It was nice so we sat on the patio. The brunch menu is small but packs a nice variety. I ordered the tater tot bowl minus bacon add chicken tinga. It was delicious. The tots were crispy, soft scramble egg, avocado, and cheesy goodness. My companion ordered the belly burger. She said it was delicious ious too. For apps we ordered the hummus. It was good. On a previous visit, I ordered the spicy peanut noodle bowl with shrimp and the dynamite shrimp app. Yum!! Both were loaded with flavor. Forgot to take a pic. From 10-11:30 on weeekends, mimosas are $1.99. What a deal!! And of course I had to try all the flavors! Cran-orange is my fav. They have a great happy hour, daily specials, kids menu, vegetarian menu and some gf options. I will definitely be back to try the pancakes and Nashville chicken Sammy. Shout out to Mike the manager and Rey my server my making my dining experiece so very lovely. This casual spot is ideal for families with small children, couples, groups and celebrations.

All the meals came out warmish but my toddler's meal was scalding hot. The teenager didn't like their cheeseburger, the toddler didn't want their French Toast which is wild since that's their favorite thing to eat. My breakfast tacos were flavorless and hubs basic breakfast was tasteless. We left a lot of food on the plates. Not a place we will be returning too. Looking around the place, everyone was ordering lots of drinks. I guess that's how the food tastes better. ‍

They do offer food and have non alcoholic options. I didn't try the food because I literally ate right before coming here but I definitely want to try it on a return trip. They are dog friendly and I was thrilled to see and get to pet a big puppy who was there being a very good girl. The bartenders have all been super nice. They have a lot of beer. Over 10. I know because we ordered two flights which consisted of five tasters each and we still didn't try everything. But I did enjoy what we did get. They had a really good smoked porter that would pair perfectly with some bbq. And they also had a blackberry lemonade seltzer that was refreshing and perfect for this summer heat wave. If you're in the area definitely stop in.

They also have a good amount of "limited" menu items to eat (loaded fries, pretzels, hotdogs...) They were going to have karaoke that night but I didn't stay that late. They also had a paint/support fundraiser with the KC Zoo going on. I ordered a flight of 5 different beers with were all good with individual flavors and tastes. This will be a place that I stop in more when I'm in the area.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we stayed for music bingo. The food is your basic bar food. Nothing special, a little on the pricey side for food and drink, which is pretty typical for this kind of themed experience. There are ways around that with their daily happy hour and various food specials that vary each day of the week. We came on a Tuesday, and it was taco Tuesday. The brisket taco was amazing, but the chicken was not good.

We started with lunch and got the garlic cheese curd appetizer. These are probably the best cheese curds I've ever had, they come with both ranch and marinara for dipping and they were both great. The waitress convinced me to try their peanut butter burger l, which sounded strange, but was just as delicious as she said. The onion bacon jam was perfect and you only got hints of the peanut butter throughout. I also tried some of my coworkers philly cheese steak tots. I'm not a fan of bell peppers, but eating around those, the cheese sauce, streak, onions, and banana peppers on crispy tots were savory and tangy and just a really good balance. I would order them again in a heartbeat. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if we didn't have to ask for refills and napkins. I wish I had taken pics of the food, but I was too hungry to take the time. On the putt side, they have two mini courses, both with 9 holes. They have putters for golfers of every size and you get your balls from a gumball machine which is pretty fun. As a group of adults, we had a ton of fun playing both courses.

The service was really great and the place is really spacious. There was a private room near the bar that would work well for a bookclub discussion if you're looking for engaging conversation and delicious bites. My friend ordered the ranch rings and the chicken chile nachos. I tasted both and they were really delicious. Would definitely purchase during another visit and recommend you try. I was kinda skeptical about the goat cheese on the nachos but they made it work. I ordered the steak tacos (3 tacos) and the southwest au gratin potatoes. The steak tacos were good (would order again) but the potatoes weren't worth raving about. I enjoyed the pickled red onions and the slaw on the tacos. The steak was cooked medium but I like my steak that way so if that's not your jam - definitely clarify that to your server. Didn't get to try any of the cocktails but looking forward to returning to check out some of the selections offered!

We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday and were told there would be about a 10-minute wait, so we opted to grab seats at the bar and have dinner there instead. As the evening went on, we learned there are some trade-offs to dining at the bar. As the restaurant filled up, the bar area became increasingly busy and service naturally slowed. Small but noticeable details -- like water refills -- started getting overlooked. I was also surprised our server never checked in with my wife about her Chicken Pasta, especially since she barely touched it. We started with the Caesar Salad, which was excellent. The portion size was enormous -- easily large enough for two people to share -- with crisp romaine, generous dressing, and plenty of shaved Parmesan. I'm a longtime prime rib fan, so seeing it featured immediately caught my attention. The 13-ounce cut arrived perfectly medium rare, exactly as ordered. The meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful, complemented nicely by a rich au jus and a creamy horseradish ("horsey") sauce that added just the right kick. My wife ordered the Chicken Pasta, which arrived as a very generous portion that could easily serve two. The dish featured grilled chicken over pasta in a spicy Asiago cream sauce. Unfortunately, the heat level was stronger than expected and ended up overpowering the dish for her, leaving most of it uneaten. One highlight of the evening was the Double Black Diamond Martini -- an infusion of fresh pineapple with New Amsterdam Pineapple Vodka. At $7.95 during Happy Hour (normally $13.95), it felt like one of the best values on the menu and was refreshing without being overly sweet. The restaurant was packed throughout our visit and clearly has a loyal following. After six years in this location, Firebirds seems to have built a strong customer base. With a bit more attentiveness to bar diners during peak hours, the experience could easily move from good to great.
