and try to keep your balance while following instructor-led exercises as it keeps wobbling ever so slightly. This Bosu wobble is the special sauce-- an element of instability that creates an added layer of complexity and challenge during the exercises making it so much fun! One happy, buzzy glow with a side of Bosu wobble, please!

If you're sitting in it everyone who comes in and out of the locker rooms or just standing at the front desk can look right at you. Making it uncomfortable to sit there when anyone can watch you and not very quiet either, as the staff talks so loudly out at the front desk. The steam room wasn't hot but the sauna was so at least we had that. The massage therapist was very nice and the massage decent enough, but not worth $300! I've had better massages for half the price. Where there's a nice hot neck wrap, foot massage, hand massage, full neck massage. But I didn't get any of that. The facial was relaxing, but do not get a lash tint. I had dye under my eyes that I was told to clean off myself. Not sure why the esthetician didn't put anything under my eyes to protect my skin from the dye. They also only dyed the top lashes, not the bottom. So weird. All in all I was underwhelmed for the price. I would never go here again because I didn't leave feeling rejuvenated at all. It's just not worth the price. Go somewhere else.

The thing is your paying all that money only for a massage. There is a steam room, dry sauna and hot tub in the adult only section of the resort, so you don't have to go to the spa for any of that. The hot tub at the spa has a waterfall, which looks good in the pictures, but it is loud and aggressive. Lunch is not included with the service, although the website makes it seem as if it is since it shows a limited lunch menu. Also, there wasn't any hot water for the shower. I'm not saying the service was bad, but for the price you pay, you should get more.

They only have one bathroom, though, so be sure to give yourself extra time to use it before your appointment. The massage beds were heated, and both of our massages were clearly personalized with unique techniques. I didn't even realize I had knots in my chest, and the way she worked on my shoulder blades was unreal. We both agreed this was one of the best massages we've had in the past year. All of our friends also had great experiences, so I highly recommend getting a massage here if you're in the area.

Tony gets massages twice a month and said this was the best massage he can remember receiving -- high praise from someone who knows the difference. Her knowledge of human anatomy is exceptional, and she clearly understands how to treat the root cause rather than just the symptoms. She is professional, intuitive, and incredibly skilled. If you are looking for therapeutic results and true expertise - not just relaxation - Valentina is outstanding. We will absolutely return and cannot recommend her highly enough.

I didn't like the steam room, the smell in the steam room reminded me of the Amazon jungle exhibit at the Loveland Living Aquarium. Sauna was good. The spa attendants were great throughout the the booking process and the entire appointment. I got a couples massage at the Grand America Salt Lake City a few months ago, so I had to compare that with my experience with the massage at St. Regis. Which place did it better...I would have Grand America over Remede at St. Regis. The massage was good but not good enough to say I'd go back to get a couples massage there again for what we paid. I felt my left side didn't get as much attention as my right side. There was a tub there but not for use at all for couples massage. At Grand America there isn't a tub but you and your guest get to shower under 16 shower heads for a few minutes before doing the massage. The Remede spa has a lot more light snacks (nuts, fruit bars, chocolate bites) water, and other niceties than at Grand America. Spa attendants were wonderful but if you're going to drop some serious cash for luxury spa massage, I'd go to Grand America instead and while still expensive, not as expensive as Remede for the massage experience. Remede offers 50, and 80 minutes. Grand America offers 50, 80 and 2 hours for couples massage. Something to consider if you're considering couples massage.
