A friend and I reserved a couple of spots in the salt cave to meditate and relax before dinner. It wasn't quite the experience we were hoping for. On arrival, 15 minutes before the session, the front office area was somewhat chaotic with staff + owner hurriedly putting up oversized holiday decor with a 15 foot ladder in the entryway. It felt like an odd time to do that when clients were coming in for a restful experience. Check-in was seamless and easy, though. Staff were all very friendly. As I settled in to prepare for the session, there was a lot of noise from the check in area that distracted from the initial experience. When the salt cave session started, it was again difficult to relax as the motor that generates the NaCl aerosol into the room was making quite a racket. I finally got up to let the staff know, but they said that's just the way it is. This wasn't relaxing white noise. This sounded like a belt on a motor that was at its end. It was very distracting and made it difficult to enjoy the experience. When the session time was up, a staff member abruptly opened the door and announced the session was over, and to leave quickly so the next session could start. (!?) I'd like to suggest incorporating a chime or gong into the sound system or have a staff member use a chime to gently bring clients back to awareness (if they were able to block out the motor noise). Overall, the salt cave is gorgeous and absolutely has a grounding presence, but some of the interactions were really clumsy and distracted from the potential of what this experience could be. I also found all the products for sale (crystals and essential oils) and plastic oversized holiday decor as indicators that this is more likely a commercial venture than holistic healing. That's fine, but be advised.

Perfect way to end the day after a whole day of snowboarding! Just like most establishments in…read moredowntown, this place doesn't have their own parking lot so give yourself a little bit more time to look for street parking. My husband and I were able to book within the same day for a 90-min experience. We had a private room with an infrared dry sauna, steam room/shower, and a small space with a bench to place our belongings. It looked like there was only one other room for a couple but I'm not sure if they had more that I didn't see? It was nice that we were able to connect our own music to the Bluetooth speakers. We paid $115 for the both of us since we upgraded $5 to include Halotherapy which is a salt capsule released in the infrared sauna. The salt capsule lasted for maybe about 20 minutes but it felt nice breathing it in. Outside on the patio, there were 2 cold plunge tubs. The colder one is a one-person pod while the less cold (which was still soooo cold) could fit 2 people but it'd be better to just do one at a time. There's also a 2-person jacuzzi outside. There's also a set of outdoor furniture that looks inviting to hang out in on a warmer day. Rosa checked us in and thoroughly explained the process since it was our first time here. She was welcoming, helpful, and patient with all of our questions. The experience itself was so rejuvenating. We stayed in the infrared sauna for about 25 minutes (they also provide sunglasses to block out the light), then the steam sauna for about 10 minutes then we hurried outside to cold plunge. We came here in the winter time and so it was already so cold out in the patio. The cold plunge felt so good after being the heat for a while but I could only last for 30-60 seconds before my body gave up. It was nice getting to scurry on over to the hot tub afterwards. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here! I wish we had something like this where I'm from. Next time we're in town for snowboarding, I'll definitely come back here again!

Absolutely relaxing and will be coming again soon. I recommend the halotherapy, which is the saline spray for the dry sauna - it opened up my pores and I could breathe better. In the dry sauna, you can change the lighting to different colors, connect your phone with bluetooth for music, and then right after hop in to a super steamy shower. They also have complimentary tea and water. Do the cold plunge and jacuzzi as well. Props to the owner for being so chill and welcoming.

I wanted to do something fun for date night and remembered I saw on Groupon a floating experience. (Side note, the business will match your Groupon price so you don't have to buy it through Groupon if you prefer to just purchase it at the shop.) my boyfriend was also experiencing some issues with his hip and says that this would really help! We decided on the "date float" where 2 people are inside a pod. The lid available to us was about the side of a full mattress. When you enter the room, you see the pod, a bench, a couple of changing areas and a shower stall. There's a lock on the door so you can keep your personal belongings safe. You're allowed 10 mins to rinse off and then get into the pod. We saw something floating in the water and I'm not sure what it was it it grossed me out. Maybe it was lint, but it's not comfortable to see when you're about to get naked and go inside. As soon as the capsule closed, I felt very trapped and suddenly claustrophobic. It also didn't help that the "full mattress" area didn't seem like enough room for the two of us to float comfortably without touching each other or slashing one another. I've never done this before, but I thought the keys would come on while I'm floating. So it also scared me thinking it was going to blast at me any minute. I lasted maybe 3 minutes before getting out and rinsing off. It also didn't help that I saw another couple pay for their services before we entered probably the same room and the same pod. I understand their run the jets to clean it, but just the thought of another couple being in the same pod in the same water made me feel icky. My boyfriend enjoyed it and it helped his hip. He also enjoyed that he had the big space to himself lol. Definitely not something I can do again, but If you're comfortable being in a closed space, and recycled water, your experience will be much better.

As for the scheduling I went through the online booking again and actually got a response back within 10 minutes confirming my appointment. I spoke with julieta before my left and she listened intently and with care as I explained my frustration and validated me through the short conversation. I can say that I will continue to come here and getting great care from their massage therapist. Previous post: I have been coming to this spa for massages one and off for a few years now. I have always had a pretty good experience however today was not that case. I had set an online appointment before they opened which showed in their website and schedule to be available. I recieved confirmation that I would be texted to confirm, well 45 minutes after they opened I had still not gotten a confirmation so I went in at the time I scheduled which was 1015, I was told by the masseuse at the computer desk that my appointment was not confirmed, I then said you guys open at 9 it is now 10 a.m. why was I not updated with confirmation if my appointment was accepted or not. I was told we must have been busy. And basically that since it was not cinfirmed then I should have known. They offered to schedule me for 4 p.m tonight which does not work. I left and as I was walking out the door I then recieved the text saying my appointment request was not accepted. Each time I come I spend well over 120 dollars plus tip for one massage and I do it gladly, this lack of care from the staff or even acknowledgeing the frustration makes it to where I have to consider coming back again. In the end massages are good customer service not so, i would not recommend.

I spoke to him twice regarding the level of pressure however, he did not listen and continued with the high level of pressure. I was also bruised the next day. Also, when I was checking out, he was standing at the top of the stairs, I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated to tip. The rest of my party had wonderful massage massages, this bad review is solely about Pedro. I would be weary, I don't think he had the customer's interest at heart. Also, in my party, I was the last to go in the first to be done which also meant he did not give me my full 60 minutes. Terribly disappointed will not visit this establishment again.
